《Protected by BTS》Chapter 48: The Club

Safe to say, it's been extremely awkward.
Luckily, you've been able to avoid Jungkook for the past few days, despite his efforts to talk to you. You were always preoccupied with hanging out with the other members or you straight up hid from him, which wasn't a problem in this house. You never let the two of you be alone in a room.
However, you were going to hope the best for tonight since you all had to attend Seokjin's new casino club. Jin was a businessman and had many of his own establishments, but tonight he was opening another one.
Seokjin said he picked out a dress for you to wear, since apparently these kind of things are very exclusive and the night's dress code was fancy. You hadn't exactly looked at the dress yet, but you trusted him.
You were in the middle of getting ready as most of the members were already home and getting dressed. Hoseok was surprisingly the first one done, dressed out in an all white tuxedo. Seokjin was wearing a purple button up with a black sparkly suit, Namjoon was also wearing a dark purple and black ensemble, but was slightly different from Seokjin's, Yoongi and Taehyung wore a classic black and white tuxedo, Jimin wore a gray sparkly suit, and Jungkook was in all black.
Most of the boys were done getting ready; however, you were yet to be seen. "Aish, Jungkook, see if that girl is ready already. Girls take a long time to get ready." Jungkook tensed at the task, not sure if he wanted to talk to you alone anymore. He thought if you didn't want to talk about it, then he would respect it.
"That's a little sexist hyung. Take Jiminie for example. He takes over an hour to get ready." Yoongi said as he stood in front of a mirror, fixing his bangs.
"Yah!" Jimin's quack of interjection was ignored by everyone.
"You know I didn't mean it like that," Seokjin grumbled, honestly just wanting to get to the opening of his new club already. "Jungkook, go check on MiSun. We leave in 5 minutes."
Jungkook dreaded the task but he trudged his way to your room, knocking politely once he reached your door. You've been done for awhile, but you had a hard time zipping you your dress from the back. "I'm done!" You called out, still reaching for the zipper on your back, "I'm just having a hard time zipping up my dress... Can you help me?!" You yelled, not exactly sure who was outside your door.

Jungkook looked around frantically to see that all of his hyungs were nowhere near him. Fuck. Was all he thought before opening the door.
"Hey, I just-...." You made contact with Jungkook and you knew the universe hated you . "I'm having a hard time zipping up this dress. Do you mind?" You ask timidly, feeling the tension between you guys once again.
Jungkook nodded, wanting nothing more for things to get back to usual. He walked behind you and your open back distracted him. He grabbed the zipper and zipped you up, finishing your final look.
"Thanks," you smiled softly before looking in the floor length mirror. Your hair was slightly curled and you wore little makeup, but enough to accentuate your eyelashes and your eyes. Your dress was even more breathtaking and you knew you could always trust Seokjin for fashion tips. The black dress was floor length but tight fitting for your body's curves with a slit on the right side.In the middle, was lace and your skin was slightly exposed with small sequences to highlight your waist. The open back and shoulder hanging sleeves only added to the dress's beauty.
You were amazed at how much you liked the dress and Jungkook tried to looom away, knowing you yet again looked way too damn good to be in that dress. "Come on, the guys are waiting. They wanted to leave already." Jungkook walked away. "Oh, okay!" You quickly grabbed a clutch person and made sure you securely fastened the gun to the strap on your thigh.
Then you guys went to the club.
~~~
Upon entering the club, you and Bangtan basically walked the red carpet as bouncers surrounded the building and a line of people were already waiting in line to get inside. "Man of the hour! Jin and BTS! Welcome!" One of the bodyguards led the way and offered you a hand out of the car.
Another man ran up to Namjoon and whispered to his ear. Namjoon nodded and the man and many other intimidating men in suits ran off. You recognized them from a long time ago, when you were kidnapped by the boys at the park. They were the ones who brought you back the Bangtan.
"Is everything okay?" You asked Yoongi, the person closest to you. He nodded, "Oh, yeah. This is just a very big opening and since this establishment is BTS owned, we need a lot of security. A big place like this and an important opening for Jin could be the perfect place for our enemies to attack." He explained.
"How many enemies do you guys have?" You asked as you guys finally entered the building. Seokjin's club was beautiful. Downstairs was the bar wall with tables and couch chairs for lounging and a large dance floor. Upstairs, you could make out gambling tables and private rooms. The whole place was surrounded by purple velvet walls and sculptures of animals. It seemed a little too fancy for a club but you guessed this was also another exclusive building, only certain people can get into.
"We have too many for you to worry about. Just enjoy yourself, we're here to have fun and make sure nothing too exciting happens." Yoongi left to the bar. The members dispersed and you knew just where you wanted to go to first.
You headed upstairs to see the gambling tables and you took a seat. The club was pretty full but not uncomfortably crowded. Sitting at the blackjack table, you asked for a deal in. The staff somehow recognized you, knowing you were part of Bangtan, and gave you chips to play with. The guests gave you a questioning look, as if you were a joke. You were some girl playing in the big leagues with a lot of money placed on the table.
Oh boy am I going to show them.
~~~
The boys were all having their own fun. Obviously, all were attracting men and women by their sides easily. The maknae line was drinking and at first danced on the floor like complete crackheads; however, as they progressively got more tipsy, started to dance with other men and women in the club. Hoseok was also dancing but was now in some corner, making out with someone. Namjoon was doing the same, drinking and flirting with some people at the bar. Yoongi met up with some friends at one of the table booths as they all drank. Seokjin would also enjoy the activities of his club, but he was too busy socializing and making sure everyone was having a good time.
It had been hours and Seokjin finally made his way upstairs. He went to check up on his guests who were betting their money away to see many of them with grim faces.
"My friends, what's with the long faces?" He threw an arm over a few men. They laughed dryly, "I think I'm losing my edge. I've lost so much money." The man laughed and took another swig of his beer.
"Wah, maybe you should become better at gambling," Seokjin laughed, "Who's the big winner tonight?"
"Hit me." You voice said sweeetly as the dealer flipped the card over and the surrounding people watching the intense game huddled to see. They applauded and clapped as you saw the jack of hearts and ace of spades in your hand.
"Blackjack!" The dealer explains and shoved double the pile of chips you had bet to you. Your mountain of chips was high and soon you were going to bankrupt everyone.
"Jin, my friend, I should leave this game while I can. That dongsaeng of yours is crazy." The man stood up and cheered his glass. "I like the new club, I'll come to gamble here whenever your dongsaeng isn't here," He laughed before leaving the table.
Jin immediately came to your side, almost slapping you on the back, "Yah!" You said in exclamation, almost falling off.
"Since when have you been so good at gambling? You're going to bankrupt me!" Seokjin exclaimed and you laughed. "I told you I would beat you in some game, remember?"
Seokjin scoffed, "We were playing Mario Kart pabo! Stop being so salty and stop winning so much, you'll make me lose money." He pouted.
His phone buzzed and his demeanor changed as he answered it. You decided he was right, and you went to go cash in your chips as he followed. Seokjin spoke lowly into the phone so you couldn't make out anything.
While receiving your new earnings, Jin hung up and had a worried look on his face. "What's wrong, oppa?" You sensed his distress and he rubbed the back of his neck.
"The members just left. One of our warehouses was attacked."
