《My Princess》Chapter 7: Isabella

August 29, Saturday

I brush my hair making sure it's extra soft. My curls were perfect thankfully. I applied some pink lipgloss, a natural eyeshadow and left it at that. I wasn't that good at makeup.

I put my dress over my body already feeling it hug me. It's was a knee length plain grey dress that I put with tall black boots. I also brought a sweater just in case I got cold and I usually did.

I run my hands over the dress getting rid of the wrinkles. I stared at myself in the mirror. You'd think with me having a good body I would be happy. I'm healthy and guys like me but I don't want them to. I hate attention. If I wanted a guy I would get one. I just hate being stared at like I'm only here for sex.

I have smaller boobs but my butt was big. My hips included making me have a hourglass body. I shouldn't complain.

I perfect my outfit before leaving the house. It's was 7:36pm and she said be there at 8. I'll definitely be early.

As I arrive to the restaurant I check my makeup in the mirror. First impressions were everything and I wanted everyone to like me.

It was almost time so I decided to go in. A lady in a white shirt and black skirt greeted me. "Are you here with a group tonight?" She asks holding a menu.

"Yes, should be under the name Rebecca or Becca?" I say. I look around but I can't really see anyone that I recognize.

"Oh, right this way." The lady says politely walking away from me. I follow her through tables till we reach another section. Finally I can see Becca with some other people as well as Cara. Cara is the first to see me before I even enter the room.

"Thank you." I tell the lady and she leaves. I walk forward normally until I see him. The man from the other day was here. Like he read my mind, his head turned my way. His beautiful blue eyes skimmed over my body making me feel very judged. Did I look ok?

The only seat open was the seat besides him. Grand.

"You made it! Meet my friends." Becca said as I took a seat besides the man. The era around him was so dark and power, how can someone emit that so powerfully? It was like a punch in the face.

"This is Jenna, Sasha, Sean and Eric. We've been friends since forever. Oh everyone this is Isabella."

I said my hellos to all of her friends. They all reminded me of her. Not shy. The table was set up where the chairs were 4 on each side.

On my side of the table Sasha, Cara, me and the mystery man sat. On the other side it was Jenna, Eric, Rebecca and Sean. Rebecca sat directly in front of me.

"Almost forget, you obviously already know Cara but that's her cousin Grayson." Rebecca says. She then continues the conversation she was just having with Jenna.

I turn my attention to my right to look at Grayson. Grayson was a nice name. I don't think it fit his dangerous look but maybe his personality.

"Nice to meet you Grayson." I say with a smile. He looks slightly down to make eye contact with me. Now that I was closer, I could smell his hickory and whiskey sent.

Grayson licks his lips switching from looking at my eyes and lips. "Nice to meet you Isabella. Beautiful name." Grayson says darkly making my insides move. How was I gonna sit by him all night?

"So I see your new around here, where did you move from?" Grayson says with his husky voice. He had such a deep voice.

"I moved from California. It just wasn't the place for me. Have you always lived here?" I cross my legs over each other and face them towards Grayson's direction.

He looked so scary but somehow, I wanted to know him. I would rather talk to him then Becca's friends. Not that I didn't like them but Grayson looked more interesting. I felt my body pull towards his weirdly enough.

"Since birth, it's a really beautiful place up in the mountains." I nod my head putting a mental note to visit the mountains.

"Hello, what would you ladies and gentlemen like to order?" The waitress asked. I totally just forget to even look when I got to the table.

"Grayson?" I say looking at the menu. I could already feel his gaze on me. "Yes princess." He said in a sultry tone. Why did he call me that? I honestly kinda liked it.

"Do you have a suggestion that I could get to eat. I forgot to look at the menu." I say sweetly, finally looking into his electric eyes.

"Well, I always get the steak but I heard the Chicken Alfredo is good." His leg barely brushes up against mine emitting sparks inside of me. My cheeks redden and I feel my nipples harden. I look back into his eyes wondering if he felt the same thing.

His face was hard as stone and his eyes burned on me but I don't think he felt what I did. That was until I looked down at his tattooed hand that was close to breaking the chairs arm. Could he break it?

"Thanks, I'll take your word for it." I give the waitress my menu after saying my order as well as Grayson.

As we wait for our food, Jenna starts to tell us a story. All of us pay attention as she talks about catching Sean having sex with his high school teacher. Everyone laughed except Grayson. I giggle trying to image what I would do in that situation.

"How many tattoos do you have?" I ask out of no where. I didn't wanna ask to many personal questions yet.

"I actually have no idea. I started getting them when I was younger then lost count."

"Do you remember the first tattoo you got?" I was genuinely curious about this man. He was just so dark and frightening. His attitude and the way he spoke just made me feel different.

"A moon. I got it when I was 18." Grayson then put his hand on top of my chair. His body was emitting heat somehow at the distance we were at.

"You got any tattoos? You don't seem much like the type." Grayson say with a crooked smile. I gave him a wicked smile before pulling back the hair on my shoulder.

"I have this tattoo I got when I was also 18. I wanted to rebel against my mother so I got this heart. It's nothing sentimental. And I have another one on my...chest." The one on my chest was one I got when I was with my first boyfriend. It's like when something happens in your life so you get a hair cut or a piercing but I got a tattoo.

"Aren't you rebellious." Grayson says jokingly. I roll my eyes and take a drink of my water. Music plays in the background of the restaurant barely. I was actually enjoying myself. And I liked talking to Grayson.

It seemed everyone else was getting along at the table. Cara was really spunky and nice. I'm pretty sure we were becoming friends.
