《Protected by BTS》Chapter 22: Racing

You were in the backseat while Hoseok drove and Yoongi was in the passenger seat. It was already night time and you guys were driving in a decked out Toyota Supra. Hoseok said it was a new car that he wanted to test drive at the race.
You guys had pulled up to a sectioned off track a few miles outside of town where there was already a small crowd of people and various cars that were decked out as well.
You could hear music blasting, cars revving their engine, and the blaring sound of conversation even before you got out of the car.
When your guys' car pulled up in front of everyone, a path was made for you guys.
Bangtan was no joke and when 2 members showed up, it always meant that it was going to be a good race night. Hoseok parked the car next to the first row of cars as you all got out of the car. A group of people had already started crowding around you and you could feel your introverted persona screaming on the inside.
Yoongi and Hoseok greeted and talked to some of the group and you stood there awkwardly as if no one could see you. Yoongi and Hoseok could sense your awkwardness and pulled you closer to them and stood in front of the hood of the trunk.
"Ah! J-Hope!" A group of girls pushed through some of the guys that had come to greet them. "Suga!" Other girls squealed and you rolled your eyes again. From the side another group of other guys came to the three of you and you did not falter in feeling uncomfortable.
Wow these boys are popular.
Hoseok and Yoongi leaned against the side of their car, but put you in the middle of them. They were talking to a few people in their group and you just listened to the conversations.
"J-Hope," one of the girls on Hoseok's arm whined, "You and Suga should come party with us at YeongSin's tonight! The girls and I miss you, you haven't been to any of the races lately."

"AHH, sorry I cant, I have important businessu." Hoseok replied.
Another group had approached you guys and you could see just how popular these boys were. You just listened to the boys conversations but didn't understand most of it. With the guys they talked about parties, cars, races the boys had missed, and the girls were being very desperate for Yoongi and Hoseok. However, you started to realize how many people were staring at you.
You unintentionally huffed out loud and crossed your arms. The more you looked around, the more you could sense the eyes of those on you. You wondered if this was a normal occurrence for them. "Is it always like this?" You muttered to yourself and Hoseok heard you.
"What do you mean?" Hoseok answered.
"I don't know. Whenever you guys go, people look scared or they just stare. It's very rude." You said biting your lip in nervousness, not used to being in these kind of situations. Usually people never noticed you, but right now, it seemed to be the opposite.
These boys bring too much attention that you've never received.
"Oi! Stop staring!" Yoongi glared at the crowd of people who were still looking. You smacked your head, Oh My Gosh Min Yoongi! But it worked and the people bustling about staring at you had turned their gaze to the floor and to the empty track.
The group of men that your oppas had been talking to went very silent after Yoongi's loud objection. They couldn't help but look at you.
You gulped and turned your head to face the other direction. When you turned your head, you had noticed a new car beside you guys. The roaring of the crowd, music, and other cars had made everything blend together and you had a hard time grasping the details of this new setting.
The driver from the new car next to you guys stood up and walked to Hoseok and Yoongi. This driver had an entourage of his own and girls under his arms — something you suspect Hoseok and Yoongi would be doing if you weren't there.

You were confirmed in your suspection when the driver spoke to your oppas.
"Hey, boys. Long time no see? Since it's been awhile why don't we bet something more interesting?" The man smirked and made a move to release the girls from under his arms and then used his free hands to wrinkle out his black button up shirt. This man seemed to be more cleaned up then the rest of the people here. The attire of the crowd mostly consisted of a somewhat grunge, dark look, which was why you were wearing a tight crop top with ripped black jeans.
Hoseok dapped the man up, "Ah Hanbin-ssi it has been a long time. But that is very interesting and I'm listening, what kind of bet did you have in mind?"
The man was a couple feet in front of you now when he walked towards you and pushed a hair behind your ear. You were frozen in confusion from not understanding who this man was, what bet he was talking about, and why he was touching you.
"We can trade girls. The winner gets them all to themselves for tonight." Hanbin continued to stroke your long hair and Yoongi pushed him off of you before he could do anymore.
"Sorry, not happening." Yoongi growled out and stepped in front of you.
Hanbin stumbles back a bit and sarcastically chuckled while brushing himself off. His girls and his entourage surrounded him as if a fight was going to break out.
The atmospheric yelling started to grow louder and a starting bell started to ring to signify the first races. This had only made the scene more dramatic since most of the attention was directed towards you guys.
"What's the problem, man?" Hanbin spit out and glared towards the three of you.
Yoongi sighed and calmed down, "My bad."
Hoseok joins in, "She's our dongsaeng so if you have any other interesting bets I'm open ears. But if not, then let's just enjoy the beginning races."
Hanbin smirked and seemed to put on a fake smile, "Nah, it's my bad guys. My apologies. But you're right, for now let's just enjoy the beginning races."
The tension cleared and Hanbin's group moved closer to their cluster of cars. You sat on top of the trunk as you watched cars moving out of the way and many of them starting at what looked like the starting line. People made their way into the cars or on the sidelines to watch and bet.
A somewhat large group of people still surrounded you and your oppas as you watched the race commence.
You watched as 5 cars sped off at the sound of a gunshot in the air. The adrenaline built up in your own stomach as you watched them race around the perimeter of the old track, cut each other off, swerve around each other, a car's tire blown out, and within 2 minutes, had come back to the finish line.
The winning car received prize money and an adoring applause once the driver stepped out, Then not too long after, another set of cars replaced those and other drivers raced each other. This happened throughout the whole night. It was a very fast paced system in which a group of cars raced and then were replaced with even different drivers and cars.
By the end of the night, you've watched way too many cars blow out, cars hit each other head on, and the winning drivers making it out with their treasures of women, pink slips, and/or group of people adoring them.
Yoongi and Hoseok spent most of the time talking to you about what was happening during each race while conversing with the group around them. You continuously wondered about their popularity and reputation.
You broke out of your thoughts when Yoongi and Hoseok held a hand out for you to help you get down from the trunk of the car. You took it and easily slid off the trunk hood.
"You ready for that race now, J-Hope-ssi?" Hanbin strutted towards you guys again with a big smile on his face.
And for some reason, you had a dreadful feeling in your stomach.
