She is currently on her period and this make things much more easier for me. I pick up the sanitary bag that contained the used pad and put it in the inner pocket of my coat. I quickly wash my hand and takes a deep breathe, holding myself back. I close my eyes for few seconds and open them back as soon I heard a knock on the door.
"Mr Jeon, is everything alright? Erm I'm all set to go." That soothing warm voice of hers calmed me down for a moment. I walk towards the door and open it which cause her to startle and take a step back from me. Sweet Lucifer, the lady is wearing a red blouse with black skirt that shows off her curves. I felt it hardened in my pants causing me to shift slightly. "Let's get going then." I walk past her and made my way to the main door. While waiting for her to lock her house door and gates, I head towards my black audi and immediately hide the used sanitary pad that is in the bag.
I clenched my jaw hard, trying to control the sweet scent. As the sounds of her high heels clicking towards me, I make my way to the passenger side and open the door for her. "Get in." I said coldly. She obeyed and put on her seatbelt. I get to my driver's seat and begin to ignite the engine.
"Where are we going, Mr Jeon?" I asked politely while keeping my eyes in front on the road. He remain silence for a moment and then he turn to look at me. "My place." That was his reply. Wait.. I am going to his place to run errand? "I need Jin to teach you how to cook cause Jin hyung will be away for a month. He have to fly off to Japan tonight."

"Cook? Well if you told me earlier I could have wear something less formal." It came out as a tone of agitation. Mr Jeon ignore me and keep on driving until we arrive at an isolated mansion out of no where in the woods. His lives in a very secluded area. Surrounded by nature. The architecture of the house seems like a modern cabin design.
"You live here by yourself?" I asked as I stepped out of the car and adjust my skirt. "I have someone come over to clean my house while I'm out to work." He pressed the keypad on the door and it automatically unlock. "Come in.." he invited me in. "Jin hyung, I'm back." He said as he takes off his shoes and put on his home slippers before handing a pair to me.
Jin walked out from the living room in a black shirt and normal grey pants. "Ah good morning Na Ra. Nice to see you here." He smiled. "Have you had your breakfast?" He asked and I immediately shake my head. "Go and have a breakfast with Jungkook. I'll go and get something for you to change. You're not going to cook in that hot outfit of yours." Jin said as he lead me to the dining room.
"What's for breakfast, Jin hyung?" Mr Jeon asked. "English breakfast. Toast, scrambled eggs, black pudding and baked beans." His voice loud enough for us to hear. "Have a seat and help yourself with the food." Mr Jeon said before I pick up the teapot and pour the tea in his cup and placed two sugar cubes on the saucer.
"You have a beautiful home, Mr Jeon." I said as I look around, admiring the interior design. Jin walked back with two platter dish. "Here is your breakfast." He said as he placed each platter in front of me and Mr Jeon. "Call me Jungkook when you're outside the office. It sounds too formal when you call me Mr Jeon outside." He said before he look at me.

"Please dig in. Afterwards, you can get change and learn cooking with Jin." Jungkook said as he begin to eat the food. I look at my plate and I have to admit it looks mouthwatering. I clasped my hands together and close my eyes as I pray to the lord for the food. Once I'm done, I felt a pair of eyes staring at me. As I look up at my boss, he quickly look away and focus on his food.
I begin to dig in, starting by placing the scrambled eggs on the toast and take a bite on it. I chew my food slowly and look at the black pudding. "It's homemade." Jungkook said as he notice me poking on the sausage before lift it up using the fork and look at it. "Try it. Jin hyung is good at making sausages." Jungkook said as he took a bite on the black pudding that is on his plate.
"Is this the sauce?" I asked as I look at the deep red thick liquid in the small bowl. Jungkook nod. "You dip the pudding into the sauce and enjoy it." He demonstrate it and I swear he look like someone from an ad trying to advertise a fancy restaurant menu. "Go ahead and try." I dip it in the sauce and put it in my mouth and chew it. The taste is kind of overwhelming.
The meat is slightly chewy than I expected. It is also juicy and well marinated. I could taste the spices. Not just a bland salt and pepper. For the sauce, it is all too delicious to describe it. I continue savor the food and notice that Jungkook is watching me again.
"Erm I'm sorry.. that is a bad table manner." I slowed down my chewing and swallow the meat.
"Is it delicious?" He asked and I immediately nod my head which causes him to be all amused. "Well finish up your food. We don't have much time. I have meeting after lunch remember?" Jungkook said before I quickly continue finishing up my food.
Once I'm done, I stand up to carry both mine and Jungkook's plate but his hand stopped me. "Leave it. Aunt Yoon will do the dishes." He said. "Go and change. I will tell Jin hyung to prepare the ingredients for lunch." He wipes his mouth with napkin and drink up his tea. "Bathroom, second floor on your right." He told me.
I head upstairs and I almost thought that I am in a different world. Red and black with dim lights. It is too sensual and erotic. I turn to the right and enter the bathroom. There is a simple white shirt and pants for me to wear. I quickly change and hang my blouse and skirt on the hanger. As I stepped out an old lady greeted me with a smile. "I'll take this, madam. Mr Jeon and Mr Kim is waiting for you downstairs." I assume this is Aunt Yoon. "Thank you." I hand it to her and made my way downstairs. Jungkook and Jin are talking in the kitchen but stopped as I walked in.
"Well what are we going to cook for today's lunch?" I asked and Jin clenched his jawline and look at Jungkook waiting for him to answer.

The Final Test
Earth was overtaken by the Calumnia ten years ago and if it weren't for the alien Occisio race who saved the remnants of humanity, Indi's race would have gone extinct. Now, at the age of sixteen, Indi and the other surviving children are about to complete their training and return to Earth to kill the monster that destroyed their world and killed their parents. However, the children on the Occisio's spaceship have been dismissed one by one in training tests and only a few of them remain. Will Indi prove himself skilled enough to become a soldier? Or will he fail humanity as his parents did? This short story (in 13 parts) is a love letter to fans of Ender's Game and Maze Runner. (I may eventually turn this into a novel but for now, I hope you enjoy this 10,000 word story about hope and overcoming one's weakness.) Saga of the Jewels VOLUME ONE COMPLETE
Prefer to listen to rather than read Saga of the Jewels? I'm also releasing it as a free audibook serial podcast on iTunes here! Epic YA JRPG-influenced GameLit progression ensemble-cast steampunk romance fantasy! When Ryn’s hometown is destroyed, will he be able to gather together the twelve Primeval Jewels in order to defeat the evil Emperor and save the world of Mid? A fan novelization of an amazing Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist, that currently releases at least one chapter a month. Epic in that this will be very long. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint!” (-Kandaj) YA in that this should be enjoyable to~13-year-olds and upwards. Some gore, some swearing, some sex, but nothing more than PG-13. JRPG-influenced / GameLit in that it uses lots of JRPG tropes, particularly from Final Fantasy. I’ve read a lot of fan Final Fantasy novelisations and you can basically think of this as a fan novelisation of its own Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist as a game... Progression in that the characters level up over time (though not with visible litrpg stat boxes). They grow in ability through training and experience, gain new skills, individually and as a party (think Chrono Trigger) and spend time discussing and stratgeising about how to defeat their opponents. Main protagonist from book three would definitely be able to defeat himself from book one! Ensemble-cast because we've got quite the roster of misfits here. The first volume is all from the main protagonist's POV, but it starts dancing between his and different POVs thereafter. Steampunk in that we’ve also got airships, steam trains, pistols and ambiguous ‘amber bars’ that function a bit like artificial lights… Romance in that there is lots of shipping here, a few love triangles, and you may be kept guessing as to who will actually end up together... Fantasy in that we’re in a vaguely pre-modern setting. We’ve got swords, magic, dragons, dungeons, monsters, all that good stuff. * "This story captures that Final Fantasy quality perfectly. Kiddy but also grim. The characters are great... Severely underrated and needs more favorites/follows. I look forward to seeing how this story will unfold." -Gilgamesh9999 "Starting at the end and jumping backwards is not a writing style seen every day. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but you've executed a fairly crazy idea very skillfully so far. Overall, a strong start to what could be a very strong story." -RandomFF.netUser "You definitely have my interest piqued. It'll be interesting to see where the story goes... It definitely has an 'old school Final Fantasy' type feel to it, which I appreciate...Good job! I am glad you are going into more details about the story you laid out in the prologue...of course the big burning question is 'You know they lose in the the first chapter, so how will they end up winning?' That of course, is the story you're writing...so we'll see how it goes! #Following." -KyleQuicksilver (quotes are from reviews on other sites) * If you enjoy it, don’t forget to boost Saga of the Jewels on topwebfiction.com!
