AMELIA'S P. O. V
There are some occasions in your life, where you have no control. In other words, life is not like an Episode game where you have control on everything. Sometimes, you have to follow someone else to regard them and to show that you respect them. You have to ask them and let them control your life. Its not because they want to but because you want them to.
At that time, we have to keep our guards low and let them enter our pathetic life. You have to give them a chance to make it a tad bit better and brighten our days full of melancholies. Although, now you have no control but you have the right of choice. No one can snatch it from you. You have right to make a choice.
"We should go inside." I whispered against his lips, "Regina needs us."
Alarick groaned and pressed his lips against mine even harder. I can never get tired of this. People say that after a few years in relationship, that specific charm is lost somewhere. Kisses aren't the same like they used to be. Those electric tingles are lost somewhere and nothing remains same but with Alarick, I can't decipher why these tingles don't go away. Why everytime I feel like I am kissing him for the first time.
When I first met him, I was instantly drowned in his love. I didn't believe in love at first sight and I am not saying that I fell in love with just a mere sight of him. The reason I fell in love with him was, he wasn't same as the men I came across. He didn't saw me as piece of toy made to be ravished. After what happened in my past, he was the first person who didn't interact with me because I was a woman or I was a thing of beauty. He interacted because he hated me and his loathe changed into my love.
"Alarick!" I slapped him on chest, "Asher must be waiting for you."
After rushing and running for a week, we were finally able to create best wedding of the year. Yeah, that's what I think. I hadn't seen such a grand wedding in my entire life. It was simply extravagant. But I didn't think about the end result. When we were all drained of our energies, Ana decided to break the great news of her shifting to Italy and that news was everything except great plus that was only two hours ago.
"No he is busy with his wife." He said leaning in but I pushed him back.
"Backyard is not the place to satisfy your lust." I stepped aside straightening my dress, "Where's Regina?"
"Living room."
We began walking back into the house.
"Ana shouldn't have done this." I muttered, "Regina is so upset."
Ana had a right to make choice and she chose Regina. Regina deserved her regard and respect. She made a decision for her. A decision which could be best in her favour but Ana refused to respect her enough and the decision made by her. She decided for herself and left with Daniel for good. According to her, there's nothing left in New York.
Regina wanted her little sister to be with her forever but she took a step towards her and allowed her to stand on her own. Instead of taking a step forward, like Regina did, Ana took one back. She deprieved Regina of something she used to live for.

"I think Ana should've waited for some time before leaving." He said as we entered the house.
"I am okay. Ana is happy and that's what only matters." Regina said playing with Liam's little hand.
"Are you sure?" Asher asked who was sitting right beside her. Worry was evident in his face whereas Regina's face, which was always glowing with emotions was devoid of anything.
I sat beside her while Alarick kept standing looking at Regina with despair.
"Come, baby Liam." I whispered and took Liam on my lap. He giggled as I kept making faces at him.
"She'll come back someday." Asher said squeezing Regina's hand assuringly, "She'll realize her mistake. She'll come back when she realizes that actually Italy is where there is nothing."
Regina just nodded.
"Well, aren't you all sleepy? It was quite a day." Regina asked smiling which didn't quite reach her eyes.
"Well, yeah. First this wedding and then a bombshell of surprise." Asher groaned and fell back into the couch.
"This dress has become so tight. I think I ate alot today." I fumbled with the straps on my shoulder which left marks.
"Eeshh..Am, I am slimmer than you and I even have a baby." Regina laughed genuinely. I felt happy but I couldn't leave her for what she just said.
"That's offensive, not just for me but all the mamas out there and I am not fat, I am just fluffy....and soft....and cute." I grumbled giving her a pointy look.
"Yeah fluffy. She is fluffy." Alarick mumbled swirling the liquid in his glass. I didn't realize when he went to the bar and get himself a drink. I must try to live in this world and stop blacking out. He took a seat beside me and tickled Liam which caused him to giggle even more. He's such a cutie.
"You are already drunk, Alarick." I shifted to grab the glass which he sensed and quickly gulped the contents giving me a sheepish grin.
Seriously?
"Oh my god! You're so effin' cute!" I rolled my eyes at him.
"Say that one more time and I'll show you how much of a cute man I am." He arched an eyebrow waiting for my response. I knew he hated being called cute and it annoys the hell out of him but he really looks cute when he is angry
..and drunk.
Since I wasn't in a mood of arguing or any type of angry sex, I just ignored him and he slumped back into the couch.
Asher stood up, "I think we should call it a night. What do you think, buddy?" He slapped on Alarick's shoulder hard and I was like, Easy you nagging buddy. Like literally you guys don't have to slap each other to show your so called buddy love.
Yeah.
I kept playing with Liam's small hand until Asher and Alarick was nowhere in sight.
"I think we should call it a night too." Regina grumbled looking at Liam.
"What?"
"Can we go to some lush bar? Its been so long." She stood up.
"Yes! Why not?" I followed her upstairs. I don't know what changed her mind so fast. A moment ago she was sad about Ana and now she wants to call it a night and go party all night?
"I'll meet you downstairs in five minutes. Go freshen up." I handed her Liam and went inside my room to get changed out of this so called bridemaid's dress. I pulled up black tightes. I looked myself in the mirror and let out a genuine gasp. I think I need to stop my hands at food because now I see that 'A moment on lips, forever on hips." is so damn right.

I slid into a baggy top hiding my bazooka butt and tied my hair into a high ponytail. I didn't need any makeup because I was having four star salon makeup caked on my face.
When I was all ready and wasted ten minutes. Although, I was supposed to be downstairs fifteen minutes ago but I know Regina wouldn't be ready too. She is more lazy and lax than me.
I was literally shocked when I saw Regina coming down. I had never seen her in dresses like what she was wearing right now. She always wore pretty little sundresses and those casual jeans but right now she was wearing a perfect leather dress covering her body like a second skin. She didn't look bad or slutty. However, she looked totally and utterly sexy, whereas I resembled a pile of poop. Sometimes I think there should be a novel written on me with title 'Fifty Shades of Poop.'
Whatever.
"What did you do with Liam?" I asked as soon as we hit the road.
"Rozana is looking after him." She said fixing her lipstick in the mirror all the while keeping her gaze on the road. She is going to get us killed.
I am not even married yet.
"Oh. The nanny." I breathed out, "What's with the leather dress?"
"This? Oh. It was just rotting away in my cupboard. Asher said it would look good on me but I never tried it. I had decided that I will wear it whenever I'll go to some bar." She replied taking a sharp turn.
No worries. No worries. We're going to survive.
"What?" She said as she caught me staring at her, "Oh no. Really Amelia, I am alright! Why don't you people understand? I am really happy that Ana is doing what she wants. I am not clingy."
"You took Ana's words on heart. Regina you're not clingy at all. You just....care for her."
"Ah. No. I am fine. I know I'll be alright. I just need a little time." She shrugged and turned the radio on.
I so hate these commercials.
"We're here." Regina parked the car and we got out. I wasn't worried about Regina. I knew she would do alright. She has gone through a lot and I think after that she has learned how to live life and how to manage everything or more like how to mould herself according to her problems.
The warm sweaty smell invaded my nose as soon as we entered the bar. It was probably one of the those lush bars but still people here were no less than crazy drunkards.
We reached the bar and Regina smiled at me.
"High?" She nudged me.
"High."
Regina chuckled calling for the bartender.
"12 Tequila shots." She said to the bartender and he gave us a wink before disappearing into the crowd.
I glanced at Regina and she was looking around the club smiling. She frowned when she caught my gaze.
"Oh God! Amelia stop concerning yourself. I am okay and I am saying this for the last time. If you-"
"Okay okay! Well." I looked at the bartender as he placed the tray of neatly set shots down in front of us. Regina quickly grabbed one and washed it down in an instant.
"Hey! These six are mine." I grabbed the six and dragged them in front of me all the while squinting at her.
"You act like a child and you haven't even touched your drink." She laughed out loud and without waiting for me gulped another.
I looked down at my shots and cringed. I really wasn't in a mood. I was here just because of Regina and I think, one of us should remain sober plus I don't have very good experience being drunk.
Regina had noticed that I hadn't touch my shots but said nothing. When she was done with the six, she ordered some more. My eyes roamed around the place. People were dancing and grinding like there was no tomorrow. Just then my eyes landed on a brunette dancing in the centre laughing and tossing her hair around. A smile spread on my face as I stood up from the stool.
"I'll be back and no more drinks." I warned Regina and hopped towards the centre of the dance floor.
"Scarlett! Scarlett!" I called out but she was so lost in the music that she didn't hear me until I tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around and frowned at me. She was going to shout when her eyes widened in realization.
"Oh my God! Amelia!" She squealed and took me into a tight hug. It was too tight for me but I hugged her even tightly to show her how tight she was on me. Realizing this, she released me.
"You'll never change. Stop hugging people so damn hard." I said smiling at her.
"You know why I hug people so hard."
She rolled her eyes dragging me out of the bar.
"Yeah to kill them." We chuckled along.
"Yes and do you know why I want to kill you?" She placed her hands on her hips squinting her eyes at me, "Because you ditched me! Amelia its been ten fūcking years!"
I nodded looking down, "I know. Its a long story and you know what I don't want to recall those ten years."
"I can understand. So have you killed Owen yet?" She asked, her eyes twinkling with hope.
I laughed and shook my head.
"But he's changed."
"That piece of filth can never change!" She shook me as if I was the biggest freak alive on Earth. She hasn't met Alarick Freaking Knight yet.
"I know he's changed. I think Lung cancer has changed him. I saw him few weeks ago. He said he's dying and he wants me to forgive him." I explained.
"I can't believe this. God. Karma is a bitch." She breathed out, "Karma is a bitch. I am going to get killed. I am going to get killed."
"What? What do you mean? Scarlett what did you do?" Now I was literally worried for her. I knew she has been abused by her aunt and that's why she was my best friend in high school. She knew my pain. We lost contact after high school because of her aunt. I don't remember her name because Scarlett never used it and we just called her hitler. I tried very hard to see her, but her cousin just pushed me out of the house. Her hitler of an aunt not even bothered to say that to me herself that I can't see my best friend anymore.
"I killed her. I killed Tiana."
