You laughed uncontrollably, holding your stomach. Flour was snowing down every where, and Lucas was on the floor. You fell to your knees because of how hard you giggled.

"A-are you okay?" You asked in between breaths, trying to wipe tears from your eyes.

The poor boy just nodded his head, not moving out of embarrassment.

About ten minutes earlier Lucas had told you he was going to teach you how to make waffles. You'd gathered all of the ingredients, measuring them out. While measuring the oil, apparently you accidentally spilled a bit on the floor.

Long story short, Lucas had the bag of flour in his hands and stepped in the oil.

And now you were here. The two of you on the floor, covered in flour.

"I'm sorry," you said, holding back a giggle.

"I must've spilled something."

Lucas slowly sat up, wiping his glasses off.

"It's o-okay," he mumbled, his face burning red.

You smiled at him.

"Are you hurt anywhere?" You asked, crawling a bit closer to him.

"You're not bleeding are you?"

"I don't t-think so," he said, hand swiping the back of his head.

Luckily, there was no blood, but there was a big goose egg on the back of his head now. You let out a content sigh.

"Come here, let me double check," you said, patting the ground in front of you.

The boy gave you a bewildered look before slowly approaching you. He sat himself right in front of you.

"Let's see," you mumbled next to his ear.

Full body chills ran down his spine. Oh wow. He leaned into your touch as you ran you fingers delicately through his hair, examining his head for any wounds. He clenched his jaw, keeping himself in check.

Don't do anything stupid.

"Mmm, I think you're all good, but just to be safe."

His eyes snapped open as you pecked the back of his head.

"Should be all better now," you laughed.

He quickly turned towards you, wide eyes frantically searching your face. What was that for? Were you trying to say something? His mind was racing right now. You just quirked a brow at him.

"What, did you not like that?" You asked, confused by his reaction.

He quickly shook his head no. He enjoyed it very much. You just smiled before standing up, dusting the flour off of yourself. You looked down at Lucas' brown eyes. They were wide with excitement. You just offered him a hand.

"Here, get up," you said, just shaking your head.

The boy quickly took your hand, standing up. He just stood there for a moment, looking at the floor. You could tell something was off.

"What wrong?" You asked softly.

"Hmm?" Lucas hummed, snapping his head up to meet your gaze.

"I can tell you have something to say," you said, quirking a brow.

"Just say it."

Lucas swallowed a lump caught in his throat, Adam's apple bobbing.

"It's j-just that..." he trailed off.

"That what?.."

"W-well it's just t-that, well, we've h-had such a g-good day and I was wondering i-if maybe..."

His eyes were frantically averting yours. You eventually put two and two together. Slowly, you walked up to him, gently grabbing his chin. You turned his face towards yours.

"A kiss?" You asked.

He quickly nodded his head, face turning crimson. You just flashed him a small smile before gently pecking his lips. His hands shot up to your cheeks, cupping them. You smiled against the kiss, his eagerness oddly amusing to you. You gently wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer. He melted into your touch, smiling as well.

You know what, he's not as bad as he seems.

.....

Sorry for a shorter chapter, I just needed to get a chapter out there. I promise that the next one will be much longer, so get ready for that lol.
