《>Twisted minds》Chapter 16:

You turned off the water, finally feeling clean enough. You stepped out of the shower, wrapping yourself in a towel. Quickly, you dried off your hair, staring in the mirror. Dark circles were under your eyes, scrapes littered your face, and there were also a few bruises. You sighed, taking off your towel and slipping on the boxers then the shirt. At least they were comfy. You slowly grabbed the handle, scared. You didn't want to leave the safety of the bathroom. You didn't want to see him.

"(Y/n)?" His voice rang out.

It snapped you from your thoughts, head whipping up.

"A-are you done?"

"Yeah, I'll be out in a minute!" You replied, resting your forehead on the door.

If you stayed in here any longer, he was bound to get anxious again. With a deep breath, you opened the door. You saw Lucas setting a plate down on the table. His head snapped up to you, his eyes going wide.

"I-I m-made (favorite breakfast food)."

You sighed and made your way over to the table, sitting down.

"Thank you."

While you were eating you noticed Lucas was very fidgety. It was really starting to freak you out. You set down your utensil.

"What do you need?" You asked, looking at him.

He was taken aback, looking away from you. His face got really red. You quirked a brow.

"K-kiss."

Your brows furrowed. Kiss?....oh. You sighed.

"Come here."

He eagerly stood up, making his way toward you.

"Just one."

He nodded, happily leaning down. He grabbed the back of your head as he pressed his lips against yours, pressing into the kiss. He slightly moaned into your mouth as his tongue swiped across your bottom lip.

"No," you muttered against his mouth, moving your arms to push him away.

He latched onto your upper arm, tightly. His grip was painful, and you whimpered at the pain. Lucas, however, took this as another sign. He pressed himself even closer to you. You could feel the tent in his pants pressed against your lower stomach and-

"Lucas!" You shouted, tears brimming your eyes.

He pulled away, quickly. Once he saw your tears he broke down.

"I-I'm sorry I-I...I d-didn't k-know!" He exclaimed, apologizing even faster than he pulled away.

His hand reached out for you, but you flinched back.

"When I say no...it means no."

He nodded his head vigorously.

"Y-yes!" He exclaimed, pulling you into a hug.

"I-I'm s-sorry!"

You squirmed against him, but eventually gave up. You were the physically weaker one in this situation, and plus you were tired. He let go soon after and took a step back.

"H-how was b-breakfast?"

"It was good," you said quietly.

"G-good! I k-knew you l-liked th-that dish so-"

"What else do you know about me?"

It was sudden, even catching you off guard. Lucas stood dumbfounded in front of you.

"N-never mind," you waved your hands frantically.

"I don't ca-"

"Everything."

A chill ran down your spine. A cold sweat began forming on the back of your neck.

"W-what?"

"I-I know e-everything. F-from your birthday t-to y-your dirty s-secrets."

Your eyes grew wide at that.

"What secrets?"

"That y-you enjoy b-being watched-"

Your face grew red. What?!

"N-no!" You shouted, covering your face.

"You have it all wrong!"

Lucas quirked a brow.

"N-no...y-you do th-though."

You shook your head, your face was burning. This psycho had it all wrong!

"Where did you hear that?" You asked, peeking through your fingers.

"Y-your journal."

That explains it.

"No no...no. You got it all wrong idiot," you sighed into your palms.

"I'm not like that."

"B-but-"

"What did you read?" You asked him, still flustered with puffy eyes.

"I-it said:

I enjoy having eyes on me. I feel better about myself. It feels nice. I've never felt more in power in my entire life. This school year is going to be great!"

You stared at the boy in front of you, jaw slightly hanging open.

"You...you took it out of context!" You burst out laughing.

"Dumbass!"

Lucas' face grew extremely flushed as you clutched your stomach. Tears rolled down your cheeks as you laughed at the boy.

"Oh-oh my god!" You breathed out.

"Way to go champ, you have no common sense!"

He hid behind his arms as he ducked his head. He was upset that you were laughing at him, but your laugh was to die for. Sure it might not have been cute to others, but it was special for him. A fuzzy feeling started to bloom in his lower abdomen as he listened to your snickers.

You sighed, wiping away a stray tear.

"Man, you just love twisting words to hear what you wanna hear, don't you? What I meant by that was I liked when people gave me attention. I didn't get too much back at home," you sighed, placing a hand on the table.

"I feel better when I'm given attention."

"B-but you don't l-like I-it when I g-give you a-attention," Lucas whispered.

You tilted your head at his words, staring him down.

"It's because you're a fucking creep and I don't particularly enjoy being assaulted," you snapped.

Lucas just flinched back, chewing on his lip.

"I-I'm sorry."

You furrowed your brows.

"Huh?"

"I-I'm sorry...I-I just w-want to make y-you h-happy. I-I didn't have a-a lot of friends w-when I w-was younger. Y-you w-were my only o-one. I n-never socialized a-after the I-incident..."

You pressed your lips into a thin line, looking down. You tapped your index finger on the table as you felt the ravenette's eyes burning holes into you.

"Listen," you started, looking back up at him.

"You're fucked up in the head, and there's nothing we can do about it. You're too far gone. That being said, I've given you plenty of chances to redeem yourself. You just never learned to change. You can't make me happy. You kidnapped me...for fucks sake, you killed someone!-"

"H-he hurt y-you!"

"And you haven't?!" You shouted, standing up.

Lucas stood as well, getting ready to make a move if he needed too.

"I-I didn't m-mean too."

"Lucas! You're a monster!" You shouted, stomping towards him.

"As long as I'm stuck with you, I'll never be happy!"

You lunged at him, but he stood his ground. Your fists beat against his chest, but he barely flinched.

"I hate you!

I hate you!

I hate you!" You shouted repeatedly.

Fat tears rolled down your face as you cried out. You were exhausted, both physically and mentally. Your brain wasn't working right at the moment. It wasn't clear, almost like a fog was overcasting it. You wanted to...die. It was the only way out. If you ran, he'd get you. Your knees buckled as you sobbed, dragging your fists down his torso. He just gently latched onto one, rubbing small circles on your knuckles as you cried.
