《Lowkey》Chapter 10

"𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞"
The plush touch of her lips pushes against mine.
Her lips move slowly against my own, as though savouring every touch and taste.
I kiss her back with the same intensity, the curve of her body pressing up against me, making the urge to strip her of the little clothing and take her right here.
But, I wanted to take my time with her. She drew my attention as no one else had before; the reason could be the instantaneous warmth she brought with her or the calming tranquillity.
Our lips danced gracefully together, her tongue gliding across my lips, and I let her in. Our tongues start colliding at a faster and more desperate speed now.
Her delicate hands were in my hair, running through and tugging at the strands while she kissed me passionately.
Our heated lips heightened the pleasure within me; this girl, more than anyone else, had the ability to turn me on, by simply the way she moved or walked just held some sort of power over me.
I put my hands under the back of her thighs and raised her, pinning her against the wall, as our bodies connected perfectly now.
Her lips break free as she gathers her breath, her legs wrapped around me and our arms curved around each other. I continue to trail kisses. From the corner of her lips to her prominent jaw, trailing down to the tender column of her neck.
The hunger inside me clutched tightly as a breathy moan fell from her fragile swollen lips, and I ached to hear the sound again. She tilted her head back, enabling more access to her neck and I proceeded to kiss and suck on the silk of her skin.
Her own hands roamed around the back of my neck and ran through my hair. My hands roamed around the back of her thighs, gripping strongly on the soft skin and causing her to reflexively buck her hips.
Both of her hands came around to my face, lifting my head and urgently pressing my lips to hers again. My senses were engulfed by the flavour of strawberry, and I inwardly sighed at the sensation. Her soft, full lips moulding with mine and her body pressed into me more.
I wrapped my hand around her throat, pressing her deeper into my mouth.
Trailing my hand up her thigh and onto the curve of her cheek, I squeezed and she gasped. "Roman," she whispered, a giggle escaping her lips.
Clenching my jaw from the ache inside me, it took everything in me not to flip her onto the mattress and fuck her senseless.
She was captivating, and I could see why she was a vixen: her alluring figure drew anyone and everything to her. It merely revolved around her, as if an aura surrounded her silhouette. It was easy for her to attract anyone and entice them into her delicate grasp, and it seemed to work on me involuntarily.

We both pulled away, her eyes closed as her head was back against the wall and she bit her bottom lip, my own eyes darkening at the sight.
I pulled out her tucked bottom lip with my thumb, tracing over the swelling plump flesh, and her eyes opened, the luminous grey colour memorising me once more.
"Don't do that in front of me, Ella,"
With a devilish smile on her lips, her head lifted and pulsated towards mine.
"And why is that, Roman?" She mused, her tone teasing as she moved her gaze from my lips to my eyes.
So fucking tempting.
I smirked, her seductive matter amusing me but still working, I leant closer to her, my lips brushing the side of her neck and bringing them to her ear, "Arabella, the things I'd do to you, would just leave you begging for more," my voice unintentionally came out much deeper and lower.
I felt her thighs press against my sides and her eyes clouded a little.
"Why don't you then?" Her soft voice came out curious as she tilted her head, and it made me nearly smile.
"Soon. I want to take my time with you,"
Her eyes flashed with something unfamiliar, but then returned to their normal light, and she nodded, leaning her head on my shoulder.
As she left her head in the crook of my neck, her lips placed a feather-like kiss against it, suddenly stirring a tingle sensation to race through my body, I wrapped my hands around her waist and held her in place.
"You wanna get out of here with me?" She asked, lifting her head to meet my gaze.
I held back a smile and nodded, a happy glint in her eyes returned and she slowly pulled away.
I placed her to the ground gently, she adjusted her skirt and ran a hand through her dark hair, my eyes following her every movement. Everything she did was like an alluring sensation.
"I'll go out first, wait thirty seconds, and then come out. I'll be outside." She says.
I leant against the wall, amused at her demands; she appeared to enjoy control.
It's too bad that I enjoyed it more.
She smiled and turned to open the door, leaving it partially open as she retreated down the hall.
I followed her instructions, lingering for about a minute before striding out. Fucked if I knew what she was doing to me, I hardly knew the girl but the way she made me feel was something new.
Whether it was just desire and genuine attraction, I knew something else was there, and I won't deny it unnecessarily. Everything she did, from her smooth silky voice to her demanding seductive motion, had my undivided attention.
I was getting closer to the exit as I walked through the crowd and then my arm was gripped. I clenched my fist in irritation, I fucking hated it when I was touched, but Arabella didn't seem to have the same response.

I stared down at the hand before raising my eyes to the person. Haley, the obnoxious girl who can't seem to accept no for an answer, stared longingly at me.
"Where are you going?" She asks perplexed.
"Leaving?" I reply keeping my eyes away from her.
I see her pout; the girl has tried to get with me on several occasions, but I simply refused; her father worked for me, and I don't mix business with pleasure.
I take her hand in mine and pull it away from my arm as I move around her and out the door.
Arabella is sitting on the railing, her legs swinging off the edge, watching them dangle.
As I approached her, she seemed to sense my approach and turned her head. Her silver eyes gleaming as she spotted me, she smiled and clasped my hand in hers, raising herself from the railing.
"Which car did you bring this time?" She smiles, glancing at me.
I reach into my pocket with my other hand, digging around for the keys until I reach them. I handed it to her and directed her to open the car with a nod.
She smiled as she pressed the button, her gaze falling on the black Bugatti Veyron.
"Mhm, I like this one," She mumbles guiding us towards it.
I shake my head at her, a breathy chuckle escapes my lips.
I watch her hair sway with her body naturally as she walked. The black soft curls bouncing with every step she took, and her short frame, small, standing in front of my tall height.
We made it to the car and I opened the passenger door for her, and she enters, quietly thanking me.
I turn back and get into my car, which I start and drive out of the area.
"Where are we going?" She asks, her head tilted to meet mine.
"Surprise," I mutter.
I see her look away with a curious expression, her eyes wandering around the window as we pass numerous cars.
✰
I guided us to where I intended to take her, her arm linked through mine.
She took in everything and everyone around her as she gazed around the place in admiration. Arabella looked as innocent as a flower, you wouldn't even think twice about the certain things she does.
When we stood in front of the structure, I watched her eyes light up, a gentle grin plastered on her lips, and an exciting bounce came into her step.
"I've always wanted to go here!"
"I've just never gotten around to it," She murmurs taking in the large space as we walk through the arched doorway.
Grand Central Station's whispering arch, famed for its whispering walls.
She takes it all in, little of people around, and her eyes had then discovered an empty space, directing us there.
"How does it work?" She asks turning to me.
She frowns and stares at the wall as I take her towards an arch.
"Stand here," I say as I move away from her.
"Close your eyes and lean against the wall," I say coldly, and she nods, doing as I instructed.
I walk away from her, going to the opposite side of the wall, licking my lips and leaning against it. I lit a cigarette and place it to my lips before speaking into the wall.
"Ella," I quietly say her name.
I smirked and inhaled the smoke as an astonished gasp was heard from the other side, followed by a giggle.
"Oh Woah, this is amazing Roman!" She says in amazement.
"Have you done this before?" She asks me.
A pull of a smile nearly forced its way onto my lips as I remembered my first time coming here.
"Only once," I tell her.
"Oh really?"
I hummed, "Yes, with my younger cousin,"
"She wanted to visit the best place in New York, so I took her here."
"Why here?" She asks curiously.
"She was born blind, and her favourite thing to do was listening to the things around her, to sort of... grasp her sights," I say, "So, I took her here,"
I could feel the smile on her lips, "That's sweet, Roman,"
I inhaled again letting the smoke grip deeply into my lungs, and I heard her sigh.
"What now?" She whispers softly.
I exhale the smoke, glancing down at my shoes, "Talk to me," I say.
And she does. Her silky, soft voice, articulating her thoughts. Her voice was calming to me, as though it brought a feeling of tranquillity to my soul. I could listen to it for a century and never get tired of hearing it.
"Wheres a place you haven't yet been?" She asks me suddenly, "In New York," She adds.
I thought about it for a second before replying, "Central Park,"
Her voice had silenced for a split second, and I furrowed my brows in concern.
Lifting off the wall, I was about to walk back over to where I left her but then her eyes met mine from across the room.
She smiled and walked over to me, taking my hand in hers as she stood in front of me.
"We're going,"
I raise an eyebrow at her in questioning and she wraps her arms around my neck, leaning into me before looking back up at my eyes.
"I'm taking you to Central Park."

Noli Me Tank in a Mall
Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo are important cultural works that ignited the Philippine Revolution against Spain. They are novels that exposed to the populace the abuses and the injustices of their Spanish colonial rulers, the hypocrisy of their priests, and inherent cruelty of their class structure over the powerless masses. Unfortunately, they rose up in the middle of the Spanish-American War, one which saw Spain lose most of their overseas colonies and decisively end as a World Power. The war ended in the 1898 Treaty of Paris, in which Spain also sold the Philippines to the USA for the sum of twenty million dollars. The revolutionary government was then crushed by the overwhelming military might of the United States and the Philippines turned into a territory. While the Philippines stands as the USA's greatest successes in nation-building, their early occupation left almost one-fifth of the population dead from combat and disease. Jose Rizal was executed by the Spanish long before knowing what might happen to his country. The world presented within The Noli and the El Fili is therefore stuck frozen in time, forever caught in that moment before a Revolution. Now let's see what happens to this nation if we give it the Light Novel treatment and jam the entirety of the Internet into their protagonist's skull and watch him try to fix things with his unfortunate tendency to sound like a supervillain. Updates Mondays and Fridays. Note: The Noli and El Fili have been public domain since 1946. This is completely fair game.
