《Protected by BTS》Chapter 50: Childhood Memories

Driving was not your strongest attribute. Hey, at least I didn't crash Seokjin's car! AND I got to Dr. Choi's in one piece.
Rushing out of the car, you quickly ran into Dr. Choi's clinic. A group of shadowy figures patrolled the building, clearly with their guns out. You rushed to the door, being stopped by the large man guarding it. "Leave or I'll shoot you." He growled.
You were not in the mood. "Let me through or else." You gritted. The man grabbed you by the shoulder strap of your dress, ripping it slightly and exposing way too much cleavage. Before he could yell or assault you in any otherway, one of the other guards came to you. "Chan! Let her through, Jesus! That's one of their new members!" The new man bowed and apologized quickly. "I'm sorry, ma'am. He didn't know. Bangtan is inside and we have orders not to let anyone but you and Jin-ssi inside."
You didn't bother answering, too worried about the members as you pushed past the men and opened the doors to the clinic. Hoseok, Yoongi, and Jimin were sprawled out in the waiting room was your first view. Hoseok was hunched over his knees, Yoongi was slouched on the chair, and Jimin was falling asleep.
You immediately ran to the closest one to you, Jimin. His head was bobbing up and down, trying to stay awake. Seeing him and the two others, they were dirty and bloody; however, nothing looked life threatening.
"Jiminie! What happened?! Where's Namjoon oppa or Taehyungie? Or Jungkook-ah?!" You quickly caressed his face, hoping for an answer. "They're in the back with Dr.Choi-nim." His voice was hoarse and soft, "Go help them. We'll be fine."
You were hesitant but Yoongi simply commanded, "That's an order. Go help, the others. They have it worse than we do." He chocked our. Standing up, you nodded and went to the familiar back room.
Jungkook, and Taehyung were unconscious and Namjoon was clutching his side as blood seeped through his clothes. "Oppa!" You knelt next to him and helped compress his wound. He hissed at your contact but forced a smile out once seeing you. "MiSun," he gritted, "you're here?" He clenched his jaw and grunted, trying to stand up You sensed his agony and scolded, "Hajima."

A frantic Dr. Choi burst into the room with a tray of random medical instruments. "MiSun-ah, good! You're here! I'm swamped, these boys really took a beating. I need your help!"
You took his side as he was preparing a variety of familiar tools for surgery. "Anything. Where should I start?" He handed you a surgical thread and a curved needle. "I hope you know how to suture."
"I've seen my dad do it. I'll figure it out." You grabbed the equipment and ran back to Namjoon's side. "That's reassuring." Namjoon muttered sarcastically.
"Don't you trust me, oppa?" You tried to lighten the mood as your shaky fingers prepared the needle. "With those shaky hands? Not a chance." He quipped.
You gave him an unamused look, but knew he was right. "Well, like it or not, you're stuck with me you ass."
"You've been stuck with me ever since I kidnapped you." He simply replied.
"I didn't ask to be kidnapped and calm down I'm nervous too okay? Why don't you talk so the both of us can be more at ease." You removed his hand and started to clean the skin around his stab wound.
That looks nasty.
Luckily, you could see that it wasn't too deep; however, it was long. You'd guess about 8-10 stitches would be needed. Namjoon grunted as your fingers traced around his wound. "Talk? Talk about what?" His voice softened, trying to make the situation any better.
You couldn't help the melancholic smile on your face as you knew what he could talk about to distract himself from the pain. "Tell me a story about when we were kids." You finished wiping the extra blood and disinfecting the area.
With your hands resting on his thigh to stabilize yourself, you could feel his muscles relaxing slightly at your idea. "I...I can think of a few childhood memories we have together."
You nodded for him to start as you started the first stitch. Piercing his skin near the edge, you felt him tense slightly and let out a small grunt. "I remember this one time, we were in the mansion. It was a house our family shared and we had some epic games of hide and seek. You were still scared of the dark but that didn't stop you from winning, you were competitive even back then. I was hiding and you were close to finding me when there was a power outage." He hissed as you tied off one of the lines.

"Sorry," you said timidly, "but continue."
"You started to cry and I felt so bad. After a few minutes, I had decided to let you win. I came out but as soon as you saw me, you stopped crying!" He paused to laugh at the memory, "You had gotten over being scared of the dark already, but you were just acting like a baby to win. I was so mad at you." Namjoon smiled and reminisced.
"Sounds like I was a pretty smart kid," You giggled as you finished the next stitch.
"You were and will forever be a smartass," he added. "Oh and this other time! You had somehow convinced me to sneak into our father's limo. They were going away on some business trip, but you were a stubborn brat and wanted to go. We hid in the back seat and weren't caught until we were an hour out. Our dads were furious," He shook his head, still smiling like crazy, "But they kept us along. We stayed in a hotel room for two days with bodyguards, and we ordered so much room service. When our fathers' came to pick us up, they took us to Lotte World, since it was on the way home. They were proud that we had been able to sneak in without them noticing."
You were progressing faster with your stitches and Namjoon seemed to be in less pain. You must've been getting the hang of it. "And even if those murderers did kill my father, we still had some good memories with them too. When we were young, they always took us on car rides throughout the country. We loved to play on the fields and sit and read books under trees. Won Ho Sung was almost like our personal bodyguard and he made sure you never wandered off to far, being the curious person you were. One time, you had gone on a walk on the grounds, and he and I were worried since you were with us only minutes ago. We split up but I eventually found you in the garden, fast asleep. You were so cute."
"Yah! I'm still cute." You interjected.
"More like, demonic," He rolled his eyes.
You wanted to come up with a snarky reply, but you had finished your stitching. "Well this demonic child just saved your life." You grabbed the large bandage and compression wrap. Opening it up from its sterile packaging, you carefully placed it over his large wound.
"Wait! I wanted to see your stitch job." He whined and you helped him to stand up. "Just look at it later, pabo. You should go lay down in Dr. Choi's office." Namjoon didn't fight back as he allowed you to lead him to the couch in Dr. Choi's office.
You laid him down gently and he groaned in an incredible amount of pain. Laying flat against the couch, Namjoon felt lightheaded. His eyes started to droop and he turned his head to look at you. "Thanks, kid. Let me be, I'll be fine, take care of the others." You rubbed his shoulder and nodded. "Of course, I will. I'll check on you soon, oppa. Thank you for the story, I'm ... I'm sorry I don't remember our time together. But please get some rest." you kissed the top of his head before scurrying our the door and finding your next patient.

Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***
