《Protected by BTS》Chapter 45: The Rings Part 2

"Get off of me," you used all of your strength to push him away. The man was taken back but willingly let go of you. You made your way to the bar and the man followed intently.
"Let me at least buy you a drink, sweetheart," his arm wrapped around your torso. You rolled your eyes in anger, not understanding how eager he can be. The bartender was finishing up a dry martini for another patron; however, you quickly grabbed the drink and threw it in the man's face.
The surrounding people laughed and the man gasped in disbelief. He clearly wasn't used to rejection. You had to admit, he was pretty good looking, but you weren't interested.
Either way, he was beyond angry. "Why you little-"
"Jongsuk, that's enough." Another man pulled the man back. You watched as the new man started to scold the one harassing you. "Jongsuk-ah. Why are you always causing trouble? Hm? I feel like I'm your hyung all the time." The new man said and you couldn't put your finger on it, but this man seemed oddly familiar.
"Well, if you were a good dongsaeng, you would let me do what I want." The one who harassed you, who seemed to be named Jongsuk, backed down.
"Well, I'm the one who writes your paycheck so you best do what I say." He playfully slapped Jongsuk's cheek and then took an empty seat at the bar. "I'm sorry about my hyung, he's a bit of a playboy. And he doesn't take rejection easily. How about I buy you and your members drinks, darling?" Jongsuk and the mysteriously familiar man finally sat down. You stood in between their two seats as they called the bartender for more drinks. The new man ordered bottles of soju and other hard liquors and slapped a few bills on the table to pay.
As soon as the bartender left, you spoke first. "Uhm, thanks. I could have handled your hyung though." You tried to stay confident.
The man laughed slightly and turned to look at you. He was also quite handsome but there was still something too familiar about him. His clothes were all designer and you could guess that he was a chaebol or something. The jewelry on his person was too flashy but he held a sophisticated posture. "I'm sure you could handle yourself. The Bangtan boys are quite the dangerous group and with you being a new member, you gain lots of attention everywhere you go. It's best that you not draw attention to yourself, huh Misun-ssi."

How does he know my name?
"I'm sorry, it seems that you know who I am but I don't know you." You tried your hardest to be passive aggressive. Jongsuk chuckled, "Sweetheart, almost everyone knows who you are at this point. It's not common to see Bangtan with some girl. I'm curious as to what you are to them." Jongsuk smirked.
"Chill, hyung." The man hushed him and continued, "I'm sorry about him again. But yes, you do have quite the reputation already. Anyways, I'm Hanbin. We met awhile ago at the race J-Hope was in. There was some sort of explosion that day, so I'm sure you remember."
"Oh!" You suddenly remembered meeting the man. "Yeah, I do remember meeting you, Hanbin-ssi. It's nice to see you again and doing okay after that explosion. It was pretty hectic." You confessed.
Just then, the bartender came and presented the bottles of drinks Hanbin had ordered for you and the members. "Thank you! I should get these drinks back to my members then. Maybe I'll see you guys again." You politely smiled. You grabbed the drinks but were stopped by Jongsuk.
"Hold on, why do you have to go back to Bangtan?" Jongsuk suddenly wrapped an arm around your waist again and pulled you to sit on his lap. You hastily placed the drinks back on the table, not wanting them to spill. "I think you'll have more fun with me. I can pretend that you didn't throw that drink at me earlier because you look pretty hot when you're mad." His grip tightened and Hanbin rolled his eyes.
You tried to pry out of his grasps lightly before you did something rash. "Let go of me."
Hanbin barely intervened by saying, "Not every girl wants you Jongsuk, let her go."
Jongsuk didn't answer, letting his hand travel to your thighs. Using all your force once again, you were able to rip his arms away from you and before he could react, you sucker punched the hell out of him.
The loud crunch of his nose breaking satisfied you, even though your fist was throbbing. Hanbin stood up abruptly, trying to calm the situation down as more people started to notice, ignoring the cage fight.

"You little bitch." Jongsuk held his nose as he took an intimidating step towards you. You froze as his hand went up about to strike you when another force pulled Jongsuk back.
Jongsuk fell to the floor with an intimidating Jungkook on top of him. "Are you about to start a fight outside of the rings? You want a fight? Fight in the cage." Jungkook growled.
All of the attention was on you guys now, even the cage fight had paused and you could see the other members upstairs running down to help the situation.
Somehow Yoongi reached you guys first and pressed a hand against Jungkook for him to step back. "Hanbin-ssi," Yoongi said to Hanbin as he stepped in front of Jongsuk. "Long time no see. What's the problem here?"
"Suga-ah, I guess my Jongsuk got a little carried away. Just a little women troubles I guess," Hanbin laughed and Yoongi kept a stone cold face. "Well, I guess we can let them handle it the way men should. Why don't they settle it in the cage?"
"Sounds good to me." Jungkook piped up from behind and Jongsuk agreed.
"Then it's settled. Here," Hanbin grabbed the bottles of drinks he bought you guys, "Drinks on me for you boys. I'll apologize for this little mess but we'll let the boys figure it out in the cage."
Taehyung came up from behind you, scaring you as you were too engrossed in Hanbin and Yoongi's conversation. You jolted slightly from his voice as he whispered, "Come on, let's go back upstairs." Tae pulled you and you received even more stares from everyone in the building.
Yoongi and Jungkook stayed. "We'll take you up for the drinks," Yoongi said nonchalantly, making sure his dongsaeng, Jungkook, kept calm. "But for future reference," Yoongi stepped up and his voice deepened, "I would advise you to stop harassing our dongsaeng, MiSun. First it was at the race and the second time it was here. For civility sake, we can forgive these two coincidences. But I assure you the next time, I won't be so forgiving." He said clearly as a threat.
Hanbin tried to hide his scowl and Jongsuk, hot tempered as ever, was ready to start throwing hands.
Yoongi stepped back, dusting off Jongsuk's shirt in a mocking manner and throwing him a nearby napkin from the bar. Jongsuk's nose was still bleeding from your punch earlier and Yoongi couldn't be more proud of you. "You might wanna clean up before the fight." He mocks and grabs the bottles of alcohol. "Speaking of the fights, I'm sure everyone would like to get back the fights now. Jungkook-ah, lets go."
Jungkook quickly asked for an ice pack from the bartender before flaunting back upstairs with Yoongi.
You were already upstairs, being scolded by the members. "What the hell was that?!" Namjoon hissed lowly, not wanting to make a scene. "MiSun-ah, you can't mess around with those guys. They aren't our enemies but they are certainly not friends of Bangtan either. You could've started-!" Seokjin was whining to you until Yoongi stopped him.
"Hyungie, it's alright. Let her be." Yoongi saved you from them. Jungkook right away knelt to your side, examining your fist. It was still throbbing, never having punched a person let alone so hard. He hid a proud smirk and rubbed your bruising knuckles, "Not bad." He placed the ice pack onto your hand, knowing that your fist hurt. "Keep it on there, okay?"
You nodded, thankful for the cold comfort.
"It wasn't her fault. It was that asshole Hanbin and his cousin Jongsuk. You know how they get." Jungkook told the group.
Namjoon clenched his jaw and sighed, "I guess you did good kid," he pat your head and you let him. "We're sorry. They're just not people we want to mess with, try to avoid them next time, araseo?"
You nodded, "Trust me, I'll avoid them. But let's get these drinks started!" You easily lightened the mood as all the members reached for the new bottles of alcohol.
"Agreed. Pour me a glass!"
