You gave a loud sigh as you looked outside the window. Next to you sat the driver, the man from the FBI. He took your phone in order to examine it once you arrived at the office. He didn't tell you where you were going or how long you would be gone. He only told you that it was for your own safety.
You were already glad your parents could come along too.
"We're here." You nearly jumped up from the sudden sound as you saw that you neared a big building. However on the building stood: 'distribution center'. You raised your eyebrow and turned to the guy. Why was he taking you to a distribution center?
You drove further and then down a ramp. You came into a big, underground parking lot and the man drove even further. Going down three more floors before he parked the car. He then stepped out, grabbing your suitcase from the back of the car before opening your door.
You also stepped out of the car, together with your parents.
"Follow me." Was the only thing the man said, he was searching around. Probably checking the surroundings. You walked further until you came to an elevator. You stepped inside and you saw the gauger going up.
You stopped once you went up two levels. The doors opened and you were greeted by people in suits, people with telephones, a service desk... Huh? This really was a distribution centre. The man only walked further, expecting you to follow him.
You did and you continued to walk, through hallways, through secured doors and up and down stairs. Once you had walked for what seemed like hours you came to one big door, being secured by several heavy guarded people.
The man in the black suit walked over to the door, showed his badge to the guards, who only nodded. He then walked over to the door and placed his hand on a small pedestal. The pedestal flashed a bright green light and the door opened.
You now knew that this wasn't a normal distribution center anymore. It was a disguise. This was the headquarters of the FBI. Once the door closed behind you the man finally spoke:
"I am sorry for all this precautions, but there might be a chance that we're being eavesdropped." The man spoke before leading you through another set of hallways and corners. He then stopped in front of a door, and opened it. In the room were several chairs and at the back of the room stood a giant white screen.
On one of these chairs sat Rayne, together with her parents sitting on the chairs next to her. You then saw that there were more people. It were the parents of Sandy, Farah, Mandy and Lola. You were shocked when you saw them, they all looked like they hadn't been sleeping for months.
You guessed this was only normal. They just lost their child and had no idea whatever happened to them.
There was a man in front of the screen and once he saw you he gestured you and your parents to sit down. Once you were seated the door was closed and he started talking.
"Hello, my name is Peter. I am working for the FBI and more specifically I am working on a peculiar case. It is the case regarding the killers who have been kidnapping your children." You heard one of the mothers starting to sob loudly but the man only continued.

"This is not a normal distribution center, it is one of the headquarters of the FBI. The distribution center is only a disguise." Oh really smartass? You hadn't figured that out just yet.
"I have brought you here in order to give you information... And to prevent the two last survivors, (Y/N) and Rayne, to be taken." His hand pointed towards you and then towards Rayne.
"However this seems to be harder than you could imagine. We aren't talking about normal serial killers here. No, these killers have been on the radar for years and years. We know their names, we know their description... But we could never catch them until now."
You heard mumbling from behind you. This was all pretty confusing. He knew who they were and yet could not arrest them?
"If you know who they are, can't you release the description?" You heard someone asking and you knew it was Sandy's mother. The man only shook his head, you could almost feel the sadness dripping off of him.
"Sadly, it isn't that easy. Let me explain with who were dealing with." He said before he took a step back from the screen. The screen lit up and you saw a photo collage of a very familiar person on the screen.
It was him.
The smiley killer.
On the right was a big, drawn picture of him including the inhuman gaps in his cheeks. Probably a sketch made with the help of witnesses. Next were a few photos of his back, poorly taken pictures of him running away. At last there were a few photos of crime scenes, all perfectly shown including the blood and gore.
At the top stood: 'Jeffrey Woods'.
"This man is the killer who infiltrated your house. His real name is Jeffrey Woods, but he prefers to go with Jeff the killer. He became insane and killed his whole family, since then he's been killing innocent people. But I have never encountered a situation like this before, in the whole 25 years I am researching this guy. "
It was now that you were shocked, as if some sort of gong was hit loudly inside your head. He has been researching this guy for almost 25 years and never came close to arresting or even killing him?! There was another thing that shocked you and you couldn't help but to blurt out:
"That cannot be, when I saw him he looked like he was 19 to 20 years old! You couldn't be researching him for more than 10 years maximum!" You nearly yelled at the guy, feeling the hand of your mother on your arm. Trying to tell you to calm down.
You knew this couldn't be true. Even if this guy was older than he looked, he couldn't have been killing his entire family at the age of 3 would he? The man only stood there with his hands behind his back, waiting for you to have finished your rant at him before he spoke again.
"That takes me to the next point. This killer is not a normal killer, neither is he a normal human. In fact he isn't even a human. Next to humans, there is a new breed. One that appears in merely folklores and legends, but sadly it is true. They are called Creepypastas."
You heard the room gasping in shock and you only let yourself fall back into your chair. What is this? Fucking Twilight?! You found this shit hard to believe. No fucking way there was another species living on planet earth without anyone knowing about them.

At the same time, the FBI could've done anything to prevent anyone from discovering the truth. You knew how easily they could break into your computer, into your phone even into your house! But there was bound to be someone who discovered the truth? Like a journalist or something?
"We, the FBI, have been researching these creatures for decennia. We came to the conclusion that these creatures cannot die by normal weapons. We have fired clear shots at several Creepypastas, and we could see clearly that the bullet penetrated their bodies. But they didn't die. They also have the ability to use powers which cannot be used by humans."
Everyone on the room was quiet and you yourself had no idea what to say or even what to think. This all explains a lot, but...
"You do know that this sounds completely ridiculous." You turned to see the father of Sandy crossing his arms. Looking at the man in black expectantly.
"We have proof of our findings. I would want to invite any of you to look at it. However this is all true. Tell me (Y/N), how did the clown enter the house?" The man's eyes were now directed at you. You were looking around like a lost puppy before facing the man and answering:
"H-he came from... A puff of smoke." The man only nodded as you dropped your head. It sounded so incredibly ridiculous that you hadn't told your parents about it. The room gasped again and you knew that their minds were torn.
Did they believe you?
"Was there a door or window near, where he could slip through unseen?" You thought about that one for a while, but eventually came to the conclusion that there was none.
You slowly shook you head and the man hummed in response. The room was once again completely silent. You believed this man, it explained the reason of how these two killers could collect your phones so quickly, of how they could enter the house without being seen.
"Well, I understand that a lot of things happened that night... The sadness and sorrow felt when someone dear to us is missing is nearly unbearable... But it also might cause you to see things which can't be existing." You now turned towards Sandy's father in shock.
Was he saying that you were lying? That you had seen all these things?! What the hell! It indeed was a really tragic event, it was indeed very painful, but you never ever once doubted what you saw that night. And it certainly wasn't just a trick your mind played on you.
"I saw it too, you're saying that we are both, along with your own daughter, liars?" Rayne now asked, her eyes all swollen and red from the crying. She looked at Sandy's father with disbelief but he only kept a straight face. You knew he was acting this obstructive just because he didn't want to believe Sandy was gone.
"If you don't believe these two witnesses then mind asking one of the fathers in this room who has been researching these creatures for some while." The whole room suddenly was engulfed with an eerie silence. It was almost too painful in your ears.
But your mind was more focused on the father of one of your friends. The man who was shifting uncomfortably, silently pointing to himself with shaking hands. It was the father of Lola.
"I... I have indeed been researching these so called 'Creepypastas' for a while, yes. Sadly, they are as real as they can get. We managed to capture a dead one, thinking he might've died because of another Creepypasta's doing, and examined his body texture, his organs... They all have the same body as we have, but somehow their internal clocks doesn't work... I can't really explain any further for it will bring my company in danger."
Sandy's father was completely lost at words, nearly sinking back in his seat with red cheeks. You only stared at the man in shock, not knowing what to say or even what to think. You never knew Lola's dad was working for the government, and never expected him to work on... This.
"May I ask one question?" You turned and saw the usually calm and collected mother of Farah raising her hand in the air. Asking for permission to speak. The man in suit only nodded, gesturing her to talk.
"Is it possible that the disappearances of our daughters has to do with your company?" The whole room was once again shocked as she asked this. You never thought about that! Could it really have some connection? Lola's father seemed fairly shocked too, he probably never thought of it either.
"Impossible! My daughter knew nothing of this! She thought I was working on a new medicine. Helen didn't even know this until now!" He said, pointing towards his wife, who was sitting next to him. You could feel his anger radiating off of him.
"We cannot say for certain what had caused all this, but what we know now is who they are. We are also suspecting that there are more Creepypastas, explaining the sudden disappearances and missing persons never found." The man spoke before glancing at the audience, who all seemed to be struck by lightning.
This was a whole lot of information to process and you tried to sum everything this guy had said up in your head. But even when you had recalled every single word the FBI agent had spoken you still didn't get the answer of the main question.
The question which was lingering in your mind every single minute after that damned incident. After your mind and body had been abused by this monstrous creature.
"Why?" You called out, your voice barely audible. The man only turned to you, looking at you through his dark glasses before humming, a sign that he didn't understand your call. You only balded your fists, your delicate knuckles turning white from the force as you now raised your head.
The few strands of (h/c) hair fell in front of your face but you didn't care. You only wanted answers. From under your curtain you glanced at the man, clearing your throat before that word came out again, its way free from obstacles causing your voice to become much louder than you had wanted it to be.
"Why?!" You could not suppress the growl which followed closely behind the word, sounding like an animal dangerously crying out and alerting its prey.
"Why us? Why do they keep coming after us? Why all this effort?" You asked again, your eyes became blurry as you felt the salty liquid filling your sockets, before it slowly rolled down your cheek. The man only stood there, tilting his head before he answered:
"We don't know. As I said it has never occurred before in my whole career. I can only guarantee that they will try to finish the job. So we need to get you into quarantine. Immediately."
"It's going to be okay, honey." Your mother comforted you, her arm wrapped around your tender form whilst she was rocking back and forth on the bed. You were placed inside some sort of bunker with no windows and no physical connecting to the outside world.
There was a simple grey bed, with sheets which looked like they hadn't been used since world war II, there was a TV, a very small, metallic closet next to a metallic cabinet and a small table in the middle of the room.
You were lucky that you had packed your laptop, since you wouldn't be talking to anyone for quite some while. Yes, your parents were here now but they were expected to leave. They weren't allowed to visit you because any information on you could be used the wrong way. However you could call them or e mail them, unless it was under supervision.
If they knew about the exact location of your whereabouts then you wouldn't be safe either. Also Rayne was somewhere in this building, but you weren't allowed to see her too.
You already hated it here.
There was a firm knock on the door before there was once again silence. The only sounds noticeable were your ragged breaths and sobs and your mother comforting shushes. There was a small beeping noise heard before the door opened and a man in a black suit stood in the door opening.
The light from the other room caused his shadow to become like one big black blur, and it hung over you like a raincloud.
"It's time." The man only spoke before he moved out of the way, revealing your father who only stood there, his features showing that he was exhausted, confused and above all extremely sad. You slowly stood up, wobbling on your feet before you faltered your way over to your father.
You nearly fell into his strong arms, which were wrapped around your tiny waist as he placed a kiss on top of your head.
"I'll miss you daddy." You whispered, slowly digging your head into his chest, staining his white shirt. "I'll miss you too..." He whispered softly, letting go of you and wiping the few tears away from your face. He gave you a somewhat reassuring smile, the one he gave you when you were just a kid. When you had fallen off of your bike and hurt your knee, or that time when you hadn't finished your homework.
But this time it was a different kind of smile. It was a crooked one, as if he knew this wasn't going to be alright. As if he knew your fate was already settled.
For all you knew it was.
You then turned around to face your mother, who was only staring at the scene before her with her hands covering her mouth. The light reflected the shiny drips on her cheek as she made her way over to you. She gripped you tightly like any mother would, not wanting to let her baby go and leave you here all alone.
But she had to.
"I'm sorry." You heard her whisper and this only made you cry even more. You didn't want your parents to feel sorry for you, you didn't want your parents to start blaming themselves for all the things they didn't even had a grip on.
You ripped yourself free from your mother's eagle grip before you waved at them, telling them that the time has come to leave. Both whispered 'I love you' before they walked outside the door, glancing back at you one more time before the door closed in front of your face.
Hell begins now.
