Chapter 5- The Rush
I went to the entertainment room where Natalya and her friends would be spending the night for their little slumber party. What the hell was going through Natalya's mind when she disobeyed my orders?
She doesn't respect us! my wolf said instantly.
And that's the same reason why I had to see her to find out what the hell was going through her mind because one, my wolf was extremely pissed that our mate was in the basement, secondly he was angered by Natalya's actions from 'defying' his orders. And lastly, he was angry with me because I chose to walk away from my mate...well he was more than pissed when I just left her standing there. Not to mention the slap that I noticed on----
"Hey baby," Natalya greeted me as I entered the room, "finally you're---" she was about to say but I ignored her and went to the TV to turn it off. Then I looked at the girls.
"Out," I commanded using my full Alpha command. Some girls looked at me confused while others just looked at Nat.
"Now, leave!" I shouted at them pointing at the door. They were out the door in a matter of three seconds. I took a deep breath before turning to Nat.
"Can you explain to me...WHY THE HELL DID YOU SEND THE ROGUE TO THE BASEMENT?!" I shouted. She flinched and looked down.
"I...I....she disrespected me, Hayden," she said quietly.
I sighed, "You know I don't like when people disrespect me Natalya," I said sternly. Her eyes widen at her full name. Whenever I was talking to her, I always called her Nat or something.
"Hay...Hayden you know I didn't mean to disrespect you, but you should have---" she said but I once again cut her off.
"I don't want to hear any excuses Nat," I said then I sighed, "look, just don't act on anything rash like that until you get facts, o.k.," I said to her. She nodded and ran up to hug me. I sighed and let my arms go around her waist.

"I’m sorry, I didn't mean to make you mad...it's just the things she said to me; they got to me. I'm so sorry," she apologized.
'It's fine, just....try not to---" I was saying but a voice ran through the room.
"Hayden...Hayden!" Conner's voice rang through the room as he entered. I looked up at him.
"Hmmm?"
"I think you need to come down to the basement...now!" he shouted. I raised my eyebrows at him in confusion but I immediately let go of Nat.
"What the hell are----" I was about to ask when he cut me off using our mind link.
'It's about your mate!' he shouted in my head. My eyes widen at him. He knew? He knew that she was my mate?
'How---what---how the hell do you know she's my mate?' I asked him
'Can we talk about this some other time? She's losing too much blood!' he said then left the room, dragging me with him. Blood? What does he mean by blood? I ran ahead of him and went downstairs to the basement. When I got down, I saw all the guards holding down Tom and Lloyd. OK, I was completely and utterly confused now.
"What the hell happened?" I asked the guards. He just shrugged.
"I don't know Alpha, I just got down here for my shift and I then I came and saw all this," he said. I growled and passed him, going to Keith.
"What the hell is happening? And you better know something Keith," I said to him. From the earlier attack with my mate, he was now recuperating a broken leg, now coping with a limp as he walked.
He sighed, "OK, from what I know, Tom and Lloyd where down here as they were being ordered to watch the rogue. Those orders were directly from Natalya. I'm guessing the rogue exchanged some words to Lloyd and Tom, causing them to get angry...so angry that they went in her holding cell and....umm...I don't know, beat her or something."

My wolf was BEYOND PISSED at this moment. Before I knew what I was doing, I was fumingly going to beat the crap out of Tom and Lloyd for ever laying a finger on my mate.
That's when I felt myself being held back. I growled at whoever it was and tried to struggle free but the person...or persons now, were pulling at a harder force.
"Dude, it's not worth it," I heard Conner say as his grip on me tightened.
'Of course it f*cking is! If it were your mate, you would be angrier than me' I responded to him mentally.
"Relax, she need you to go and comfort her now, not AFTER you beat the shit out of the guys," he said and I tried to calm down.
Can you calm the f*ck down so I can go to her? I asked my wolf.
Calm down?! They tried to kill the love of my life and you expect me to f*cking CALM DOWN?! My wolf responded
You don't even know her and yet you say you're in love with her...
Of course I would be in love with her. What makes you...? You know what just go to her because I’m not gonna argue with you right now, my wolf stated. Once I was fully calm, I tugged on my arms to make them let go of me.
Conner was standing there with a knowing smirk on his face while Jonah was standing there confused.
"What the hell was that about guys?" Jonah asked. Conner shook his head and put his arm on his shoulder.
"Trust me, you don't want to know. It’s all waaaaayyyyy to confusing for your pebble sized brain to handle," Conner said laughing at his own joke. I rolled my eyes then when I saw our pack nurse; Karen rushed past us, my face turned back serious.
"Where the hell is she?" I asked Conner.
"She's still in her cell. They're gonna treat her from there," he said. I stared at him in confusion as I walked forward towards the cell.
"Why are they gonna treat her from there? Why not just take her to the medical room?" I asked.
"Firstly, if they brought her up, she would lose more blood, causing more damage to her internal organs which were slightly damaged; and secondly, they didn't want to make their 'Almighty Alpha' angry," he stated. I growled at him slightly but her chuckled and chose to ignore me. My wolf was now angry at him... well more like jealous. Why???
1. Because he chose to ignore me and
2. Because he knew more information about my mat--- the rogue than us.
Stop denying her, my wolf scolded me.
That's the only way. She can never become Alpha Female, I replied to him. Never

Zara's POV
I tried to pull away again but the person groaned and tightened his grip on me. I winced loudly and held on to his hands. I felt a burning pain in my lower abdomen and believe me, it hurt like hell.
"Shit, are you o.k.?" I heard a husky voice from behind me. Right then I knew who it was. The Alpha. The guy who rejected me.
Indirectly, my wolf corrected me, you don't know if that's what he meant by it.
Well it's quite obvious, I said to her. She scoffed but ignored me...maybe she knew I was right, but she let it go for now.
"Are you alright? Did I hurt you?" he asked me.
"Oh I'm just quite peachy, how about you," I said sarcastically. He sighed.
"I....I.... I just didn't want you to get hurt," he said.
"You already hurt me," I said to him as I tried to break free. There was nothing more that he could do to me. He already hurt me... After all, he rejected me.

Evo-Gaming
Evolution based StarCraft story with game-like elements. Everyone gets a good cheat-like system with well design UI and player-friendly system. I get this broken piece of shit Alpha version. Not to mention, that starting at the very bottom is not that fun. Oh well, let's hope things get better later. Warning - If you read this now, you will be essentially beta tester. The story will include biology, chemistry, but will not focus on it too hard. I aim to please both groups but inevitably will probably alienate both the people who dislike the subject and the ones who like it.
