"𝐊𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬"

"Roman,"

Her fingers cling to my arm as she tries to drag me outside with her.

I wrap my arm around her waist to keep her from falling and continue to follow her out.

It's been a good two hours, and Arabella was now heavily intoxicated.

It was more entertaining to see her jump around and attempt to sway me to join her.

She whined that I wasn't being any fun and then apologised right after for being harsh to me while hugging me incessantly.

Not that I minded.

She slipped out of my grasp and staggered straight to the backyard. Her body landed flat on the grass.

"Roman, come lie with me," She said, her lips displaying one of my favourite smiles.

I took a seat next to her. Her body shifted from the ground and into my lap, her head resting on my thigh.

"You're so handsome," She mumbled and lifted her hand to my cheek.

My lips drew into a little smile against my will. She never fails to amaze me.

Her curious gaze followed along with my features as I did the same to her.

The colourful lights that flashed within reflected onto her face.

Silver eyes, which seemed to shine beneath my gaze, were filled up. Plump lips that were completely scarlet from the drink she had consumed.

Golden skin appeared silkier and sharper.

Her beauty was something I could never get used to, and wouldn't ever be able to. She was completely ethereal, whether she knew it or not.

The hand on my cheek had moved to my lips, her fingers brushing against them as her eyes moved along with her motions.

They then proceeded to mine.

Her lashes were brushing against the bottom of her brows, and her eyes were glistening.

"Kiss?" She whispered, her fingers coming under my chin and attempting to pull me towards her.

I chuckled and leant in to peck her on the cheek. She encircled my neck with her arms and enveloped me.

"More please," She exclaimed, turning her head so that my lips were angled against her cheek.

This was, without a doubt, the most amusing sight.

"Where?" I questioned.

She pulled back and raised a finger to her forehead, "Here,"

She smiled giddily as I pressed my lips there.

"And here," She added, pointing to the centre of her other cheek.

I did exactly what she said and laid my lips there.

She then directed her finger to the tip of her small nose and I compelled my lips there and she giggled, the sound like melodies to my ears.

"Last one," Her voice whispered flawlessly.

Pointing to her lips, she puckered them daintily and I nearly smiled.

Pressing my lips to hers, she kisses me softly.

The brief kiss was irresistibly alluring. Every touch and every word she uttered was electrifying and enthrallingly irresistible.

She had captivated me above all. I wouldn't admit it out loud, but I had a slight feeling that my affection for her was deepening with each passing moment.

Even when she wasn't with me, I felt this... aching or this strong desire to be with her.

Unwillingly, her presence soothed me. Nonetheless, I was drawn to her, the angelic radiance she exuded.

She was unexpected.

I had no notion someone like her would enter my life and turn my long-dead soul back into a balanced light.

This girl was the catalyst for all of my reviving emotions. It was, however, exclusively for her.

I felt nothing. The only time I did feel was with her or for her. And I would only allow it for her, and it will remain that way until the end.

"Roman?"

Her voice jarred me up from my stupor. Her silvery eyes gleaming brightly.

I stared down at her, my untamed hair falling in front of my eyes, and I started to push it back reflexively, but she beat me to it.

Her delicate fingers ran over the locks and pushed it back, which had only done so little.

She smiled.

"You're perfect," She said, her fingers gliding over my skin.

"For me." She continued.

I rolled my eyes inwardly as my heart was beating in an abnormal way.

Her comments had a detrimental effect on me. They always did.

She stretched up and kissed my cheek before lying back down on my thigh.

"Can we leave now?" She asked.

I looked at her and nodded. She grinned and started to stand up, but she paused and glanced over her shoulder.

"But," She stated emphatically, "I want to stay with you."

She reddened as I smirked.

As she tried to stand, I got to my feet and supported her so she wouldn't tumble.

Her drunken state was unpredictable, so I wouldn't know when she would relapse.

We strolled back inside the house, her arm around my torso and mine around her waist, maintaining at her speed.

Landing back at the car, I opened the passenger door with one arm while the other was preoccupied with holding her.

I lifted her into the car and secured her with the seatbelt.

"Do you have my phone?" She exclaimed tiredly.

I retrieved the device from my pocket and handed it to her. She thanked me with a smile.

Closing the door I jogged to my side, before I could get in someone called my name.

Turning around I see Arabella's friend, Kara, I believe.

She folded her arms across her chest and narrowed her eyes as she stared at me aimlessly.

"Take care of her, yes?"

I looked at her coldly and nodded once - resisting the urge to roll my eyes.

"Good. I'll tell her brother she went back home,"

She turned around and walked back inside, I proceeded into the car and switched on the engine.

"I don't want to go back to my house,"

I cast a glimpse at her; she was leaning against the window, her gaze focused on me.

"Oh!" She exclaimed and jumped in her seat, "Can we go to your place?"

Her gaze on me compelled me to respond almost immediately. I nodded, once.

She sat back in her seat, her legs crossed beneath her, and clapped her hands gleefully.

"I've never seen your house before," She wandered, her gaze flitting back and forth between the cars we sped by.

"Is it big?"

Her hands flew to her mouth and squealed, allowing a breathy laugh to leave my own.

"The house," She added, her face flushed.

I smirked, knowing exactly what was going on in her head.

"You'll find out," I replied as I turned into a side street.

"Fine," She exhaled deeply and then began talking aloud about how she imagined my home to be.

Everything that was said was completely false.

However, I allowed her thoughts to roam in whatever direction it chose.

"I'm dehydrated," She gasped deeply and slumped in her seat, her palms over her forehead in a dramatic gesture.

We came to a stop at a red light, and I gave her a blank look, trying to hide my genuine amusement.

She opened one eye to glance at me, then quickly closed it again.

"I could be dying right now,"

I scoffed lightly and sped through the green light.

"You'll be fine baby,"

She pouted and rose from her seat, her hands darting to my free hand and tracing the skin.

That was how it proceeded for another five minutes. When I arrived at the gates, they immediately opened and the guards stepped aside.

Her eyes glowed brightly as she let go of my fingers, utterly engrossed in whatever it was.

"Oh Woah,"

As I drove down the lengthy driveway, I came to a complete halt in front of the entryway and parked the car there.

I stepped out of my side and walked over to Arabella's, where I opened the door.

She hadn't noticed my presence yet since she was still looking around with her curious eyes. I unbuckled the belt around her waist, and she jolted.

"I love your house," She murmured precisely as I lifted her up and out of the car.

I kept her still as I closed the door and locked the car.

"I can't walk anymore," She whimpered, her arms limply lifting.

Shaking my head at her, she smiled innocently as I lifted her into my arms.

She squealed and put her arms around my neck to keep her stable as I drew her into my grasp.

"Thanks," She placed her head in the crook of my neck and kissed the area.

Ignoring the tingles, I stepped directly through the door that the guards had opened.

Her head snapped away from my neck, her hands clutching my shoulders fiercely, and her eyes darted throughout the room.

"Mhm, I like it a lot," She murmured into my ear.

While I led us up the stairwell, she continued to glance about.

I got into my room, turned on the light, and shut the door with my foot.

"Oh, I like your room too,"

"It's very light, and— Woah," She cut herself off as I set her down on the bed, "I'm glad you're not a messy person, that wouldn't be too good for me. I'm a bit of a slob at times." She was rambling and staring at the television in front of the bed.

I went into my closet and rummaged through a drawer in search of a shirt.

"Can we watch a movie together, Roman?" Her voice rang out from the other side of the room.

I walked over to her with the black shirt and hummed again.

"What movie?" She asked and I lifted her from the bed, placing my hands on the top of her skirt and silently asked for permission.

She nodded enthusiastically and continued talking while I dressed her.

"So, we've got a few choices. We could watch Harry Potter, which is my favourite, but I also love The Avengers. But it's up to you. So what do you prefer?"

I stared down at her, her eyes wide with wonder as she looked up at me.

Fucking adorable.

"Whatever you want," She huffed in response and lifted her arms.

"No, you have to tell me which one you want to watch,"

I pulled her shirt over her head and tossed it to the side, before I could place my shirt over, she stopped me.

"Take this off as well, please. It's uncomfy," She whispered and cupped her bra with her hand.

I nodded and stared into her eyes as I unclipped her bra and tossed it to the side.

"So, which one is it?" I mustered a smirk in response to her eager question.

I pulled her arms into the sleeves and let the black shirt fall over her thighs.

"Avengers," I replied.

"Yes! See, this is exactly why you're my boyfriend," She exclaimed and slid into the bed.

Scoffing, I tossed her clothes into a bag and placed them aside.

As I walked back out, I grabbed the TV remote and handed it to her then turned around and headed back to my closet.

I dug through my belongings and replaced my clothes with a pair of sweatpants. I walked back into the room after setting my laundry aside.

Discovering Arabella sprawled out on the bed in a starfish position, I retained my laugh.

The movie was paused, assuming she was waiting for me. I returned to her after turning out the light.

She looked up and slid across to get under the blankets. I moved in beside her, not missing the way her obedient eyes pursued my chest.

She scooted over and threw her arm over my torso, flinging her leg in between mine.

As her soft cheek landed on my side, I wrapped my arm around her waist, drawing her closer to me.

The feel of her smile against me was embracingly reassuring while I unpaused the movie.

With her eyes fixed on the television, her fingers on my other side began painting patterns on my chest.

I watched her - far more engrossed with her than anything on television. Her dark locks trailed after her, past her shoulders and onto the bed.

The covers were suitably coiled around her body, enveloping and warming her curves. The low light from the television glistened in her grey eyes.

Her lips parted in awe as flashes of varied colours reflected off her features.

I averted my gaze, leaning back in my position, reflecting on how perfect she was.

Perfect for me.

Throughout the week I don't get to see her often, I don't have to attend college, it was purely a concept for others.

For now, all I needed to do was focus on my duties. Taking classes was the only other thing I did, and when I did go, it was solely for her benefit.

I hadn't realised it before, but now I did. It was the only reason.

When I returned my attention to Arabella, her attention was locked on me. The silver glistening and my heart racing obnoxiously.

She raised her head once more, reaching for my cheek and pressing her lips against it.

"Thank you for looking after me," She said softly, her lips brushing mine.

A small smile came to my own, I reached up and kissed the corner of her mouth, and then looked into her eyes.

"Always."
