"Hey man you ready to go!"

I put he cameras in a bag tonight me and my roommate Corey are going to an abandoned warehouse to do a video for my very successful YouTube chanel.

"Yup coming!"

He came to the kitchen we got in my car and started our journey.

**time skip**

We got to our destination

"Dude this is creepy" we pulled out my camera and did our intro

"What's up you guys colby brock here with corey. We are going to explore this abandoned warehouse today"

"And try not to die. "

We easily found a way in

" dude that means other people could be in here keep quiet and your ears open"

Corey nods and we walk in. It was this open space we messed around most of the night until we heard a noise. We froze in fear and looked at each other

"We should go dude" we heard small whimpers coming from the right corner of the room.

"What if someone needs help " I whispered

"We could die"

"Im going to help" i walked closer to where the soft cries were coming from.

In the corner we saw someone in a little ball crying.

"Colby we need to go" i shut off my camera And crouched down

"Hi. Its OK we can help you. we won't hurt"

They stayed there for a while

"What's your name?"

"Colby let's go "

they spoke.

"S-sam. don't hurt s-sam sam is good boy"

"Corey whispered in my ear"

"It could be a hybrid "

I ignored corey. he obviously is scared

"Hi sam. im Colby this is corey "

"Colby s-smells like a g-good person"

It is a hybrid. I've heard of them they are all over the news. half human half animal made in a lab one day. owners abuse them and leave them on the streets all the time

"Can you come out so we can see you sam?"

"S-sam scared"

"There's no need for sam to be scared. Are you hungry"

He hesitated

"Yes"

"If you come with us we will get you some food do you want that?"

"Y-yes but s-sam scared"

"Why is sam scared?"

"Him" I looked at corey

"H-he smells l-like bad person"

"Corey won't hurt you right corey"

"Right" he mumbled.

"Colby promise" he came out. he was a boy with blonde hair and ocean blue eyes. he had blonde almost white cat ears whiskers and a tail his clothes are very ripped and old and he smelled like he hasnt took a bath in a while. He had marks all over his arms and face I felt bad

"Want to get food now" he nods

And limps to me

"What's the matter?"

"S-sam got in fight with other hybrid"

"Theres more of you?" Corey piped in

"Y-yes we come here a lot. T-this is a big dumping ground f-for hybrids."

I feel so bad i want to take him home. and others as well.

"Colby cary s-sam?" I giggled

"If sam wants yes"

He was super skinny and was as light as a feather. I picked him up and walked to our car and put him in the back While putting his seat belt on.

"Where do you want to go to eat sam?"

"I don't know. s-sam only can h-have cat food s-says old master. s-sam a animal. Animals eat animal food"

I frowned and looked at corey

"Well with us sam is human and gets to eat human food"

"Oh boy. s-sam is excited. s-sam has always wanted to try h-human food. old bad master came h-home with some and it smells s-so good"

"Do you remember one thing you always wanted to try?"

"He w-would bring home these t-taco things and it would h-have a big bell on the b-bag"

"Taco bell?" corey asked

"Yes"

"Let's go to taco bell then!"

We got to taco bell honestly not my favorite place but its what sam wanted so we went through the drive through since sam didn't have us under his papers we could be in big trouble for having him with us.

We pulled up to order

"Do you know what you want sam?" He shook his head

"Surprised m-me. " i smiled.

"Uh hi can i have a crunch wrap supreme with a water. "

"Corey you want anything?"

"Nah I'm good bro"

"Thatll be it thank you "

I didn't understand what intercom lady was saying. it was a bunch of mumbles so I just went to the first window and payed praying she didn't see sam.

Then to the second to get his food.

As well waited sam was practically jumping out of his seat

he was so cute.

The lady gave us his food and I pulled over to give it to him. and man he ate it in seconds.

"You were hungry I guess" he nods enjoying his last bite

he then fell asleep in the back of the car leaving me and corey to talk"what are we going to do with him. He's all bruised up I don't want to take him back to that place. "

"He can't stay with us"

"Why not we have a extra room. I'll give him some of my clothes"

"Colby he isnt under our name if anyone found out we will be arrested"

"Come on corey. i never ask for anything. i never have people over. tomorrow morning I'll get his papers can we please keep him "

"Ugh fine. but your telling Elton it was your idea. not mine"

I was so excited.

I promise sam nothing would hurt him. i want to keep that promise.
