dad, t-dog, andrea, and shane went out the next morning to get dales body and check the perimeter for any more walkers.
wanted no part in it. i didn't sleep at all last night and i just want to be by myself today.
once they got dale buried, we had a memorial service for him. dad and i stood at the very end of the group.
i was holding his left hand and had my head wrested on his arm. i was still in shock about the entire situation. dad leaned over and gave me a kiss on the top of my head while rick was saying a few words.
"rae, we're all movin' into hershel's house. i need ya to help me with some things" dad said peeping his head into the tent. that's where i've been all morning. i gave him a small nod and exited the tent.
we joined the conversation that rick was having with hershel. rick thinks there will be too many people in the house but hershel insists that we all stay there together.
"t-dog, i'm gonna need you on double duty along with daryl. reagan, you can join in if you'd like" rick said. we first got on the bike together to ride it up closer to the house. i wrapped my arms around his torso but kept my head up. i ended up going with dad.
i helped him board up the barn. i tried to ignore the fact that there was a person inside. neither of us said anything while doing our job. there was really nothing to be said.
i looked over the map while rick and dad were planning on where they're gonna drop off randall at. i'm not going with them, i just wanted to get a sense of what they are doing.

they waited a little while until they left. they got the light blue ford all ready to go. "ready?" rick asked walking over. "yeah" dad said grabbing his crossbow and putting it in the passengers seat. "i'll be back soon. stay with everyone else. i love you" he said putting his hands on my shoulders. "i love you too" i said with a sad expression on my face.
he pulled me in for a hug. "i'll be alright" he said while i was in his arms. i nodded and let him go.
t-dog went to go get randall and i stayed by the truck as he did. t-dog came running back with a worried expression on his face. "he ain't there" he said once he reached us. i looked at dad wide eyed.
"go inside and keep your bow ready" dad said pointing towards the house. i nodded and ran in.
i stayed by the door keeping a look over everything. everyone came running into the house once rick spread the news. t-dog and i kept the main watch. but everyone else was also ready for everything that could head our way.

Mists of Redemption
In the twenty years since the Gates opened and began releasing hordes of monsters onto Earth, half the human population had been killed, governments collapsed, and a new breed of enhanced humans evolved to protect us — Hunters. The day after I graduated from high school, I tested positive as a Hunter. The weakest Hunter in human history. In a society where the strong rule and the weak become prey, it was a death sentence. I knew that, but I wasn’t going to just roll over and die. Pitted daily against monsters I couldn’t kill and ostracized by other Hunters, my miserable existence changed when I heard five words. ‘I will make you stronger.’ A ‘System’ attached to my soul, one that allowed me to level up and become stronger. But the ‘System’ wanted something from me. All I wanted was to live and enable my family to eat. The price was to become a tool for someone else’s revenge. The House Husband's Multiverse Fueled Journey From Mediocrity
"What existed before the Big Bang?", "Why are 7/11 taquitos so good?", and "What lies at the boundaries of our universe?" are all questions that have forever haunted the best and greatest minds humanity could offer. Questions which we may never hope to understand. At least, not until the ever expanding Multiverse beyond rips apart the boundaries we once had and absorbs our own little slice of Greater Space. In our return to relative civilization, how will humanity fare against the innumerable denizens of the countless stars beyond our own? Will we even survive our home planet, now refurbished with the mystical energy of the cosmos? John Mermous, house-husband-cum-author-cum-father, has absolutely no idea. But, if sci-fi space magic and annoying fairies can keep his daughter safe and reunite his family, he'll take whatever he can get. Beast Dao Cultivator
Hundreds of thousands of years ago, the world was at the peak of its era in the pursuit of power and knowledge. People ascended to the heavens and returned, walking amongst mortals. Great Buddhists, Evil Demons, Heavenly Celestials, Unfathomable Sages, Riders of Grand Majestic Beasts, Beloved Beings of Nature. Countless kinds of beings rose and fell. Countless kinds of method to ascend were known but a sudden change in the world changed that. Pandemonium spread throughout the world and countless grand races and even grander sects and organizations fell. The huge surge had come to an end as each race went to one place or another to hide, higher beings ran to the higher realms to hide from the destruction of the lower realm. Countless deaths in all races happened and many are said to have been pushed to extinction. Today, the world has regressed to what can be called a mediocre shadow of what was once a massive power that ruled the world. The races have each slowly crawled out of their holes and slowly spread their numbers once more, rediscovering what was once lost. New sects were born, clans spread, nations rise and war once more appeared. Still the catastrophe had not only drastically changed the world but the energy of nature. Where once all kinds of power filled the air all over the massive planet no longer did this power appear. Instead the grand energies seemed as if something had snuffed a huge amount of it, now the areas were each energy appeared each possessed different kinds of energy. One region could simply have Qi, another could have Qi where each area within a region had specific element to it, there was mana which permeated the air in other regions, Spiritual force in others, infernal energy in another and so each massive region slowly claimed their own resource and their growth slowly diverted only towards these energies. Only there was one type of being that could survive and grow in each and every kind. The most mysterious which were all called Riders. Beings who were one with their mounts born for each other and cultivated together.
