Chapter 35 - Girl Rule? Nah, Boys Are Better...Ahh Revenge Is Sweet (Day 2)

James' POV

"Aright, does everyone know the plan?" Hayden asked the boys. They all nodded and we prepared ourselves.

"James, you know what to do," he told him. I nodded and headed off to the cabin. We made sure that everyone was well suited up and prepared for battle. I ran frantilly to the girls in my boxers.

"Everybody, wake up!" I shouted in the room. The girls had decided to have a little get together and they all fell asleep in the living room. I heard Zara groan.

"What the hell?" I heard Zara's voice first. I smirked internally, but put on a panic face.

"Hayden and Lucas are fighting. Then Gavin went and broke them up and he's in the fight now to. Now everyone that tries to break them up, either ends up with a broken arm or something," I said. The girls eyes widened as Zara and Karen ran outside.

"Who else is hurt?" Abigale asked probably worried about Conner.

"Well, most of the guys tried to break them up. Most of our pack was injured, as well as and Gavin's pack," I said. By now, every girl was out the door except for Lilly.

"Are you hurt?" she asked me as she stepped up to me. I shook my head and looked down at my arms.

"Just a few scratches on my arm, no big deal," I said to her. She leaned up and kissed me and it took all my strength not to deepen the kiss. Remember the plan. I sighed and pulled away.

"Let's go check on the guys," I said then took her hand and dragged her gently outside. Everyone was by the lake. You could still see the guys fighting and trying to break them apart. I let go of Lilly's hand and went up to them. Logan ran up to me, limping.

"Hey, is everyone here?"

"Yeah, everyone's here," I responded to him, a smile tugging at the corner of my lips. He smiled as well.

"Well, let's get in position. I'm assuming by know Hayden knows that Zara is here and Gavin knows that Karen is here," he stated and I nodded as I followed him. When we were hidden, I pulled out the gun.

"Let's get some payback," I said smirking.

"You got that right,"

"Ready?"

"You got that right," he said then we ran across the field with our water guns.

"Boys Rule!" Logan shouted and started squirting the girls. They shrieked and screamed as the water and paint hit them. I laughed and hit Abigale as she ran away from Conner.

"James!" she shouted at me. I laughed so hard tears were falling out my eyes. Logan was laughing right beside me as he shot Jenna.

"Aright, everyone stop," I heard a voice say. We all froze when we heard Uncle Jerry. Everyone turned to face him. His hands were folded across his chest and he had this stern look on his face.

"Now, cam someone tell me," he said slowly. Then all of a sudden he had a water gun in his arms, "why you guys didn't think about bringing the other packs into this. LET'S GO!" Immediately, we saw everyone run out on the field with water guns. I laughed and covered my eyes as members of the Nixon Shadows hit me with their guns.

"The war is on!" Jerry shouted out, "let's through the girls overboard." Guys grabbed up girls from their pack and ran to the lake, going against the girls protests. That's when all chaos started. Imagine a lake filled with girls screaming and angry.

Hayden's POV

Mid-day....

I sat down at the lunch room with my arms over my face as I reflected on the lake incident this morning. Believe me; Zara was extremely angry that we trick her like that...again. She refuses to talk to me until I apologize.

"Hey dude," Bryon grumbled as he sat beside me. I leaned up and looked at him.

"What's up Mr. Grouchy?"

"Thanks to you and your big plan, Nat refuses to talk to me,"

"Welcome to the club," I said as I sat back down.

"Then go apologize," he said to me, "the only reason that the girls aren't talking to us is because of your stupid plan." Before I could comment, Gavin slapped me at the back of my head.

"Dude, what the hell?"

"Go apologize," he said. I growled at him.

"What's your problem now?"

"Karen won't talk to me until you apologize to Zara and the rest of the Alpha Females for what you did,"

"She told you that?" I asked and he nodded.

"Then why should I be the one to apologize. It wasn't fully my idea,"

"Yes it was," Bryon commented. I glared at him then growled and got up.

"This is completely unfair," I groaned. Then I felt a punch to my left arm.

"Bro, apologize to your girl so I can have mine back," Alexander said to me as he sat down.

"How the hell is Zara letting all the Alpha Females not talk to us? I need my girl," Gavin said. I sighed and closed my eyes.

"Fine, I'll apologize," I finally said, "where are they?"

"In the Cabin A lounge," Alexander told me. I nodded and ran there. When I got there I immediately went upstairs to the lounge. I opened the door and saw all the Alpha Females sitting there playing Uno.

"What the hell?" I said as I entered the room.

"Do you guys here something?" Zara asked as she played. She didn't even look up at me, she just kept playing.

"Nah, only the wind," Karen said going totally with her. Though she looked up and winked at me. I can't believe these girls.

"Oh okay," Zara said as she continued to play. I groaned.

"Zara, can we not do this right now,"

"What's that buzzing sound that I'm hearing?"

"Zara, can we just---"

"That buzzing sound is so annoying. Am I the only one hearing it?"

"Zara---"

"Karen can you whack that stupid bee in the head. It's getting soooo annoying," she said to Karen, who sat there laughing at us.

"I think we should leave?" Karen said to Nat. Nat was laughing as well.

"Good thinking," They both got up and walked downstairs chuckling with each other. I sighed and turned to Zara, who was packing up the cards.

"Zara, can we talk?" I asked standing in front of her as she stood up but she just ignored me. "Zara?" Ignored again.

"Fine, I'm sorry!" I shouted at her, "but when you did the same thing to me the other day, did I get an apology? No, I didn't instead I was laughed at from you and the others for that entire day." She froze but she didn't turn around to look at me. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair, frustrated.

"Fine, don't talk to me," I huffed as I was about to go downstairs when she called me back. I turned around and she came up to me and wrapped her hands around me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't think about that," she whispered in my ear. I sighed and wrapped my arms around her.

"I'm sorry I shouted at you like that,"

"It's fine, I need it. I feel like a bitch," I laughed.

"Well, you're not." She sighed and muzzled her head in my neck. My hands ran up and down her spine and I did the same.

"Wanna go get some lunch?"

"Sure, I'd like that,"

We walked into the cafeteria and saw that most of the packs were here. I wrapped my arm around Zara and dragged us to Bryon.

"Hey, what's going on?"

"Jerry and Becky called this to inform us of the events for the rest of the day," he said. I nodded in understanding and looked up at the mini stage at the front.

"What's going on?" Zara quietly asked me. I told her that it was about the events being planned today and she nodded and focused in front of her. Jerry appeared on the stage few minutes later and all the chatter slowly quieted down.

"Aright, this meeting is because we're trying to find out what the other packs would be interested in. Becky and I already know the Triton's and Redwood's favorite...challenges and games so all we need are some suggestions from the Nixon Shadows, the Bane Creek and the...Midnight Shadows"

"How about a strip competition?" one of the guys from Alexander's pack said, making laughter fill the room.

"Sad to say young man, Zack from the Redwood Pack suggested that idea a few years ago and thanks to Becky, the plan didn't go through,"

"That's not fair; it wasn't an appropriate game then!" Becky defended. I rolled my eyes at their childish behavior. They both started play arguing so I shouted at them.

"Anyway!"

"Oh, shut your mouth Mr. Apology!" Jerry shouted back.

"Whatever old man!"

"I am not old!" he was about to start again but Becky stopped him and took the microphone.

"As he was saying, that idea....wasn't fit at that age and time. Next idea?"

"How about a ...music video?" a member from Gavin's pack asked.

"A music video?" Aunt Becky asked as her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. The girl who suggested in stood up.

"Yeah, it's like...well we could make it a competition. Who can make the best video?" mummers flooded the cafeteria. A music video? What should it even be about?

"Aright, we can look into it some more. Anymore ideas?" Zara raised her hand.

"How about this closet game?"

"Closet game?"

"Yeah, it's this game that Nat and I created. Like everyone just has a bunch a clothes thrown in a closet and the person has to go in and try and select something. You get points if you actually match something and that's how it works."

"That's a really cool game," Abigale commented, "We should do that one."

"Aright, we'll think about it. Anymore?"

"At the thought of clothes," a member of the Nixon Shadows said, "how about a fashion show?"

"Yeah, I think we've had that down from last year, do we Jerry?"

"Yeah, I think we do,"

"Right, so you all love the idea of a fashion show?" she asked. 'Yes' responses rang through the air.

"Ok, anything else?"

"Do you guys have a swing?" a guy from...Nixon Shadows I think...asked.

"A swing?" Jerry asked back.

"Yeah, you know I swing where you jump out in the water or something like that,"

"Oh, Thirsty?"

"Thirsty?" the same guy asked. Both the Redwood and the Tritons laughed because knew what it was.

"Yeah, it's the stupid name we gave for the rope...well the entire area up there," Bryon clarified.

"Oh, ok,"

"Any more ideas teens?" Aunt Becky asked, "You must have some loads of ideas and dreams you would like to come true."

"Yeah, but I don't think those dreams are age appropriate," Zack said smirking.

"Zack, get your mind out the gutter!"Aunt Becky said and we all laughed.

"His mind lives in the gutter!" I said and the laughter started again.

"Anymore CLEAN ideas?" silence followed her statement, "well I guess that's it then, If any of you have any more ideas, feel free to find me or Jerry and tell us. Have a nice lunch you guys." They turned to leave but Aunt Becky came back, "Oh, before I forget. Tonight's event is Karaoke Contest: Girls vs. Boys." Then with that, they left the stage and some music started playing. Karaoke contest?

Lord help us boys.

Zara's POV

The minute they announced that there was going to be a karaoke contest; the girls grabbed my hand and dragged me away from Hayden.

"Nat, what the hell?" I asked her as we sat in the lounge of our Cabin A. She grinned at me then looked at all the girls who followed us.

"Ok, as for our campers before, they all know that we have the winning trophy for karaoke: Girls vs. Boys. To all our new campers, yes, we have the winning trophy since I was in seventh grade. Since all of us were in the seventh grade," Nat said. A few 'whoops' ran through the air.

"Yeah, we own that trophy baby!" Karen shouted and I chuckled at her.

"Ok, having said that, can I see a set of hands showing our best singers?" she asked looking around. A few hands went up and I was surprised to see Karen and Abigale put up their hands.

"I didn't know you guys could sing," I said with a questioning look on my face. Abigale smiled.

"There's a lot you don't know about us because every minute of the day, you're shagging Hayden," she said winking at me. I rolled my eye and decided to comment.

"Zara, put your hand up," Lilly shouted. My eyes shout over to her and silently told her to be quiet. My days of singing were over.

"You sing?" Nat asked me looking surprised. I put my head down in embarrassment.

"Not quite, but I used to in the days when we were---"

"No matter, give us a sample so we can see if your any good."

"Guys, I'm out of practice and all that so,"

"Just sing," Karen said. I groaned at them.

"Guys, I don't want to---"

"SING!" the entire cabin shouted. I sighed and thought of a song.

Shine bright like a diamond,

Shine bright like a diamond,

Find life in the beautiful sea, I chose to be happy,

You and I, you and I,

We're like diamonds in the sky,

You're a shooting star I see, a vision of ecstasy,

You and I, you and I,

We're like diamonds in the sky,

I know that we'll become one right away,

Oh right away,

At first sight I felt the energy of sun rays,

I saw the life inside your eeeeeyes...

So shine bright, tonight, you and I

We're beautiful like diamonds in the sky,

Eye to eye, so alive,

We're beautiful like diamonds in the sky,

Shine bright like a diamond,

Shine bright like a diamond,

Shine bright like a diamond,

We're beautiful like diamonds in the sky.

I reopened my eyes to see their faces, which had shock written all over it.

"You can sing?"

"No, not much...well...I used to but after...I...uhh..." I stuttered.

"You can sing," Nat repeated not asking as a question now, but stating it. I got up and excused myself to go and wash my face. When I came back, some of the girls were standing talking among themselves.

"What's going on?"

"We've decided whose gonna be on the team," Nat said.

"Really?" I asked, "Who?"

"Abigale, Lilly, Jenna, Karen, Maddison, Lizzy, Avery, Dream, you and myself,"

"Wait, what?" I asked, "Who said anything about me going up singing on stage?"

"I did," she replied with a smirk.

"Bitch,"

............................................................................................................................

Later that evening...

We were all gathered around in the cafeteria, but we were separated. Apparently to Natalya, we weren't supposed to be socializing with "the enemy." I laughed when she said this. Becky had just walked on the stage and she checked the microphone.

"Aright, let's get a move on things, shall we?" she said, "for all who still don't know, tonight is our Annual Karaoke Contest, Part One: Girls vs. Boys. Let me hear you scream!" she shouted and screams rang through the air, "As we normally do, the head or leader of both teams gets to come up then we flip a coin to see who goes first. Hope you guys are ready for a fun filled evening. Are you ready?"

"Yes!" few people screamed.

"No, that doesn't sound ready at all, let me hear you,"

"Woooh!!!"

"Now that's better," she said then turned around to Jerry. When they were finished talking, just briefly by the way, she turned back around, "Alright, the coin has been tossed and the girls will go first. Let's hear it for them."

I got up and followed the rest of the girls to the back of the stage. The stage crew gave us all head mikes and we were all ready to go. Nat had told up to wear something seductive and red so most of us were ready for the night of our lives. We practiced our routine all day today so I saw Hayden none at all today. The lights had shut off and that was our queue to get on stage.

As soon as we started singing, the lights slowly came on. This song was sung by Karen and Avery, with the rest of us as backup singers.

I love you, I love you, and I love you,

Baby I love you; you are my life,

My happiest moments weren't complete if your weren't by my side,

You're my relation, connection to the sun,

You next to me, there's no darkest I can't overcome,

You are my raindrops, I am the seed,

With you and God who's the sunlight, I bloom and grow so beautifully,

Baby I'm so proud, proud to be your girl,

You make the confusion for all away from this cold and mixed-up world,

I am in love with you, you set me free,

I can't do this thing called life without you here with me,

'Cause I'm dangerously in love with you, I’ll' never leave,

Just keep loving me the way you love you loving me,

Then the song changed.

Jump, jump, jump, jump, jump, jump, jump,

Tell me that you love me when you know you don't love me,

But I guess, I guess, I guess it's all good,

You can play the game, I’m a still do my thing, ain't no better way for it to be put,

When you fuck them other girls I bet they be wondering why you always call my name,

You think I'm gonna wait around, I ain’t got all day,

You don't need another lover,

Don't you let it go,

I already got it covered,

Let the others know,

If you want it, let's do it,

Riding my pony,

My saddle is ready,

Come and jump on it (2x)

Jump, jump, jump, jump, jump, jump, jump,

We moved around as we quickly got into the position made for the next song. This song now was lead by no other than Abi and Dream.

Jessie J

Stomp, stomp, I've arrived,

Drop the beat, nasty face why you looking at me,

Flyin', flyin', flyin', flyin' through the sky,

In ma ship, I am an alien tonight,

Dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty sucka, you think I can't get hurt like you,

You mothafucka,

I can do it like a brother, dude it like a dude,

Grab ma crotch, wear ma hat low like you (2x)

We can do it like the man'dem, man'dem (hey!)

We can do it like the man'dem, man'dem (hey!)

Sugar, sugar, sugar (2x)

We all falled back, except Maddison and Lizzy who were leading the next song.

In love, in love, in love, in love,

You gotta act like a woman

But think like a man,

You told me your dream babe, and foolish of me I believe it,

Said every king needs his queen babe, that's why you needed me baby

But in between lust and love, you go and mess things up,

Now there’s no we babe, there's just you and there's me baby,

There was us, there was trust,
