AMELIA'S POV
After downing six shots and infinity of drinks down my throat, it felt like everything was floating and I was in air. I was feeling light, like a feather.
I was examining the place when my eyes caught a shiny label on a door at the far end.
VIP.
The golden label flashed sparks at me flooding my mind with what I have been trying to forget for so many years.
I smirked inwardly. I know very well what happens behind that VIP door. I have been in there for so many times. I cringed at the hurtful memories.
Over!
That's all over. Nothing's going to happen again!
"Daaancccceeee!" Bianca slurred and went deep into the crowd leaving me all alone. I stared at her dancing form with some guy. I squinted my eyes to see clearly and frowned when I realized it was Isaac. Isaac Brett.
I think something's going on between them. The way Bianca blush at his sight and the way he smirks at her, says it all. I hope it's true as I can see how adorable they'll look together.
Together.
Whenever this word comes to my mind, I always feel alone as if I am missing. I crave to say that someone is with me or 'we're together'. I don't know when that time would come. As on cue, the same chocolate brown pools flashed through my mind and a giggle escape my mouth. I don't know what makes me think that he is or will be something to me while I am nothing to him. I can't say he's nothing to me.
Oh these thoughts are gonna make me insane.
I felt like someone was boring holes into my head which caused me to look around but there was nothing. I had been feeling like I am being watched since a very long time but whenever I try to find out, there's nothing.

I kept my focus on my murky drink. All dark and foggy, just like me. I was lost in thoughts when I heard a male voice,
"Hey."
I snapped my head towards the source of 'hey' and grinned when I saw a very handsome man in front of me. He had messy blonde hair with those blue eyes. He was wearing a simple white button down and black leather jacket with black jeans.
I giggled, "Hi." He looked way too handsome in this state where I am totally and utterly drunk. And completely out of my mind.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Rebecca." I answered without thinking. My breath hitched as I heard the name coming out of my own mouth. Now that's enough proof of me being out of my freaky mind. I hope I don't look like a complete chucklehead.
"Nice. I am Jackson."
I bobbed my head with the music.
"So are you alone?" He yelled so I could hear him.
"No, my friend's...there." I yelled back pointing at Bianca's dancing form. She was still with Isaac. A crooked smile made it's way over my lips as I saw them looking at each other lovingly.
"Why aren't you dancing?" He asked giving me a smile dripping with honey.
I giggled in response. Whatever it was, It was taking over me. I closed my eyes and heard the music beats fainting.
"Come dance with me." Jackson said which looked more like a plead and I just shook my head in response.
"Why?" He arched his brow. But it wasn't perfectly arched as those of Alarick's.
"I am not in a mood." I said backing off.
"Come on! It'll be fun." He said and grabbed my hand.

He dragged me to the dance floor ignoring my protests.
Reaching the middle of dance floor, he guided my arms around his neck. He placed his hands on my waist and we began swaying with the beats. I didn't protest anymore. It felt like energy was drained out of me.
My eyes were closed but when I opened him I found him inches away from my face. He looked so innocent and caring that I felt like I would collapse in his arms and would never wake again.
I looked into his eyes and he leaned in but I pulled back frowning. Although, the drinks were making my mind hazy but I knew what he was going to do. And I didn't want to pounce upon a man I've just met.
He took a hold of my hand and dragged me out of the crowd. Now I was yelling at him to stop but he pretended as if he couldn't hear me.
We brushed past through the sweating and grinding forms of people totally lost in their world. He kept dragging me and reached the area behind bar. It was dark here with faint neon lights which weren't helping the dark. I realized no one was here except us. The faint sound of music could be heard.
"What are you doing?" I asked as I stepped back.
He took a step forward.
My throat constricted but before I could fathom what was happening he had me pinned to the wall. His hands held my wrists on my either side.
"Let me...go." I slurred a bit.
He was looking straight into my eyes and it showed rage. His eyes were totally changed and that innocence was nowhere to be found. It looked like he had grudge against me and he was waiting for this day and this moment when he would release it all right on me.
"Please. I don-"
His mouth clamped to mine. I began struggling but his grip on my already bruised wrists tightened and I whimpered against his lips.
I was going to knee him where the sun doesn't shine but before I could move, his leg trapped mine and he pressed on me hard bounding me completely. I couldn't move an inch.
I wasn't able to help myself. I was feeling utterly disgusted.
I was weak and pathetic. At this time, I was just wishing if someone could save me.
Someone.
He was kissing my neck furiously and it felt like someone was pricking thousand needles in my neck. Tears were flowing freely on my cheeks. I stopped struggling anymore. My mind was numb. This is my fate. No one can change it. No one can save me.
No one.
My mind was becoming hazy with every minute and my eyes were drooping. The stinging pain in my wrists was not bothering me anymore. There was suffocation all around me. I couldn't breathe. It felt like someone was sucking oxygen out of me. Everything was just coming to a halt. No sound at all. I could just hear my own heart beats.
My eyes were almost closed when I heard a loud thump. The previous weight was not on me anymore. No grip on my wrists. I slid down along the wall helplessly when I felt familiar warm hands on my arms.
"Amelia!"
I heard my name before the darkness engulfed me.
