After work I went straight home. Grayson said that the celebration wasn't formal, that I could wear normal clothing. He also told me that I would look better with nothing on...

Anyways I wanted to be with him the entire day but I had work and I didn't wanna already use a vacation day. So I quickly get dressed and drive down there.

Oh also what I found out, it's his birthday. Cara told me this morning that the celebration for his birthday was at the pack house. Although Grayson didn't bring up his birthday when he told me about the party.

Does he not like to celebrate his birthday? Maybe he doesn't think it's important? All I know is that I have no idea what to get him. Especially on late notice. Cara told me he would like anything I got him since it was coming from me but still. Cara also mentioned a lap dance...

Since he said it was very casual and it's hot out today I put on a simple black tank top. I throw on a pair of shorts with a belt then tie up my vans. Just in case I'm bringing a jacket.

I jump in my car and drive as fast as I can. Knowing that it's his birthday and he didn't tell me makes me upset but I probably wouldn't tell him about mine either.

After awhile I arrive as the sun is setting. When I park in front of the pack house my mouth drops to the floor. Beautiful fairy lights were hung everywhere making the forest look amazing. The pack house was lit up with some people standing outside just enjoying the night.

I get out of my car and walk into the pack house. Every person I pass either bows or says 'Hello Luna' which now I realize is what everyone was talking about before. I suppose werewolf's can smell who their Alpha and Luna are.

"You made it!" Cara says hugging me tightly. I almost fall backwards at the force of Cara but I hit a wall before I can fall. "Of course I did. Why wouldn't I come?" I say with a nervous laugh. Where was Grayson?

"I don't know but I missed you. Grayson has some people from other packs coming over so he's going to have to meet them." Cara says pointing to Grayson that's all the way across the room. I look over at him to see him already looking at me. It didn't look like he was paying attention to the people in front of him at all.

Two women come up to Grayson making his eyes leave mine. I look over to the women to see one of them kiss his throat. After her the other women did the same thing. Why were they kissing his throat? Is he talking to them romantically? I thought he liked me, we're mates right?

"Isabella what's wrong. Your face just got red." Cara says putting her hand on my shoulder. Alex comes over looking at me concerned as well.

"Those women just kissed Grayson." I say softly turning away from that direction. Maybe their... I don't have an excuse.

"Oh look who's jealous. Don't worry it's a wolf thing. It's like saying Hello. You only do it when you meet new people." Cara says calming me down. I still don't like the idea of someone touching him.

"Look who decided to show up after the last mating ceremony." A man says making us all turn around. The guy had paper white hair and a claw scar running down his face. He was kinda cute but Grayson was cuter.

"Don't bring that up again Dominic." Cara says in a annoyed voice. What did she do at a mating ceremony? What even is a mating ceremony?

"Oh, who's this little human." Dominic says walking closer to me.

"I would stay away if I were you. That's Alpha Graysons mate." Dean says showing up out of no where. I looked over at Dean to see him only looking at Dominic.

"Just wanted to meet her." Dominic says before lowering down. Then I realize that's what the wolfs do with new people. I barely show him my neck kinda feeling awkward. Do I have to do this if I'm human?

He kisses my neck softly then stands up normally again. "Well you smell like him. Why hasn't he claimed you yet?" Dominic says getting to close for comfort. Dean quickly puts his arm in front of me pushing me away from him.

"Let's not start a war on the Alphas celebration. I don't think we need blood shed because of your stupidity." Dean says with a growl. Finally making his appearance, Grayson comes up from behind me and holds my waist against his.

"Dominic, I thought you died." Grayson says with a slight growl. Dominic smiles back in response before bowing. "My Alphas Beta found me before I chocked on my own blood." Dominic says with a tight smile. I feel like I'm invading on something personal.

"Why were you kissing my mate? Do you think I was really going to let that slide?" Graysons says with an incredibly serious but somehow sexy tone. Dominics smile falters, probably scared.

"Grayson, I wanna dance." I say hearing the music in the backyard. That's where most of the people seemed to be. Other than some wolfs mingling in here for silence.

Grayson looks down at me but doesn't smile. "Go clean up first." Grayson let's go of my waist so I start to walk to the bathroom.

What do I have to clean up? Was something on my face? I then start to quickly walk to the bathroom scared of having something on my face. Once I arrive I see nothing is wrong with me.

As I'm washing my hands I remember Dominic kissing my throat. Is that what Grayson meant? I clean up my neck then rub the water off with a towel. I guess I forgot about the scent thing.

I walk out of the bathroom to see Grayson standing there waiting for me. I give him a smile as I go to walk besides him but he grabs my arm.

"Thanks for coming." Grayson says softly before hugging my body. He digs his head in my neck and tightens his hold. "Why does everyone think I wasn't going to show up?" I say confused.

"Just everyone lying to you and all this werewolf stuff. I don't wanna make you sad or angry." Grayson says making my heart melt. I wrap my arms around his neck and hold him tighter.

"Happy Birthday." I whisper kissing his cheek. Grayson pushes me away and looks at me with confusion written all over his face.

"Cara?" He says with a sigh then runs his hand through his hair. I nod my head before removing something from my pocket. Grayson looks at the small leather bag, then at me.

"Your birthday gift." I say with a smile. He unties the bag, grabbing the inside of it. He pulls out a small leather bracelet then another.

"This probably seems cliche but the date on the inside is the first day we meet. I have a bracelet as well." I say holding up my arm to show my bracelet. I take his from his hand and put it on his wrist. I almost had to get the biggest size they had.

"God, how did I get so lucky." He says kissing me. He hugs me afterwards before saying thank you. Afterwards we walk to the backyard to dance.

The backyard looked better than the front. People were dancing and drinking. Some guys were cooking on grills and some people were swimming in the pond not to far from the house. Then you had the moms all together gossiping. Of course.

"Let's dance princess." Grayson says dragging me to the large group of wolfs dancing. None of them were wearing shoes.

The music wasn't normal pop or rap music. It was music I've never heard before. Although it made me wanna move my feet. Grayson didn't really dance, he just watched me then would look at his pack from time to time.

I was having so much fun. The fresh air on my skin as I danced felt nice. Being in a bar just felt nasty. I wish Grayson would have more parties like this.

After awhile Grayson said he had to go talk to people. So I then decided to meet new people. Sorta. I was nervous and didn't just wanna go walk up to someone.

"Hey Luna, remember us. From the Lake." I hear someone say. I look down barely to see the kid from the lake. "Luke, is everything ok?" I ask since he randomly came up to me.

"Yeah, but me and my friends are playing tag. Will you play with us?" I look behind him to see his friends all staring at me from a distance. I could barely hear the whispers of the moms besides me.

"Yeah, show me the way." I say and Luke gives me a big smile. He grabs my hand and leads me to the other kids.

"Ok, the rules are you can't hide in any of the houses. Also if you have been caught, you have to either help or sit out. No cheating. Also since your not a wolf like the rest of us, we will give you a flashlight since it's dark out." Luke says at the end giving me a flashlight. How far in the forest were we going?

"You two count. Count to ummm 30. Then yell when your coming. Oh also you can't go far." Luke finishes and everyone starts to run. I stand there not sure what to do until someone tugs on my arm.

"Hide with me." The little girl says. She had blond hair with a pretty pink dress on. She was absolutely beautiful and so cute.

"Alright where to?" I say as she slowly drags me somewhere. "Just follow me." She says putting her finger up to her mouth with a whisper like manner. Oh lord.
