You regret it.
Shopping with the boys was a nightmare.
Hoseok continually brought you racks of the most colorful clothing, Jimin grabbed the most expensive clothes, and Taehyung couldn't make up his mind when giving you outfits.
All you wanted was new underwear.
But not too long after you continuously rejected all the clothes they handed you, they ended up looking for clothes for themselves.
Yoongi was right.
Honestly, you wanted to get this over with so you can go back to their house and do some research. Your father was still out there somewhere and you were going to find him.
After 2 hours, you had grabbed enough clothes to last you. You made sure not to forget underwear and bras, seeing that you've been wearing the same ones for a gross amount of time. The boys took another hour to which you patiently waited and observed them.
"That's all you got MiSun?" Hoseok asked in confusion. "We're paying, don't worry. Actually it's Namjoon's money but he's freaking rich, get some more clothes!" Hoseok grabbed random things off the aisles and handed them to you. "Here!"
You were struggling to carry everything but luckily the boys had decided to finish. You thanked the boys as you walked out with 3 bags of new clothes. Jimin, Taehyung, and Hoseok walked out with many more bags than you did.
"Let's stop by Dr. Choi's office! I forgot
I have to drop off his paycheck." Hoseok reminded.
"Who's Dr. Choi?"
"Oh he's a good friend of ours!" Taehyung smiled. "He's a doctor."
"You just give your friends paychecks?"
"Not exactly. He's more of a business partner but he's still also a friend." Jimin explained.
"Come on, let's meet him." Hobi said and started driving once you all got in the car.
It wasn't that long of a drive until you guys pulled up to a doctor's clinic. The clinic reminded you of your own father's clinic and memories started flooding in once again.

father's office, that night, the gun shot, father ...
The boys were all walking inside when Taehyung noticed your frozen figure outside the door. "Hey, you alright?" You snapped out of your thoughts and nodded. Following them inside, you noticed the office barely had any patients. The boys directly walked to the back of the clinic through the hallway and you had another flashback of the hallway in your father's clinic.
The image of Bong Soon, your father's secretary, burned in your head. Her body was cold and lifeless on the floor. You stumbled as you could see her blood pooling around her fresh corpse. Her thick, red blood pooling in front of you.
Your hand held onto the nearest wall for support before stumbling. This had caught the attention of the nearby nurse and the boys.
"Oh, sweetie, are you alright?" The sweet older nurse had ran to you. The boys surrounded you and were ready to catch you if you fell again. "Y-yes. Just dizzy," you replied in a short manner.
"What's going on here?" A tall and older male doctor appeared from one of the examining rooms.
"Oh, Dr. Choi!" Hoseok greeted with a smile.
"Doctor-nim!" Jimin had said at the same time.
"Hello, boys." Dr. Choi joined into the cluster and looked at you. "Are you alright ma'am?" He bent down to your level.
You were getting the hang of being able to control your breathing before you pushed yourself into another anxiety attack. "Yes, thank you." Was all you could muster out saying.
After a few moments of the doctor scanning over your body for any signs of illness, he sighed, "Why don't you go into my office? I'll meet you and the boys over there during my next break in about an hour." He patted Jimin's shoulder before leaving. The nurse left also, leaving you with the boys again.
"Come on," Jimin had tried placing your arms over his for support but the physical contact made you flinch. The close encounter of another panic attack had you on edge. Jimin flinched as well, not expecting that reaction from you. "I'm sorry, I just wanted to help." He said shyly and you shook your head. "N-no, I'm s-sorry."

"His office is right there. Are you sure you don't need help, MiSun-ah?" Hoseok bent down to your level as you stood up straight. Shaking your head, "I just want to lie down for a second."
You followed them into the office as they stayed close just in case something happened. You couldn't help but wonder why these boys were so caring. You had just met them and they were also not exactly the 'friendly' type, or so you assumed. Being part of a gang and being gangbanging mobsters in Korea doesn't exactly scream 'friendly' to you. But you started to retract the stereotype because of the whole shopping situation. They reminded you more of sweet 7 year olds rather than gang members.
There was a couch in Dr. Choi's office which you had laid on and the boys sat on the other chairs while watching you. Everything reminded you of your father and his clinic -- it brought back that night. You slapped your head repeatedly, trying to get those memories out.
"Yah!"
"Stop that!"
They interjected and you stopped hitting yourself. You were tired of these constant anxiety attacks and exhaled heavily. The boys scooted closer to you in attempt to talk to you, but you were too busy thinking.
You shut them up, "I'm fine, just let me be for now, please." They understood and quietly returned back to their seats. You placed your head in your hands as you focused on pushing away your memories. The room was silent as you stayed in your thoughts and the boys interchanged between going on their phone and looking at you.
Before you knew it, Dr. Choi came into the office. It didn't feel like an hour to you but everything seems so fast paced nowadays.
"Hey, what did you guys need?" He announced informally before taking a seat next to Taehyung and throwing his arm around him.
"We just came here to drop off this check." Hoseok handed him the slip of paper from the back of his pocket. Dr. Choi took it with a "thanks," and placed it on his desk.
"Also, can you give MiSun a check up? I don't think she's been feeling well lately." Taehyung said without looking at you. You frowned at him because who were these boys to know who you are and how you're feeling.
"Oh, is that right?" Dr. Choi had walked up to you now and crouched in front of you.
You brushed off Taehyung's comment, knowing that you can be mad about it later. But truthfully, you really weren't feeling great lately, obviously. With a sigh, you nodded. "I'm just exhausted that's all doctor."
"Nonsense, let's talk about it. I'm sure it's more than just exhaustion. When those boys brought you in a few days ago, you weren't in the greatest condition either."
"Excuse me?"
"You were unconscious so you wouldn't remember. But those boys brought you here because you had fainted. You were somewhat dehydrated and exhausted. They also had injected you with some very powerful and fast acting drugs which overloaded your system." Dr. Choi explained and you could see the embarrassment on all of the boys faces.
You mouthed an 'ahh' in understanding.
"So Kyoung MiSun, I'm Dr. Choi. I'm an old friend of theirs who helps them out when they need it." He held his hand out for you to shake and you took it.
"Old friend, huh?" You let out a little smile.
"Yeah, I was friends with RM's father when he was still alive. I also knew your father, MiSun-ah."

For a time, the Painter's life was simple. He lived in the small town of Kinon (called Kinney by locals) with his wife, Kahriah and his son, Thesdon. The story begins with him alone and unable to travel more than a few hundred miles from his home. For 5 years he tried to chart his prison until one day a letter appears with a mysterious commission that will see him test his condition and his boundary. Set roughly 50 years before the impending end of days (from Loot canon), The Painter is a story about loss, grit, and exploration of a seemingly normal man in a world of magic and monsters. The Painter will follow the man on his adventure to restore his family, uncover his commissioners and discover the nature of his condition.
