Chapter 6- Alpha’s Little Girl?

Zara's POV

I opened my eyes slowly caused by the amount of bright light. What the hell? Where am I? I groaned as I tried to get up but there was too much pain in my back. What the hell happened to me? I tried to looked down as I raised my hands but I couldn't move. Umm...ok again I say....WHAT THE HELL? I once again tried to get up but I felt a hand tighten its grip around my waist.

"Maybe you should relax," I heard the most sexiest voice say. The Alpha. I tried to turn to look at him but pain ran through my body. I groaned and closed my eyes.

"Baby, just relax alright. I just called for the pack doctor to come and look at you," he said. If I could answer him right now, I would slap him for calling me that. As soon as he made that statement, the sound of the door bursting open came to my ears.

"Is she alright?" a male voice asked. Hmmm....a very familiar voice too.

"Yeah, she's just in a lot of pain," The Alpha stated, "where's Karen?"

"She's on her way," the guy said. They both sat in silence as we waited on this pack nurse. Maybe they're having a mental conversation.

"No, you don't f*cking have to Hayden!" the guy said out loud. Well, I guess that proved it.

"Conner, can I talk to you outside for a moment?" The Alpha, Hayden growled and then got up out of the bed and went through the door. Conner growled as well and followed him outside. Great, so they leave the girl who can't move, speak or do anything while they go outside and have fun... Hooray, please note the high level of sarcasm.

I sighed and tried to sit up but the pain started. The more I tried to ignore it, the more it ached. I screamed in pain as I sat up fully, and the moment I screamed...Mr. Alpha walked in the room.

"What did I tell you about trying to relax and don't move?" he asked angrily.

"Don't talk to her like that," the guy exclaimed. I was shocked to see someone stand up for me so my jaw fell to the ground.

"I'll talk to her however I wanna talk to her Conner," Hayden growled. Conner glared at him but said nothing because the door opened slightly.

"Well, how is our patient this fine morning?" the nurse asked.

"Well, I specifically told her to not to move but being the stubborn...rouge she is, she never listened," Hayden answered. The nurse looked astonished by his answer but said nothing.

"I see, well let’s see if we can get the pain to go away shall we," the nurse said looking at me and politely smiling. I nodded eager to get rid of this burning sensation that ran through my body. She took out this liquid substance and this needle.

"Ok, just close your eyes and you won't feel a thing," the nurse promised. I smiled politely (or tried to smile) and just as the needle entered my skin, everything went black.

Hayden's POV

I watched as Karen injected my mate with some liquid substance, then she just went black.

"What the hell did you do to her?!" I demanded as I ran up to the bed. I put my hand to her forehead and felt that her fever had decreased. Then I checked her pulse to see if she was alright.

"Relax Alpha; I only gave her that it could ease her pain. She was physically in pain and so was her wolf, so she had to be put to sleep for her body to heal. I mixed some Morphine with this ancient drug called Analgésique for the pain. When she wakes up, she will be in some pain for a few hours, but not too much pain," she said. I slightly relax but what she said to me next made me tense back up due to discomfort.

"So, how the hell did you get yourself a rouge as a mate, Hay-Hay?" she asked' teasingly. I growled warningly at her and tried to ignore her laughter. The only reason she wasn't affected by me (and my awesomeness *wink wink*) was because she was my sister.

"Oh, this is gonna be so much fun. I'll probably write you two a story one day," she said laughing. Oh great, now I'm enteratinment.

"So, when's she gonna wake up?" I asked. She shrugged.

"I don't know, probably in a few hours. It depends on how the morphine is working on her body and how much damage was one; and in her case, it was a lot of damage," she stated then she turned to Conner who was still glaring at me.

"Stop f*cking glaring at me!" I exclaimed.

"Why should I Hayden?! I still don't get why you're behaving like a damn assh*le," he said and that's when I lost it.

One and a half hour later....

I sat there in the guest room, where my mate was, glaring at the floor to suppress my anger when I heard a tiny scream. My head shot up and I looked at her as she squirmed and cringed in her bed. What the hell is happening?

"She's not suppose to be waking up so soon," mumbled Karen.

"What do you mean not suppose to?" I asked as I rushed up to my mate’s bed. Her eyes shot open and she grabbed the sheets as she screamed.

"Karen, do something?!" I demanded her as I stared at the helpless girl in bed. Her screams and pleads became louder as Karen rushed towards her medicine counter she had set up in the room an hour ago incase anything, but she seemed to not be finding something.

"Karen! What the hell are you doing?! Do something!" I shouted at her as my mate made another painful cry.

"Don't you see I’m f*cking trying Hayden!" Karen shouted back as she glared at me and then went back to look for something. My mate screamed out again and my heart crushed to hear her in so much agony.

"Please...stop, please," she cried out. The pain in her voice wasn't just because of what she went through in the basement; it was much further than that. It was like she was recalling this terrible memory.

"Someone, help me...please. Stop, please...I'm begging you" she let out a painful scream "stop...st...stop," she pleaded.

"Babe, what's wrong?" a new voice entered the room and I gritted my teeth together.

"Hi, baby," Karen greeted her mate, Gavin then she ran up to him and kissed him...completely forgetting my mate in pain.

"Hello? Yeah Karen, mate in pain here!" I growled at her impatiently. Gavin growled at me warningly.

"Watch how you talk to my mate Hayden," he said warningly.

"Then how about you leave this effing room so she can focus!" I shouted at him.

"Watch it, Hayden," he warned me again stepping forward, "wouldn't want to hurt your little rouge of a mate, now would you..." he said tauntingly and Karen scolded him but he chose to ignore it and continue. Wrong move..."I mean, what are the odds of you, Hayden...the 'All-Mighty' Alpha -putting air quotes on All Mighty- getting a rogue for a mate. A worthless, stupid, reckless, unstable, b*tch like that for a mate. And don't get me started on what she might have done in her sex life. I mean---" he said but I cut him off. I punched him firmly across his jaw, probably dislocating it, but I didn't care right now. All my wolf wanted to do was kick his ass.

"Hayden!" I heard Karen shouted but I didn't stop. I was fully angry with him forever disrespecting my mate like that...especially in front of my own face. Gotta say the kid has some f*cking balls for wanting to mess with the most strongest, badass Alpha in the U.S.

Suddenly I felt people pulling me back.

'Dude, calm down!' James' voice shouted a me in my mind.

"Get him out of the room! He's gonna shift!" Karen shouted at them. I growled at them, still staring at Gavin as he laid there on the floor trying to get up. He spit some blood on the floor and then met my glare.

James, Logan and Jonah pushed me through the door and headed outside towards the forests.

"Dude, calm down, he didn't mean it. He's--" he was about to say but Gavin came into view and my wolf took over...again.

Conner's POV

Half an hour later...

Karen was still trying to look for...whatever she was looking for while I was trying to calm down...uhh...you guys know who I'm talking so...yeah. She was having a hard time coming out of her nightmare, because she kept shouting 'please', ’stop’ or 'don't hurt me'.

"It's gonna be ok, help is right here," I tried to reassure her but she couldn't hear anything around her...or so we're convinced 'cause she won’t respond. Karen thought she was in a state between a panic attack and a slight coma...though she used some other---technical terms which I'm really not familiar with so I just stuck with my terms.

Anyway, from what I heard from the guys, Hayden completely lost it when Gavin walked out of the house. They had a epic fight and now we know that Gavin had 'ran away' as James put it and went towards his lands. YEs, I said his lands, as in he's a soon-to-be Alpha, but that didn't give him the right to attack our Alpha, yet alone, his brother-in-law.

And now, Hayden had stepped in the room about five minutes ago, and there was complete silence...well, except for the fact that...she...was screaming as she was being attacked by a group of bears or something. Karen had given her something for the pain, so that caused her screams to decrease but not completely. But all the screaming stopped for now because she was asleep.

"Now, I understand completely why her body reacted so fast to the morphine," Karen muttered. My head shot up and I looked at her in confusion.

"What?" both Hayden and I said in union. He turned to glare at me but I just rolled my eyes and focused on Karen. Apparently she was ignoring Hayden so she turned to me and answered.

"Well, it seems that...oh, my grandmamma mentioned something like this to me in a story a long time ago," she started and Hayden scoffed and rolled his eyes, "where one will have the blood of a strong but betrayed Alpha... she...I ran some tests and it clearly says that she has the blood of an Alpha," she said.

"Then, which Alpha is it?" Hayden asked but again Karen ignored him.

"I am probably gonna run a few more test just to see if I'm right," she stated then looked down at her clipboard. Hayden growled at her but she still said nothing. I looked over at him with a knowing look.

'You know she's gonna give you the silent treatment until you apologize, right?' I asked rhetorically. He groaned and put his head in his hands.

'But I don't see what I did wrong. Her boyfriend was being an ass so I straightened him out,' he responded. I chuckled at him and shook my head in amusement.

'Whatever you wanna believe man,' I said to him, 'what I can't believe though is that, although she's a rogue...she an Alpha's daughter. I mean what the hell? She should be living the life,' I stated.

'Yeah, I guess so,' he responded.

'Hey, man...cheer up. You got an Alpha's daughter for your mate. I don't know about you but I would be thrilled,' I stated. he smirked.

'Should I be telling Abigale about these little wants to be with another woman?' he asked cheekily.

'What...I...I didn't mean---' I was about to say when I was interrupted by an angry woman screaming.

"Conner?!" Abigale screamed through-out the house. I groaned and got up.

'I completely and utterly hate you dude,' I mumbled in my link as I passed him to go out the room. He flung his head back in laughter and got up smiling innocently. Please, innocent my f*cking ass!

'Nice knowing you man,' he said and then closed the door in my face.

Man, I am totally gonna get him back for that! I hope rogue girl (yeah, that's what I'm calling her until she tells me her name) is good for him. I mean, who would a thought...she's Alpha's little girl????
