《Bakugou Katsuki x reader one shots》Lost

"Geez silly. You should be more careful. You could've gotten hurt." She held her hand out to me with a goofy smile.
I slap her hand away blushing. I didn't need help, especially from a girl.
But I really wanted to take her hand. I wanted to hold it, a lot.
But I could never say that out loud.
My pride wouldn't allow it.
She had a cool quirk and I liked her attitude. She was the only one I wanted around.
Deku and the others shoulda fucked off.
I couldn't bring myself to say anything back then.
But now...
"Hey Katsu could you do me a favor? Promise to help me train when this is all over ok? I need to get stronger so I can protect you like you protect me. These villains ain't got nothing on us right? I look forward to our date."
Even in her moments of death she was still smiling.
That fucking perfect smile that made my heart race.
"I promise dummy." I respond as I fight off my own villains.
When I see her next she's on the ground bleeding out.
My eyes widen as I hold her close.
"I'm sorry." She whispers.
"Don't you dare." I respond angrily. "Don't you dare apologize. And you better not fucking die. You promised me a training date."
She giggles softly and places her hand on my cheek.
Tears drop from my eyes to her cheeks.
She leans up and kisses me gently. "We'll have that date soon. I love you Katsu."
"Dammit," I whisper looking away. "I love you too." Before I could say her name her hand falls and her smiles slowly disappears.
All of my emotions explode and I scream in agony. I yell at the sky and hold her as close to my body as possible.

Tears stream down my cheeks rapidly as I rock back and forth.
Those around us quickly look over and gasp in shock.
I didn't care about them though.
The one person I loved and cared about just died in my arms.
Deku, gravity girl, icy hot and sonic rush over quickly.
Kiri was close behind them.
All they could do was cry.
A couple paramedics tried taking her from me but I wouldn't let her go.
I couldn't.
Finally Kiri has to pry me away while I was kicking and screaming.
They rush her to the hospital but she was pronounced dead soon after arriving.
I lock myself in my room and as my world crumbled my mind started to fade.
She was my everything and I never got to show her.
I'll never be able to have the future I wanted with her.
All I can do is regret and blame myself.
If I had been faster in defeating my villains I could've helped her and she'd be alive.
It should've been me.
That's all I can tell myself.
Everyday I miss her more and more.
Every moment of my life I think of her.
I have to go on for her or I know she'd kick my ass.
It's hard but I think if I do it for her, I'll be fine.
Can you see me wherever you are?
I hope so. I hope you're proud.
You'd have been the number one no problem.
But now I have to be in your place.
I'll be number one for you.

In a world where art has power and power is everything, Thando Nkhosi is an MMA fighter trying to stand out and be somebody. At least, as much as one can among 23 billion other people. Life is generally good under the [High King]. That is, until he and his friends are catapulted into the upper echelons of the Inner Planet Federation by being granted a power that may be a bit too much for them to handle, and given a task that seems impossible. Trying my hand at a hopefully unique LitRPG system. No stats or number crunching though. Kinda scifi, kinda fantasy but scifi elements only really become plot relevant after the first arc. Won't be doom and gloom but will get really dark at times. Updates twice a week at minimum (2-3k words), sometimes more when school decides to let me out of the pillory lol. Inspired by a writing prompt on reddit and WarHammer 40k orks.
8 136The Far Away Dream
The possessor priesthood drew the perfect bodies. They pulled them from pictures and brought them to life. One of them drew his vision of the perfect world. Now the world and cultures of Neolys must face their ancient past. A story of suffering, the intimacy it creates, and the will to fight against those who try to redraw the place you call home. The many characters in Neolys must unite and struggle against The Far Away Dream. Is a world of suffering worth fighting for? Is it insanity to fight for what hurts you? (I am in the process of rewriting/refurbishing this long story from one I wrote long ago and saved on my computer, into first person. I abandoned it many years ago. It will take time to figure everything out again and make the right changes. The Prologue/first chapter is supposed to be in third person)

8 102Along for the Ride
Every child born on the continent of West Cartia is taught about the Great Goblin War but what the annals of history fail to mention is that the entirety of the conflict could be traced back to a group of four friends who stumbled into the currents of fate in search of a fantasy novel. This is the story of how a band of bookworms realized that when destiny pulled hard enough, struggling was futile; it was best to relax and go along for the ride. "A breezy, good time with all the trappings of high fantasy fun." - someone eventually (hopefully)
