I fucking hate mondays.

especially when I have my red days.

Letting out an annoyed sound, I slammed my hand on the blaring alarm clock and shutting it up.

I made sure to fix my bed first before hopping into the shower. Making sure that the water is warm and not cold.

I don't know if its just me but I feel uncomfortable wearing pants on my red days because of my napkin on. I feel like it's bulging and showing through the jeans and feel like everyone will notice.

That's why I decided to wear a dark blue denim skirt and white crop top that says 'sue me' and finishing it off with black vans.

I did my usual routine, covering up my freckled face and a swipe of my favorite lip gloss just to make it extra classy.

"Good morning," Giving my mom a kiss on her cheek.

"Good morning honey." My mom replied, handing me a bowl of oatmeal that was covered in berries and banana.

My mouth watered at the sight before I dug in. I could feel my mom looking at me in amusement as I gobbled the food up in seconds.

I felt my mood improved at the fact that my stomach is stored up with food and happily working.

"Where's Neo and Peggy? We're going to be late," I said, glancing at my watch that said 7:15.

"They didn't inform you? They already left 30 minutes ago saying that Neo's class starts at 7 am." Mom said, a confused look on her face.

"What? Since when did Neo's class start at 7? Fuck, I'm going to be late. I'll just walk mom, I love you! Bye!" I rushed out, taking my bag with me.

I slammed my front door shut, cursing Neo in my head. It was probably one of those days where he wanted to catch a glimpse of his long-time crush and stare at her until classes starts.

I would've used my bike but it was flat since saturday when Neo used my bike with his fat ass, without my permission may I add.

One minute, I was cursing Neo and now, I was cursing at the weather that morphed into a rainy one.

The weather forecast said it would be beautiful Monday today and the urge to slap the back of the head of that weather forecast reporter was strong.

I could see the school's gate in a few distance so you know what? Fudge you motherfudging rain.

I could feel my shirt clinging unto me as the rain pelted against me but I ignored it. Running as fast as I can to the direction of my school.

I let out a huge breath, resting my hands on my knees as I caught up with my breath. I stood outside the school's entrance, dripping wet.

I was a drown rat and my shirt is probably see through right now but I didn't have a choice exactly.

There wasn't any students lurking in the hallway which means I was indeed late. Walking towards my locker, I noticed there were a few jocks hanging near my locker.

I tried not to roll my eyes, knowing that they were purposely skipping classes for their own entertainment

Quite ironic how I was struggling not to make myself late and here they are, chilling as if they weren't students.

I tried to ignore how they quiet down a bit when they saw me, opening my locker to see if I had a spare shirt.

My bag was waterproof inside, so my books and things were completely safe. I was placing my books back when a shadow loomed next to me.

The guy tapped my shoulder, turning to him with a frown. He was one of the popular kids but I didn't know his name.

He had blonde hair that was pushed back, a lean body that was covered in a hoodie and black sweatpants

The smirk that he adorned had me growing uncomfortable. I wasn't exactly sure what he was up to but I didn't like it one bit.

"Yes?" I politely answer, pushing my wet hair back as if I wasn't drenched head to toe.

"Aren't you cold?" He ask, his eyes swiftly checking me out."I was wondering if you'd like to help me warm you up." He flirts, his eyes glimmering seductively.

I admit he wasn't bad looking but the fact that his friends were staring at us with amusement made it obvious he was a player.

Turning back to my locker, I waved him off."I'm not interested. Leave." I said, his friends letting out a few 'oohs'.

I was surprised when he suddenly turned me around, slamming my back against the locker that is surely forming a bruise right now.

"You don't have to play hard to get." He grins, the urge to punch him was strong."I'll give you a good time."

I cocked a brow, my lips in a scowl."Pushing me on the locker didn't turn me on, you hurt my fucking back." I snapped, his grin dropping.

He took a step back, his expression falling before he was pushed back on the floor harshly.

A body wedging itself between us, the group of jocks straightened when they realized who the newcomer was.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Tyrone's tone had its familiar coldness, his posture tense.

The guy's friends walked to him, helping him up from the floor. His expression was back to its cocky one, a smirk on his lips.

"Didn't know she was yours Adler." He raised his hands up."Just couldn't help it when she walked in, looking lik-"

"Finish that sentence." Tyrone took a step forward, his tone holding an icy rage that had them stepping back."I fucking dare you."

Before things could escalate, I stepped forward and wrapped a hand against his arm.

The guy zipped his mouth."Didn't mean to step boundaries. Its best that we leave, can't have a fight breaking out." He cockily said, walking away with his friends.

Tyrone didn't waver his stare from them until they turned the corner. His composure relaxing for a brief moment before he turned to me.

He still had a scowl on but his express softened once he saw my baffled expression.

"Are you okay? Did he touch you?" He asks, glancing at my body before his eyes widened.

He glanced around briefly before his scowl deepened."Why are you looking like that!" He growls.

He took a hold of his jacket before placing it on my shoulders, covering my upper body up.

"Looking what?" I blinked at him."A drowned rat?" I joked, grinning.

He gave me a glare."I can see through your shirt Zoe." He deadpans, his expression making me laugh.

"I had to walk to school," I explain."Got caught up in the rain."

He was about to say something when he noticed me discreetly shivering."Do you have extra clothes?"

I shook my head."I only have some extra leggings. It seemed that Eli borrowed my extra one."

He muttered something under his breath."Go and shower in the female locker rooms. I have some extra clothes."

Tyrone started to lead me towards the area. It was near our gymnasium and can be used anytime by the students, after PE or by the varsity's.

Good thing, I have an extra napkin and panties.

The shower was only short, just to rinse the rain away and get rid of the chances of me getting sick again.

The school had spare towels and were dry-cleaned every week.

Tyrone waited outside, his hand coming in the small gap on the door to hand me his extra shirt that smelled just like him.

The shirt was obviously bigger than me, making it seem like an oversized shirt. I was completely comfy since it covers up my crotch area that was enclosed in a pair of leggings.

Walking out of the locker room, Tyrone was already standing there with a bottle of water.

"Take this." He demands, handing me a tablet of medicine and water.

"I'm not even sick." I mused out, glancing at the paracetamol to him.

He glowered at me."Just do it radish."

I bit my lip, doing as he told. I was still not used to the fact that we've been friends for a few weeks now.

He was still the same Tyrone Adler, scowling and throwing blank stares but he would actually make an effort to talk to me now, minus the back and forth insults thrown at each other when one pisses the other off.

There were short moments where he'd show off his caring side. Like last week ago, some guy had me almost toppling on the floor from bumping into my shoulders and Tyrone made the guy apologized.

Another one was accidentally getting a paper cut the day we did our video presentation and officially got married.

Everyone was baffled when Tyrone took out a box of olaf-themed bandaids and wrapped one around my finger.

Apparently he always carries one since he sometimes picks up his sister at school and she tends to get cuts.

Some students started to notice the same rings that we both adorned in our middle finger. Sparking up rumors that I didn't bat an eyelash to.

Chica, Eliki and Jax were ecstatic to find out about our growing friendship. Delilah was even convinced that we'd start dating.

Yeah, no.

"I was trying not to get late but I still ended up skipping first period." I grumbled, both of us deciding to hide in the library.

"Why were you even walking in the first place? Weren't you riding with Neo?" He asks, glancing at me.

"That idiot left me, it was probably because I woke up quite late too." I replied, trying to match his fast strides.

Tyrone seemed to notice this and raised a brow, earning a glare from me. I let out a sudden gasp when he placed a hand on my lower back and push me forward to walk ahead of him.

"You walk like a sloth." He comments, but I was too wrapped up in the sudden pain that erupted in the area.

My lips twisted in a grimace before I tried to cover it up with a laugh. Clearly not working on Tyrone who narrowed his eyes.

"What's wrong?" He questions, halting in his steps.

I planned to continue walking but he took a hold of the back of his shirt and pulled me back, before bringing the shirt up.

"What the fuck happened to your back Zoe?" Tyrone's angry voice resonated around the hallway.

Oh shit.

I turned around, distancing myself away from Tyrone with an innocent look.

I bruise easily and it wasn't even funny. Hit my elbow on the wall and it'll bruise. Stub my toe on the corner of the table and it'll bruise. Even my hands gets bruised easily.

It was a genetic thing, from what Mom told me. She gets random bruises in her legs and arms all the time.

The impact from the lockers earlier was cause of it and I knew that.

Considering that Tyrone mentioned it, I was once again reminded of the throbbing on my back.

"What are you talking about?" I feigned innocent, glancing at him making sure my eyes were wide and full of innocence.

I knew the moment I'd tell him how that guy earlier pushed me, he'd throw a fit and might hunt the poor guy down.

"Don't avoid my question Zoe." Tyrone snapped, gone was his relax composure replacing it with his whole body tensing.

"Oh the bruise? You see yesterday, Neo and I were doing kickboxing and he accidentally pushed me hard down unto the floor so yeah, it bruised." I fumbled out the lie, making sure it came out as relax as it can.

Tyrone ignored my words and glared at me,"Who did that? Did Jett did that to you?" He snapped, moving closer to me.

"Who's Jett?" I asked instead, hoping he'd fall for my change of topic.

"Motherfucker, Answer me now Zoe or else I'd marched up to him right now and make sure he wouldn't get to see the daylights for hurting you." He gritted out, his hand fisting tightly on his sides making me wince at how it was turning white.

I grew surprised for a second. I wasn't expecting Tyrone to be this mad. It's just a simple bruise, no biggie.

I sighed, taking a hold of his hand."Fine, yes, it was him. He pushed me on the locker earlier trying to pull a Mr. Christian Grey.'" I said.

Before I knew it, Tyrone was storming to the area they were walking away earlier.

My instincts kicked in and I wrapped a hand around his arm, stopping him in his tracks.

"Don't do something that would only get you in trouble Tyrone." I said firmly, trying to meet his eyes.

"He fucking hurt you." A dark tone in his voice that even had me intimidated.

I sighed, stepping in his way."Its just a bruise carrot. It'll fade away, he was planning to apologize when I told him that it hurts anyway." I explain, a certain plead in my voice.

I didn't want unnecessary drama especially with guys that could lead to a possible suspension and hospital visits.

Tyrone stared at me, his honey eyes were almost a shade darker in fury."Fine, I won't hurt him." He sighed, taking a hold of my hand.

I looked at him in a suspicion."Promise me you wouldn't touch a single hair on him. Not even one glare." I let out, my voice firm.

"I promised radish." He says, his thumb caressing the back of my palm.

If only I noticed the little loophole in the promise and see through the dark plot already forming on Tyrone's mind.
