Chapter 7- Missing Pieces
Two days later...
Unknown POV
"Where did she run of to?" an angry voice bellowed in the room. The hunters before him tried not to flinch as he spoke to them.
"Are you all so completely worthless that you can't catch one simple girl!" he growled again. The hunter he was standing in front of made a mistake.
"Why the hell are you all so completely---" he was about to say but one among the hunters spoke up.
"B-B-But Alpha, we were trying but she went on the Triton lands and---" he tried to explain but the man growled in frustration and stepped down off his 'throne' to stand directly in front of the man who spoke.
"Do we fear the Tritons, hunter?" he asked. The poor hunter looked down from the Alpha's gaze.
"N-N-N-No Alpha, sir...but we were mostly fearful and...umm...we didn't smell---" the hunter stuttered to explain himself.
"You didn't smell?" the Alpha asked skeptically.
"Yes, sir. At first we were on her trail...and...and then she just disappeared from us. We came to report it to you...or tried to, but men from Alpha Pierce delayed us. Most of us barely got through and---" he responded but the Alpha cut him off yet again.
"So, you hunters are weak?!" he questioned, "am I sending out weak men who do not obey their Alpha?"
"No Alpha, it's just that the Triton pack is the strongest pack in the world and we were quite intimidated by them. We are trying our best to capture her, sir," the hunter stated. The Alpha stayed silent as he walked down the line of Hunters in front of him.
"Strongest pack in the world, you say?" he said silently, "so you men are...intimidated by the Trition pack?" he asked and no one to answer him because it seemed like it was a rhetorical question. Then the Alpha walked back up the line and then stopped in front of another hunter.
"What is your name, hunter?" he asked casually. The hunter stood talk and proud, no hesitations.
"My name is Diego, Alpha," he said. The Alpha nodded as he seemed to be in thought.
"And, Diego...were you...'intimidated' by this strong pack?" the Alpha asked him putting air quotes over intimidated.

"No sir, I believe we could have taken their men and came out victorious," he said. Again this man held no stutter as he answered this man. This obviously pleased the Alpha. He nodded and walked to another random hunter.
"Were you intimidated by the Triton pack?" he asked. The hunter held his head down.
"They were very...strong but---" he was about to say when the Alpha interrupted him.
"Did I ask how strong they were, hunter?" he asked.
"N-No sir," he answered and the Alpha raised his eyebrow and looked at him, expecting and answer for his earlier question. The hunter again looked to his feet.
"They were...yes, Alpha, they were very intimidating. But, as Diego said...maybe we could have taken them," he said. Again, the Alpha nodded.
"Diego, please step forward," the Alpha said, the power over-running of his Alpha command. Diego stepped forward without hesitation. That bothered me. Why was he so...up front? Why did he not seem hesitant about this Alpha?
"Diego, I leave these hunters in your command. Follow the scent and bring the girl to me as soon as possible. Any hunter who does not which to follow in your commands will answer to me. Is that understood?" Alpha said. All the hunters saluted in agreement.
"Excellent, you are all excused. And try to bring the girl in less than two weeks or there will be serious consequences." Oh, yes...yes there will be precious Alpha.

James POV
Sunset...
We were all at the beach, except for Hayden who insisted on staying with the rogue for some reason. I think Conner told us that she was a family friend or something, that's why he's so protected of her. Anyway, I was lying on the sand with the guys when a bunch of girls walked past us...in sexy bikinis.
"Damn," Jonah muttered obviously seeing them too.
"I definitely wanna tap that," Logan said in agreement.
"Hell yeah," I said as my eyes wandered to one of the girl's ass. The way it swayed from right to left as she moved... Man, I gotta tap that!
"I can't wait for the day when you guys stop looking at random girl's ass," Conner said as he shook his head.
"Yeah, that day will never come..." Jonah said and we laughed at him.

"Damn straight, never will I stop looking at girl's ass...well, unless it’s bad ass," Logan said and all laughter seized and we stared at him weirdly. He shrugged.
"What, not all ass looks good, o.k.," he said. I saw Abigale take off her sunshades and looked...no glared at us.
"Can we come off the argument of ass please?" she asked. I chuckled and got up, brushing off my pants.
"Alright, who wants drinks? It my turn to get them anyways," I said.
"Coke," Jonah answered.
"Martini," Abigale said as she put on her shades again. I raised my eyebrow at her.
"When I said I was going for drinks, I didn't mean I would go for one for you," I stated causing Conner to growl. I laughed at him.
"Relax man, 'was only joking," I said putting my hands up in surrender then turned to go to the bar.
"Hey, I want a drink too," whined Logan.
"What...I can't hear you. Umm...bad reception!" I shouted back.
"We're not on the phone idiot!" Logan snapped back. I laughed my way to the bar and then told the bartender what I wanted, and then I saw this girl at the counter of the bar trapped by the guy. Curiosity got the better of me and I found myself going closer and closer to them.
"Ummm...baby, please I don't have the money just...just give me some time, please," the girl said. Her voice was so beautiful. So graceful.
"I told you I wanted the f*cking money, b*tch!" he snarled at her. The poor girl whimpered and tried to get away from him but he held on to her arm very tightly.
"I...I...I'm so sorry Carlos, I promise I will give you. It's just that my pay roll hasn't come around yet," she responded silently as she pleaded to him with her eyes.
"Then sleep with him for the money you f*cking whore, 'cause I need that money. It was suppose to go towards my drinking money," he snarled again. What a douche bag! He only wanted the money for some alcohol on his damn system!
"I'm not going to sleep with him, Carlos. I...I can't. He's married and I know his wife. I can't just---" she explained silently but he cut her off by slapping her in the face...HARD! My wolf boiled in rage and I found myself stepping forward towards then and grabbing the girl out of his arms.
"She said she didn't have the money. No need to slap her in the face," I growled at him as I protectively put the girl behind my back. He growled at me and I saw his wolf trying to break free.
"Hands off my girl, now," he ordered. I growled at him and stepped up towards him, as if I was challenging him.
'Guys, can you come to the bar like now. Alpha trouble,' I notified the guys.
'What sort of trouble?" Conner asked back.
'I don't know...just hurry up over here,' I snapped at him.
"You don't deserve her, so consider that as she dumping your sorry ass," I stated. He raised his eyebrow as if he was amused by me and then looked behind me, towards the girl.
"You sure you wanna dump me babe, remember I have a little...date with your mother," he said as he smirked at her. I glanced back at the girl, not fully taking my eyes off the assh*le. Her eyes went wide.
"Please Carlos, I don't have your money right now, but I promise I will give you as soon as I get it," the girl begged him. He smirked at me and then looked back at her.
"Well, then before I punish you again, come here now," he said trying to act calm, "remember my last punishment at home wasn't so pretty." She cringed and looked down as she nodded and attempted to go back to him but my wolf was protective of her and didn't let her go so easy. So, as she attempted to pass him, he wrapped his arm around her and pulled her back. Electricity flew through my arm and immediately I knew why I was so protective of her.
She was my mate.
My missing piece.

Black Blood (Dropped...)
The multiverse is a big place, and it is also constantly in flux. As such sometimes mistakes occur, impossibilities that should have never come into existence. An aspect of corruption born naturally of a mortal and a divine, a Void that is a singularity instead of a duality, a being that came to be before existence ever was, a forgotten that is not damned, the possibilities are infinite and limitless, and thus so are the possible mistakes in this grand multiverse. But are not mistakes more entertaining to watch? When being reincarnated there are some things that you just cant control. Losing most of your memories is not a great start. Pissing off your patron goddess is not a good follow up. Rounding that out with reincarnating as something not exactly… human… Needless to say this guy is in for an interesting life. the gaang and the fandom
Main cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender react to stuff on the internet about them and their futures. Hilarity ensues. And it's nothing serious. (Most of the time)Kataang, as always.Suggestions are always welcome because I need ideas and I have school.-Why does this remind me of those gacha life avatar videos on Youtube hsihidfvjfbvireuhfnibrahahjajakdnfjnkIt's also pretty funny, because now I see a bunch of similar fics pop up on here - and it's sort of cool to think I created a trend, not to sound too full of myself. The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.
