It was around 6 am when you woke up and found Katsuki out of bed. When you went to find him in Katsumi's room, your heart hurt seeing him holding her in his hero uniform.
"Are you ready to go back to work?," you ask snuggling into his back.
"I don't want to leave you guys yet, she's already getting so big," he whispered stroking Katsumi's cheek.
"I know babe, but we'll be here when you get back. You're a great hero and the world needs you out there. We'll be ok."
He wraps his arm around you and pulls you into him, "if you need anything just tell me, I'll come back in a heartbeat."
"Yes sir, and I'll make sure to send you pictures and videos."
Not long after that, Katsuki kissed you both goodbye and left for work. Katsumi thankfully was still wanting to sleep so you put her in her portable crib in the bedroom and fell back asleep too.
The sounds of fussing pulled you from sleep and Katsumi decided it was time to start her day. Even with an infant, you forgot how quiet it was in the house without Katsuki. It was almost suffocating. Normally you two would just talk mindlessly while doing normal parent things, but now that you were alone, it felt completely different.
You brought Sumi into her room to get her changed for the day. A positive thing about Katsuki being gone is that you could dress her in one of the big bows he hated. He always claimed they were about as big as she was. You pinched her chunky thighs as you slide them out of her onesie. She let out a little squeal of delight and you nearly melted.
After getting her dressed, you got her to smile again and took a quick picture and sent it to Katsuki. Not even a few minutes later he responded.
🧡
You look at Sumi and she just stares back chewing on her hand.
"Looks like mommy has some competition."
The rest of the day was fairly normal, feeding, changing diapers, cleaning up, etc. When you put Sumi down for a nap and started dinner for you and Katsuki, you started feeling a little anxious voice in the back of your head. The house was too quite. You were too alone.

After getting the pot of curry simmering, you ended up just sitting in Sumis room watching her sleep so you didn't feel so lonely.
When Katsuki opens the front door and sets his gauntlets down, the sweet smell of curry floods his senses. Assuming you're in the kitchen, he looks there for you first only to find the pot simmering on low heat.
His boots thump against the hard floor with each step he takes but he slips them off his feet when he gets close the the baby room. Cracking open the door he sees you rocking in the chair watching Sumi sleep.
Trying not to startle you he quietly whispers your name.
You slightly jump when you notice him behind you. You quietly stand up and leave the room, closing the door behind you.
"Welcome home," you whisper wrapping your arms around his neck.
"We're you guys ok today?," he asks nuzzling his face into your hair.
"Yeah we were fine, she wasn't as fussy as I thought she'd be. Hopefully she's not saving it for tonight."
This continued for another 3 weeks and Bakugou could notice your light dimming. Every time Katsumi cried you immediately silently got up, even in the late hours of the night. He noticed you stopped talking to her too, just stayed quiet while you took care of her. Your conversations were almost completely one sided.
He knew he needed to step in or at least say something but he just didn't know how. He didn't want to offend you and make you think you weren't a good enough mother, but he also couldn't stand seeing you like this.
On his way home from work one night, he decided tonight was the night to say something. You were his sun and it was like you were stuck in a permanent eclipse, covered in the darkness of the moon.
When he arrived home, he kicked his boots off and went to look for you. He could faintly here the sound of the shower running so he went into your shared bedroom. Inside he found Sumi in her portable crib watching her mobile with starry eyes.

He leaned forward and rubbed her belly causing her to squeal, exited to see her father.
"Hey pop rock!," he whispered to her. "Did you have a good day with momma?"
Her little hands held on to his large fingers while he played with her. Leaving Sumi, he went into the bathroom to greet you, yet what he found nearly shattered his heart.
Inside the glass shower and he saw you sitting on the floor in a ball just letting the water hit your head while you stared mindlessly at the black tile. Not even caring about his hero outfit, he stepped in and lifted you to your feet gently. His hands cupped your cheeks and he ran his thumbs under your eyes, trying desperately to see what was going through your mind.
You just stared at him dazed before quietly saying, "Welcome home."
He sighed and kissed your forehead and pulled you out of the shower and set you on the bathroom sink and grabbed a towel to dry you off.
He pulled out his phone and watched you dangle your feet as he put his phone to his ear.
"Ma? Yeah. No she's fine. Do you think you can watch Sumi for the night? No I'm not tired of being a dad already you old hag. Ok. Alright I'll see you in 15."
After he hung up, you looked up at him with a pout. "Why are you sending Katsumi to Mitski?"
He stepped over and placed his hands on your thighs giving them a gentle squeeze, "Because momma, I think you need a break."
"I don't need a break Katsuki, I'm her mom. I have to do this."
"Y/n look at me."
He waited till your doe eyes stared back into his.
"What's going on inside that head of yours?"
"I-I don't know what you mean."
"Babe," he said moving one hand to your waist. "You're not ok are you? You can tell me."
He watched your eyes start to sparkle with fresh tears before you looked down and started angrily wiping them away, "Ugh it's so stupid that I feel this way!"
"Feel what way baby? I can't help you unless you talk to me," he pushed further.
"I just... feel so numb. Like there's nothing in here," you said sadly pointing to your heart.
He scooped you up in his arms and carried you to the bed and sat with you in his arms.
"Can I say something and you not get upset?," he asked rocking you.
You heard you let out a small hum in affirmation.
"I think... this is normal for some new moms. Remember when the doctor told us about postpartum depression?"
"Yeah," you answered solemnly.
"I really think that's what you're going through right now babe. You went through a lot to bring our baby girl into the world and I'm so fucking proud of you and the mom you're becoming, but I don't want you to forget to take care of yourself. You don't need to do this completely alone. I know I gotta go to work and shit, but when I come home you can put me on baby duty. Take time for yourself or we can have the old hag or one of the nerds watch her for a bit. It's gonna sound shitty of me to say this but it's ok to be a little selfish sometimes and think about yourself. You understand me pretty girl?"
You sniffled and pressed your face into his chest, "Yeah I do."
"Good girl, now when my ma comes to get Sumi, we can do whatever you want."
"Whatever I want?," you asked him looking up at him with soaked lashes.
"Yes princess whatever you want."
"Uhm... will you cook for me? And can we watch a dumb comedy movie?"
"That's my girl."

This reborn personal trainer is going to whip the royal army into shape!
Olympics Sports Trainer, Meg Thompson, had never even heard of an otome game, so when she died in Japan during the Tokyo Games and was reincarnated into one in error as the minor character, Briar Bell, she might have unintentionally messed just about everything up for the true heroine...Whether it was her befriending villainesses, or hanging out with capture targets, from the moment she was born she was setting the plot careening off course. (although if you ask her, the original storyline was stupid and hopeless to begin with #SorryNotSorry)The Heroine was supposed to seduce this medieval-esque kingdom's most eligible bachelors in order to use the power of their love to stop the encroaching demon army from destroying humanity with her heart magic. Playing the role of 'heroine' was another reincarnated woman named Sakura, a hardcore Japanese otaku who had previously been hit by a truck in a tale as old as time.Whether it is the fault of Sakura's social ineptness (as Briar would claim) or from her own interventions, humanity is now heading towards total decimation. Seems like she'll have to brush off her coaching skills and get this royal army into fighting form.
