《Once Neglected, Now Protected (Book 2 Completed)》Chapter 6

I am truly sorry about this.
Within seconds, a large raccoon slammed into Naruto with a loud growl.
What ensues could only be described as a battle of Titans. (GODZILLAAAAAAA!)
The raccoon was scrambling for a hold to try and pin the raging eight tailed fox child but it was difficult. Naruto kept twisting and turning, hissing and snapping his jaws trying to sink his teeth into something.
Hashirama, in a moment of seriousness, turned to the other two. "Madara, Sasuke. We need to hurry. Something that could affect Naruto that badly could only be a seal and a strong one. We need to find it and destroy it before he gets loose. The Tanuki is holding him but between a raccoon and a fox, the fox can trump him any day.
The loud growl was all the warning the threw had before the ground next to them exploded sending hard shards of dirt and rocks flying everywhere slicing gouges into their skin.
"We better hurry before he accidentally kills us." Sasuke agreed and they jumped away, racing through the forest at top speed scanning with their chakra for unknown chakra sources in fixed positions.
A few kilometers from the gate that they started in was a large seal, carved into the tree. He whistled loudly, gathering Madara's and Sasuke's attention and blurs followed, landing next to Hashirama as Hashirama studied the seal.
"What seal is that?" Madara asked after a moment. He had a little bit of knowledge about seals, but he was in no way a master like the Uzumaki Clan or Senju Clan.
"That, my dear Uchiha, is what appears to be a rage triggering seal overlapped by a large chakra sensor, with an alarm seal." The more he looked at it, the more depressed he seemed to be. "This is a very very complicated seal. It will take more chakra than I have so I will need to take some of yours."

A loud yelp echoed through the forest. Madara looked in the direction with a scowl. "Hurry." Madara stood still as Hashirama studied the seal for another minute before nodding and grabbing the other two's arms. "This will be a little painful." He warned. Hashirama started the counter seal.
With Naruto and Gaara:
Snapping teeth and large globs of saliva were everywhere. Gaara was in Tanuki form with Shukaku's help trying to keep Naruto distracted.
'This is similar to the insanity seal he took off of us a few years ago.' Shukaku told Gaara who grunted, trying to keep the long sharping teeth of the fox away from his throat.
'So I need to buy time for his friends to find the seal and destroy it.' Gaara replied before wincing as the fox raked his claws along his stomach. 'Why is this so hard?' He whined.
'The nine tailed fox is the strongest of us bijuu and I am sad to say that while I am strong, I am the weakest of the nine. Not only that, but this is an Anbu Commander we are talking about.' Shukaku heaved the fox away, slamming him into a tree.
Naruto stood up, growling ferociously, saliva hitting the ground and creating giant, slimy pools everywhere. He lunged again, but this time he was a blur, managing to sink his teeth into the arm of the raccoon as he raised it to protect his throat. Gaara let out a loud yelp of pain, barely noticing as one of Naruto's paws stepped on Sakura, who was to stupid to move.
Naruto shook his head like a dog trying to tear further into the muscle and skin but Gaara bit him back, teeth latching into Naruto's rabbit like ear.
The whine of pain from the enraged insane fox boy was barely audible but it was enough to make Gaara and Shukaku feel bad. However, it did it's job and the sharp teeth loosened and they were able to pry the fox off.

It took an hour for Hashirama to break the seal and another ten minutes for the effects to leave Naruto. While they were waiting, Naruto's attacks started slowing down and he started to lose tails until he curled up with a pained whine. During the insanity reigned fight, he had forced his body through the pain and attacked the giant one tail viciously. Gaara looked a lot worse because of it.
Naruto threw up a stomach full of blood before slowly looking up at them, a trickle of blood going down the corner of his mouth. "Fucking bastards." He muttered before promptly passing out.
@zach_girlfriend and @Bellea19 I loved those.

Tales From the Terran Republic
We tried, you know… We really did. We tried so hard to be… better… We actually were better once. No, seriously. We were enlightened, generous, peaceful… Stop laughing! We were! We were peaceful, dammit! No, I’m not “tugging your winglets.” It’s true! Look, if you’re going to be like that, I’ll just push the launch button right now. See ya, don’t wanna be… Oh, you ARE interested after all? Ok. Hey, I just got word that your captain will be ok. We were able to get him into a med pod quick enough… Of course, we tried to save him. Just what sort of people do you think we are?... Now that was harsh… completely accurate, mind you… but harsh. Anyway, like I was saying, we were a prosperous, peaceful people, and war had been nothing but a distant memory for over five hundred years before it happened... Before Yellowstone happened! You don’t mean to tell me that you didn’t know about that… massive supervolcano? Blew the Hell out of our planet? Two years where nothing grew?… Anyway, that’s what started it, the Sol Wars… Oh, you have heard about those, huh? Well, needless to say, all that enlightened, generous, and peaceful didn’t exactly make it through the two years of complete famine and the wars that followed… Maybe it’s more accurate to say the enlightened, generous, and peaceful among us didn’t survive… (laughs)… You’re right. It does explain a lot, doesn’t it? Probably for the best, though. “Enlightened” and “peaceful” aren’t really all that useful out here in the galaxy at large, are they? That reminds me; thanks for the ship. You guys did a great job with this one. Oh, don’t be like that. At least it was us what got you and not one of the really messed groups like the Harlequin or the Black Angels. We’re just going to take your shit. It could be worse… trust me... Well, anyway, we loaded the life pods down with some good food, and you guys can drink alcohol, right? We put in a couple of fifths in there, too. It’s about forty percent ethanol, so be warned. Most species will want to dilute that. We’ll drop your wounded off somewhere safe once they are stable. Your fleet patrols this area fairly regularly, and we’ll drop the distress beacon right before we jump… Well, It’s been fun and no hard feelings, right?… Oh, you want to know some more? Sure. I got time to kill… Let me tell you about this one pirate and her crew. They’re Terran scum, but they are still… Why do we hate the Terrans? Hoo Boy… How much time you got? *** It’s the thirty-second century, and humanity is now part of a galactic civilization comprised of hundreds of worlds. Humanity has been savaged by natural disaster and war and has been fractured into several separate populations, all of which loathe each other (some things never change). This is a gritty drama-driven rambling tale that swings between action, drama, horror, and plenty of very, very dark comedy. Warning: contains adult situations, absolutely horrible language, bathroom humor, implied ultra-violence, actual ultra-violence, drugs, alcohol, pirates, mercs, xeno prostitutes, moral ambiguity, deranged AI's with identity issues, giant commie space slugs, and a poor little frog girl who just wants to sell coffee. Updates twice weekly on Tuesday and Friday. *** Note: This story can get rough. Those warning tags? They aren't for show. I recently received a review and as a result I want to make one thing clear. Portraying something is NOT endorsing it! Many "heavy" topics are touched upon and just because a character says or does something does not imply that the author feels the same way. I selected the "Anti-Hero Lead" and "Villainous Lead" tags for a reason. Rule number one of this story is "no good guys". A good description of the story is, "bad people doing bad things to worse people". There are a few good characters, here and there, but they are the exception to the rule. If you want a hard-hitting, exciting, gritty sci-fi story that doesn't pull any punches, or shies away from "difficult" concepts, welcome! If you are set on a pure and noble knight that runs around and slays conveniently evil monsters and rescues totally innocent princesses... or your sensibilities are easily offended... You're not going to be happy with this one.

The Bronze Players of Recreation
The world of Creation has seen a recent explosion of what can only be called an adventurer’s culture over the past few decades. People who were once looked at as nothing more than lower class mercenaries rose to the ranks of heroes and legends as adventuring became recognized as an idealized lifestyle of overcoming hardship and finding triumph. With the establishment of a guild-based government system on the continent of Terramania, adventurers were soon legitimized and adventuring became a phenomenon universally accepted around the world. Redlette had retreated from this world to live on Earth for the remainder of her years, having been born and outcast by the gods of Creation. However, upon meeting a friend that she treasured dearly, she found herself longing for a return to her world—she wanted to experience it properly and go on adventures with someone whom she holds dear. Putting a plan into action, she meets with her friend, an awkward, nerdy boy by the username of Herring who she’d only known through years of playing online games with him, and invites him to go on this fantastic adventure with her. An adventure in another world had always been an impossible dream for Herring, but when he suddenly found himself with the opportunity to embark on one, he knew it wouldn’t be as simple as books and shows made it out to be. Redlette was notorious for rushing into things without thinking them through, and he was flighty and weak. In the games they played together, they rarely grasped victory. They were losers through and through, both in hobby and life. Despite this, though, he takes the leap and sets off with Redlette into the world of Creation. Together they only had one goal: to have fun and go on the adventure of their lives. This time, they’d establish a guild of their own and be free to take on whatever exploits their hearts desired. This is the story of the founding of their guild. Author’s Notes: -My writing style is largely based off of the absurd amount of light novels I’ve read and anime I’ve watched, so it may come off as cartoonish or exaggerative at times. If that isn’t your thing, I’d steer clear of this story.-Not an MMO story.-No numerical stats.-Relatively slow pacing.-Posts are between 2000-5000 words weekly after Chapter 1.
