"God damn it Katsuki."

You opened the fridge and saw that he forgot his lunch in the fridge. Pulling it out, you set it in your tote bag and grab one of his sports drinks for him too before making the walk to his agency.

It wasn't very far from the apartment and your back had been killing you since you reached your second trimester. Especially now that you were close to 6 months and the doctor said walking can help.

The cool spring air was nice but it made you more excited since you knew your baby was going to be a summer baby. The weather changing showing you just how much closer you were to them being in the world.

Passing by a cafe, baby Bakugou decided they were hungry so you grabbed a pastry and smoothie for the way.

You huffed the whole way up the steps to the front entrance before a passing hero who quickly opened the front door for you.

You walked up to the receptionist and said, "excuse me, can I see Bakugou for a moment?"

She continued to type away on her computer not even bothering to look up, "If you want a meeting your going to have to schedule an appointment and the soonest he could see you is next Tuesday."

"Aw that's a shame, even for his wife?"

She quickly looks up from her computer and sees your round belly. "Oh shit. I mean of course Mrs.Bakugou, I'll call him right away!"

"Thank you dear, he forgot his lunch again."

A few minutes later the Elevator dinged and Bakugou ran out spinning his head in circles trying to find you. He saw you struggling to lean forward and pick up a magazine in the waiting room, letting out a soft smile before jogging over to you.

"Hey you, what the hell are you doing here?," he asks placing a quick kiss to your lips.

You pull out his lunch and drink and set them in his hand.

"You should've stayed home, I could've just gotten something from the cafeteria!"

"But how could I miss an opportunity to see my sexy husband at work?," you say wiping of some ash from his cheek. "We're you training or patrolling?"

"Training. Somebodies gotta wip these extra sidekicks into shape if they're gonna work for me. Cmon let me get you something to eat," he says ushering you towards the elevator.

"Oh I just ate though!"

"What was it?"

"A pastry and a smoothie."

"Nope you need more than that, cmon they made pizza today."

He walked you through the line and got you a couple slices and grabbed a handful of pepper flake packets, without you even having to ask him to.

You follow behind him to his office and tells you to sit in his desk chair cause it's more comfortable'.

"You're starting to waddle ya know," he laughs out, shoving a bite of his salad into his mouth.

"Quit making fun of me!," you pout.

"I'm not! It's just funny seeing you walk like that!"

"You try carrying a child inside you, you wouldn't last a week!"

"Whatever you say sweetheart."

You look around his desk and saw a small framed photo of you and one next to it of the babies sonogram. You pick it up and hold it out for him as your eyes start watering.

"Oi, don't go crying about it!," he says pulling it out of your hand.

"You're just so cute! You love us so much! God I'm so hormonal, the baby won't make me stop crying!"

"If you keep crying like that, they're gonna be a major cryer too."

"Shut up Katsuki!"

After lunch Bakugou drives you home and you can't help but feel the need to clean and get the baby's room ready. Your doctor said you'd start nesting and when Bakugou, once again, googled it, he started cracking up and comparing you to a momma bear. You washed the same baby clothes and blankets you already washed before, vacuumed the whole house, cleaned all the dishes, and started dinner.

By the time dinner was almost done, it was almost 7:30 which was strange for Bakugou to not be home since he was off at 6. Dialing his number, you felt your chest tense up at his answering machine. Why wasn't he answering?

You tried texting him and saw that it wasn't going through. Maybe he had an emergency at work. This has happened before but it was the first time while you were pregnant. You felt a knot in your stomach and tears welling in your eyes from the anxiety of something happening to him.

You felt your little baby kicking cause of your sudden mood shift. Sitting on the couch, you attempted to read to distract yourself but found you kept reading the same line repeatedly.

2 hours passed and you finally caved and tried calling the office, only to be met with a voicemail stating they'd be open tomorrow at 8 am. Then tried Kiri. Maybe he was with Bakugou. His went straight to voicemail too.

You're phone lit up with a photo of Bakugou before you started sobbing. With shakey hands you quickly answered. "Katsuki? Katsuki you there?!"

"Hey baby, sorry I missed your calls," he answered.

"Where the hell are you?! I've been worried sick! Are you okay?!"

"Slow down mama, you're gonna stress out the brat. I'm fine but I have to tell you something. Can you sit down for me?"

"Why do I have to sit down?," you answered nervously.

You could here Bakugou sigh through the phone, "y/n just please sit down."

"Ok I'm sitting."

"They're... they're sending me on a mission."

"Ok?"

"In South America."

"South America?! For how long Katsuki!?"

"Y/n please-," he starts before your sobbing into the phone.

"How fucking long?!"

"... 6 weeks."

"6 weeks? Katsuki I'm pregnant! What if the baby comes early?! What if you don't make it home?! Why are you doing this?!"

"They need me, y/n"

"We need you! We matter too!"

"I know you do! They said they need more help there, it's really bad y/n."

"You can say no!"

"Y/n you know I can't do that."

"You can! You're just choosing not to! Please don't leave!"

"Y/n..."

You felt your anger bubbling up in your chest making you feel like you could explode.

"I hate you!"

You hung up and slammed your phone on the coffee table.
