"D-Did you bring it Zoe? Did you?" I couldn't help but let out a laugh at the excited look that greeted me once the door was open.

It's been two days since I've been nursing him to health and he's finally recovered from his cold. Although he still has a cough, it wasn't as bad as before.

I opened the bag that I had and took out Grump'y shampoo, handing it to him. He ket out an excited cheer, making Aron roll his eyes.

Casper has completely warmed up to me and it was honestly a warm feeling. He was so sweet and he even wanted to meet Neo and Peggy.

He's been wanting to give Grumpy a bath and although I told him it wasn't easy, the little guy puffed out his chest and said he can handle it as long as we assist him.

Aron ushered me in, closing the door with the double locks. I took my shoes off and walked towards the couch, placing my bag there.

"Are you sure he can do it?" I turned to glance at Aron, my brows furrowing.

"Of course, he can. Grumpy loves bath but the problem is he loves the water too much and wouldn't leave afterwards." I told him truthfully, making him widened his eyes.

"He doesn't hate water? I heard dogs are a pain in the a-butt when given their baths." He glanced at where Grumpy and Casper was.

He was once again massaging grumpy's rolls and talking animatedly from him. I was reminded by the fact that he didn't have friends because of his stutter and it made me even more sad.

Children can be really cruel these days.

"He loves water. I think Tyrone made him sleep on the bathroom once when he threw a tantrum and then, he just learned to love it." I shrugged, pushing my braids back.

I mentally facepalm at the mention of Tyrone. I didn't know if Aron was comfortable talking about him, although I haven't try to ask him before.

"What's for lunch? Don't tell me you haven't started cooking." I changed the topic, making my way towards the kitchen.

The asshole in fact, didn't cook and waited for me. I threw him a glare and smacked him on the arm making him yelp.

"Why are you hitting? You are a more suited cook that I am." He defended, moving away from him.

I rolled my eyes, knowing that I have no choice. I called Casper, waiting for him to come bounding at the foyer.

"What do you want to have for lunch?" I ask him, walking up to the fridge.

"Can-n you do Mac and Cheese?" He hesitantly asks, pushing a stray curl away from his face.

I nodded."Coming right up Casp. We'll give Grumpy a bath after lunch, okay?" I smiled, glancing at Aron who took the pasta from the one of the cabinets.

He beamed, his toothy smile on view."O-Okay. T-Thank you Zoe!" He dashed out of the kitchen, his giggles following him.

I started preparing the ingredients but there wasn't much to prepare, I took the cheese out and handed it to Aron.

"Shred the cheese asshole. I'm not doing this alone." I told him, making him pout.

"Fine." He grumbled.

I already knew where the pans were and started to fill it with water for the pasta. A silence settled on us while I waited for the water to boil when he broke it.

"I have a question." He stated, making me glance at him.

I didn't bother to reply and nodded my head at him, leaning against the countertop with my arms crossed.

"Where's Tyrone? I couldn't help but notice how you have a lot of free time." He asked, his green orbs not looking up from the cheese he was shredding.

I paused. Tyrone and I had been doing video calls at night, he was busy in the morning with his family since they've been doing fun activities there with his cousins.

"Tyrone left," I replied, making him glance up in surprise."Not like that, He left for vacation with his family." I explained, making him nod slowly.

"He's been. . okay right?" He slowly asks, his Adam's apple bobbing slightly.

This time, I stared at him longer than usual. Although he seemed relax, I could tell from the way he was slowly shredding the cheese that he was anticipating the reply.

"He's been okay but," I paused, not sure how to word it out."It's not easy getting hurt by the people you loved and trusted." I said, making him stop.

He looked up, my hazel ones meeting his saddened green orbs. Aron sighed, placing the cheese back on the small plate.

"I know, I-I miss him. I'm such a dumb fucker for choosing my attraction over our friendship." He honestly said and I couldn't help but notice how dull and tired he looked.

"You broke up, didn't you?" I asked, seeming to know the answer.

He nodded, biting his bottom lip."It was just physical attraction for the both of us. It didn't work out," Aron said, his shoulders slumping slightly.

I couldn't help but feel bad for the guy at the same time not. His actions weren't acceptable and maybe it was God's way of making him realize his mistakes.

"You fucked up so it's probably the big guy's way of getting back to you for it." I answered honestly.

"I know. Why'd you think I'm pulling my neck out for this case? I want to make up for all the pain that I've caused Tyrone." He honestly replied, continuing what he was doing.

The sound of boiling water met my ears and I quickly poured in the pasta before turning back to Aron.

"Are you willing to talk to him, if given the chance?" I asked, making him look up.

He nodded, somehow eagerly."Yes, of course. I at least want to apologize. I won't ask for his forgiveness because I don't deserve it."

I hummed."I think it'll both do you some good if you actually talked it out. There are questions in him that only you could give answers to." I answered honestly, making him nod.

After that, we were both lost in the our own thought while I prepared lunch. The urge to the something about their bond was intense.

It might be too much to ask but maybe there could be a chance that it can be fix? Even if it's a teensy bit chance?

I let out a sigh, somehow troubled. If I were Tyrone would I give him a chance? The question itself was so fucking hard that it made my mood dampen.

They were alike in a sense. They're both suffering and just finding a way to redeem theirselves from the past that haunts them.

I snapped out my thought when Aron placed a hand on my shoulder, making me jump. I quickly turned the stove off, thankfully not burning the mac and cheese.

"Don't worry your pretty little head Zoe. I'll find a way to talk to him." He assured, making my smile weakly at him.

The rest of lunch passed by quickly and I felt my mood lightened up when Casper ate more than he usually would.

Aron was the one who washed the dishes despite my protest. Instead, Casper and I fed Grumpy with the food that I brought him.

We watched TV for an hour and occasionally talking about favorite cartoon characters before finally deciding to give Grumpy a bath.

"Are you ready G-Grumpy?" Casper asked, smiling widely at him.

They both sat in the tub, Aron holding the shower head while I stood next to him. I gave grumpy a small pet before nodding at Aron.

Grumpy just sat and had his eyes in complete bliss as we bathed him. Casper let out a squeal and I giggled when Grumpy suddenly shook his body, the water flying over us and sticking on my shirt making the both of us wet.

I couldn't help but laugh when Casper threw water at Aron, hitting him on the chest and forming a wet splotch on his shirt.

Casper heaps of laughter erupted in the bathroom when Aron faced the shower head on him and splashing him with water.

"A-Bear! T-That was mean!" He giggled, leaning away from the water.

By the time Grumpy's bath was done, my hair and shirt was wet while the other two was dripping wet from the way they threw water back and fort.

I wrapped grumpy in a towel before placing him on the toilet seat. Aron then proceeded to bath Casper, their banter continuing.

The smile from my face was wide and I couldn't help but admire how much Casper looked up from his older brother.

He might be an asshole but he's a sweetheart when it comes to his little brother. I knew it would break his heart if they were to part ways.

"Here change into this first, I'll put your shirt in the dryer quickly." Aron handed me a spare shirt.

I quickly took it and changed, the shirt falling over my shorts. Making my way to Casper's room, I saw he was playing with his toys.

"Hey Casp, did you have fun?" I asked, standing in front of him.

Casper smiled, standing up."Y-Yes, T-Thank you Zoe. I was wondering i-if we can order pizza?" He asks, wrapping his arms around me.

I nodded, it's not like he was eating junk food everyday. Aron told me that he doesn't like to eat chocolate like kid's in his age love to do.

"Alright, I'll give them a call. Pepperoni's your favorite right?" I ask, placing a soft kiss on his head.

Casper nodded eagerly."Y-yes! You're the best Zoe!" He beamed making me giggle.

I walked out of the room and into my living room, shaking my head slightly at Grumpy who was now fast asleep on the floor.

Dialing the pizza place, I quickly ordered two pepperoni pizzas before adding in some churros.

I was craving dessert, I thought. Saying a polite good bye to the cashier, I placed my phone back to the table but made sure that there weren't any unread messages from Tyrone.

"Hey Z, I'll just shower first. Casper made you buy some pizzas?" Aron's head popped out from the hallway.

I took a seat on the couch, nodding my head at him."Yeah, he did." He didn't bother to reply and disappeared.

Turning the TV on, I quickly settled on a random action movie. I was fifteen minutes into the movie when the bell finally rang.

"That was fast." I muttered, turning to my bag and taking my wallet."Zoe gets to eat churros!" I happily said, making my way to the door.

I was trying to find a coin in my wallet when I opened the door."How much is-"

My eyes widened.

"Zoe?" Tyrone asked, his eyes widening and blinking a few times to make sure it was indeed me.

"Tyrone?" I exclaimed, taking a step back in surprise.

My mouth dropped open slightly, taking in his handsome features and being. It was indeed my carrot that stood in front of me.

The expression on his face completely blanked before he narrowed his eyes at me, taking in my oversized shirt and wet hair.

Fuck.

It didn't help that a few seconds later, Aron popped up with only a sweatpants on. Doing a double take when he saw Tyrone.

"Tyrone?" Aron gaped, glancing at the both of us.

I didn't even had the chance to explain when Tyrone threw a punch at Aron. All hell breaking loose at that very moment.

"We were just giving grumpy a bath!"
