Looking into her chocolate brown eyes kills me. They make me forget about the bullet wound. They make me forget about our war with the Russians. They make me forget about Rose.

I look deeply into her eyes and push myself closer to her. Without a second thought, I lightly press my lips onto hers. She follows my lead and starts to kiss me back with her soft, luscious lips.

Angela rakes her hands through my hair and lightly tugs at the ends of them. She pulls back and looks into my eyes, with regret.

"I'm sorry- I-I can't. I don't wanna be another one of your hoes. I do truly like you but I will never be as good as the other girls," she whispers with tears in her eyes before running out of my office.

"FUCK," I yell pushing myself off the piano stool. I grab an expensive vase off my desk and chuck it across the room. I dig my hands into my hair and yell again. I push everything off my desk, sit on the office chair behind my desk and start thinking.

Why? Why is this happening? I can not love someone and get them taken away from me, again. Not this time, I will fight for her. I will keep what is mine.

I rush out of my room and over to Angela's. As I open the door I see her curled up in a ball under the sheets. I walk over to her side, cup her face, and lightly but passionately kiss her. I kiss her like there is no tomorrow. I look into her eyes for the thousandth time today.

"Zemer, you have never been and will never be one of my 'hoes', I promise you that," I say softly.

"I don't want to be hurt again," she says leaning into my chest.

I will keep my promise, I always do.
