《Protected by BTS》Chapter 6: Taking Care of MiSun

By the time Namjoon had finished explaining everything, you were all in Seoul. The boys had brought you to their personal doctor since people with their status couldn't exactly walk into any ordinary hospital or clinic. Dr. Choi was a friend of theirs who had always helped them when it came to medical attention. You were still unconscious on the medical table as Dr. Choi examined you.
"How many times do I have to keep telling you boys? I can't have you all in the room." Dr. Choi said lightheartedly. "But you're always so eager for each other, who's this girl? Why do you care so much enough about her to bring her here?"
The boys stayed quiet, knowing it wasn't their place to say. Namjoon ignored his question and just pushed everyone out of the room, "Sorry, we'll be outside then."
Dr. Choi always closed his clinic at times like this. So all the boys waited in the waiting room unsure of what to say.
"Hyung, are you okay?" Jimin asked comfortingly.
"Why didn't you tell us all of this before?" Hoseok added.
He sighed and threw his head onto his hands, "I didn't think it was important. I thought it ended all those years ago... but I guess not."
Minutes went by in complete silence before Dr. Choi came out again. "Okay, boys. She's fine, just extremely exhausted and dehydrated. Whatever drugs you gave her seemed to have overloaded her system and it's like she almost overdosed. She needs plenty of IV fluids and give her water when she wakes up. I don't think she'll wake up for about another 12 hours. Anyways, I'll write you some prescriptions for her."
They bowed and thanked him.
"So are you going to tell me who she is?" Dr. Choi dropped his professionalism and playfully punched Jungkook.
"Another time, I really think we should just get her home." Namjoon said before having Jungkook carry you out. "Thank you, as always."

The car ride back was more lighthearted thanks to the members, but Namjoon stayed quiet. The car stopped in an underground garage of an office building. From there, they took the elevator to the lobby, went into a secluded office where another elevator awaited them. This elevator led to their secret penthouse in which Bangtan lived.
Once they got back to the penthouse, Namjoon instructed, "Just go about your days as usual. I'll stay home and watch her. Jungkook, could you just put her on my bed? I have a lot-"
"Uh, hyung? I can watch her tonight. I'm sure you have a lot of work now that she's showed up and I feel really bad about treating her so horribly and hitting her. I didn't think she was actually innocent and just a normal civilian. I want to take care of her, you have enough to go through. Plus, I'm the only one that has a couch in my room so it'll be easier."
"It's okay, really it is. It's my problem and my fault that-"
"Stop it. No it's not your fault. We're all here to help. If it's a problem for you, it's a problem for Bangtan. She'll mean as much to us as she does to you." Taehyung said happily.
"Also, it would be bad if you spent all your time worrying about her. There's 7 of us to do that. We can all take turns watching her. So you need to calm down. I can stay with her and Jungkookie tomorrow." Jin assured him.
Namjoon nodded at his hyung and Hoseok put a hand over his shoulder. "Thank you guys. I have a lot to figure out. There's too many unanswered questions still but I will get some more answers once she wakes up. Let's just all try to get some sleep."
The boys departed and went to their respective rooms. Namjoon made sure you got into Jungkook's bed alright. He even offered to stay on the couch and Jungkook could take his room, but Kook refused. That boy could fall asleep anywhere anyways so the couch would be fine.

Once Namjoon tucked you into the bed and made sure you were comfortable, Seokjin helped him with inserting the proper IVs into your arm. "Goodnight, guys." Seokjin left the three of you in his room. Namjoon was about to follow and decided to take one lasting look at your unconscious figure. He could only think about how long it's been and how much you've probably changed. He didn't know you anymore but that doesn't mean he wasn't going to treat you like family again. He decided, then and there, he was going to make sure mistakes of the past would not repeat themself. Namjoon didn't want to lose you again.
~~~
It was morning and Yoongi was up making breakfast for everyone. The boys had slowly piled onto the chairs beside the kitchen counter awaiting their food. The boys dig into the food as soon as Yoongi placed it in front of them.
"Namjoon, we have to go take care of those shipments with Shiyuk." Yoongi reminded. "Aish, that's right." He answered while taking another bite.
"Oh that's perfect! Jungkookie and I were supposed to go workout and then head to the Rings later but we're staying to watch the girl, right Jungkook?" Jin involuntarily volunteered the both of them.
"Uh-uhm yeah?" Jungkook replies startled that he'll have to care for you for another few hours. It's not that you did anything bad, it's just strange to be watching over some stranger he just met.
"Jungkookie would love to help since he already feels bad enough for treating her so bad. Isn't that what you said last night?"
Jungkook only nodded in embarrasssment and continued eating.
"Jiminie and I are meeting up with some guys in an hour but we can be back sometime after lunch. We'll bring you guys some food," Taehyung smiled.
Namjoon looked less tense, "Thank you guys."
The rest of breakfast was lighthearted before they all left the house. Seokjin went off to play video games in the gaming room on the other side of the building, since it was such a massive penthouse. Jungkook stayed in the loft, which was outside of where his room was just in case you woke up.
A couple of hours had passed and it was almost lunch time. Jungkook made himself tea and thought to make you a cup as well, knowing you should wake up soon. He peeked his head into his room and saw your sleeping figure still connected to the IV.
He closed the door with a small thud and somehow that woke you up. Your eyes squinted to the bright light shining from the large floor to floor window. Upon closer look, you realized you were in some bedroom. It was plain yet aesthetic with black and white interior designing. The room was very large with the bed being in the middle and the couch being pushed against the side wall.
Where am I?
Your adrenaline kicked in once again as you remembered nothing. The last thing from your memory being when someone had injected you on that train. You didn't even remember collapsing or telling them anything.
You went to stand up but felt the IV still in your arm. You hissed as you carefully removed the medical tape and needle from your skin and stood up. A wave of dizziness hit you once more but you tried your best.
You stumbled to the open window and looked down, realizing you were about 40 stories into the air.
"Damn." You muttered to yourself before you heard footsteps from outside the room. It came closer and closer until the steps stopped at the door.
Tales from the Triverse
Tales from the Triverse is part detective drama, part fantasy adventure and part space opera. I’m influenced by the likes of Iain M Banks, Isaac Asimov and ND Stevenson and work including The Wire and Gotham Central. It begins with an incident two hundred years ago which crashed three parallel universes together. Portals open up in 18th century London, sending England down a very different path. We pick up events in the 1970s, with the Metropolitan Police having established a new department to handle portal-related criminal activity. The story is about intolerance, immigration, multiculturalism and power. It’s about what happens when incompatible viewpoints are weaponised to seed discontent, and the efforts of some to create a fairer world. In the tradition of the best science fiction, fantasy and crime fiction, I’m using the setting to examine themes that matter to me in the real world. Who is it for?If you like science fiction or fantasy, or a mix of both, this is for you. It’s my first foray into crime fiction, but I hope if you’re a fan that you’ll enjoy yourself - especially if you’re looking for something a bit different. I write fiction that is optimistic, progressive and empathetic. Bad things can happen to good people in the stories, but the overall arc tends to be hopeful. Note that if it were a movie, Tales from the Triverse would be a 15 certificate in the UK.
Hi I don't know if this is satire/ironic or not, all I know is that I've been on a Total Drama kick and I spent the last half hour sending crappy Cody fanart to my friend.
