《Animalistic Desires》AHaCaS Part 11

The ride in the limo was extremely nerve racking. Anton and Gabriel, sat in the seats across from Cali and Rosalina. Anton was just going through his phone. While Gabriel just kept staring out the side car window. He was breathing heavily through is nose, and held his chin between his thumb and his index finger. To say he looked angry, would have been putting it mildly. Frightened, Cali just looked down at her lap, as she fidgeted with her own fingers.
"Look Gabe-". Rosalina began to say.
"Shut up Rosalina!" Gabriel growled, as he kept looking out the window. "You're in a lot of trouble right now! I don't want to hear another word!"
"It was all my fault, alright!" Rosalina exclaimed. "I was the one who convinced Cali to sneak out!"
Gabriel didn't acknowledge his sister, as his face remained hardened. He then picked up a phone receiver, that was next to him in the car. "Excuse me driver? Could you pull over please? Thank you." Soon afterwards the car stopped at the side of the road.
"Excuse me, Anton." Said Gabriel. "Could you do me me favor? Could you please go sit up front with the driver? It seems we need a private family chat." He then stared back at Cali, and Rosalina, with no emotions in his facial expressions.
"Yes sir." Anton replied. He then bowed to Cali, and Rosalina. "Ladies." As soon as Anton exited the car, and made his way into the front seat, Gabriel let loose.
"Do you have any idea the hell you two me through this evening?" Gabriel exclaimed in anger.
"Gabe listen to me!" Rosalina started to say.
"NO!" He exclaimed. "No Rosalina! You do get to talk! It's bad enough you put yourself in danger! But you put Calliope in danger as well! If I had lost-!" All of a sudden, his body began to tremble, and his eyes welled up with tears. Cali couldn't believe her eyes. Was he about to cry?
He then unbuckled his seatbelt, and lunged towards them. To Cali's surprise, he placed the both of them in a gentle headlock. Gabriel then held the both of them, in a firm embrace.
"If I had lost either with one of you!' He proclaimed, as he began to weep profusely. "I don't know what I would have done!"
"Gabe." Rosalina replied softly.
"I said shut up!" He cried. His tone was a combination of both fear, and anger. Cali couldn't help but feel guilty as he continued to cry. He then released them, and backed away. He was soon able to compose himself. Cali could not help but start to cry, as she wished she could apologize. But she had a feeling that he wasn't in the mood for an apology at the moment. His look of pure anger soon returned.

"Despite my emotional break down!" He proclaimed. "I am still angry! And maybe I will never get directly angry at either one of you. But I will get angry at the things you do! And I am beyond pissed off by the stunt you two pulled tonight! Now! We're going to go back to the hotel, and get some sleep! Then first thing tomorrow, we are heading back towards Palermo! And I will deal with the both of you, separately, and in my own way."
Cali became scared by what he just said, as her eyes widened in fear. As he looked her way, he must have noticed.
"Rest assured, I am not going to harm either one of yo in any way." He added. "Nor will I harm Cali's uncle. But I do believe that Cali was influenced by you dear sister, even though Cali is a fully functioning adult who can think for herself. However I doubt she would have disobeyed me, if you had not been so reckless. There are things about me that the both of you need to learn."
The rest of the ride was quiet, as no said a word. Cali rested her head by the cold car window, and looked up towards the stars.
Please rescue me! She thought. Please come back, and save me! But alas, he didn't come. It must have all been a dream.

As they pulled up to the hotel, Gabriel got out immediately, before the driver even had a chance to open the door for them. Gabriel then extended his hand to his songbird, to help get her out of the car, while Anton did the same for Rosalina. As soon as Rosy, and his songbird exited the limo. He couldn't believe how short their dresses were. He could feel his blood boil.
What the hell was Rosy thinking! Immediately he took off his coat, and put it around the songbird's shoulders.
"Anton, may I have your coat please." Gabriel commanded.
"Of course, sir." Anton replied as he took off his jacked. He then then handed it to Gabriel.
"Here Rosy!" Gabriel ordered, as he threw Anton's coat at her. "Put this on! The last thing I want to see is my sister, or my fiancé running around Paris looking like a couple of whores! What the hell were you thinking Rosy! I swear, if I ever find the bastards that came after you two, I will make them pay! I will cut off their balls, shove them in their mouths, and leave them to bleed to death!"
Rosy shot him a look of anger, as she threw the coat around her shoulders, but he didn't care. The songbird on the other hand was trembling. He didn't know if she was trembling from be cold, or if she feared him. A part of him want to comfort her, and try and reassure her. But he was just too angry to think about her needs at the moment. Besides, he had already—

"Ah, Mr. Esposito." The concierge said as he greeted them at the door. "Is there anything I can do for you this evening."
"No thank you!" Gabriel snapped, as they blew past him, and made their way to the elevator. The last thing he was in the mood for, was a big fat money grubbing kiss ass.
As the elevator made it way to the penthouse, the air was thick with tension. No one said a word the entire time. Good! Maybe it would give Rosy, and his songbird something to think about. The elevator doors opened, as they had actually gone straight to the penthouse suite.
"Anton." Gabriel ordered. "Please escort my sister to her room, and lock her inside. She is not to leave that room until the morning." As he looked at Rosy, her eyes widened in a look of anger. She shot him a deadly stare that no one else would dare give him.
"This way, Miss Esposito." Anton said as he gestured towards her room.
"Out of my way, you mindless eunuch!" Rosy exclaimed as she blew past Anton, threw his own coat back at him, and slammed the door shut in right his face.
Gabriel then took the songbird, by the upper arm, and escorted her to the other room. He removed the coat that he had placed around her. As he looked at her, he ran his fingers through his hair. he sighed as he started pacing back and forth. He couldn't believe what she wearing. Why would Rosy think that either dress they were wearing was appropriate?
"Take off that slutty dress." He ordered coldly.
"W-what?" She asked as she had surprised look upon her face.
Why was she disobeying him? He stepped forward and spun her around. Her body was shaking, and he quickly unzipped the back. He hated to admit it, but it was turning him on. He then place his lips next to her ear.
"I own you Songbird." He growled. "You belong to me. remember? You are mine, and only mine. I am the only man you shall ever love, and the only man you shall ever entice. And if I ever catch any man so much as looking at you inappropriately, he will suffer my unfathomable wrath. Now, either you take off that slutty abomination, or I will rip it right off of you."
Tears formed in her eyes, as she looked back at him in fear. As she removed the dress, it dropped to ground. He couldn't help but feel aroused, as she stood there in nothing but her underwear. Her almost naked body was beautiful, but she soon trembled. It all of a sudden dawned on him, she probably thought he was going to rape her.
He never wanted her to look at him like that. She was terrified of him. He wanted her to respect his authority, but to not fear him. He truly did feel love in his heart for her, and all he wanted, was the same from her in return.
He looked at her, and sighed. "I'm not going to try anything, I promise. We're just going to sleep. I'm sorry if I frightened you. As I said earlier, I'm not mad at you. But I'm mad at what you did. I know that Rosy is mostly to blame. But you have a free will. You should have know better. But she should have thought about the dangers. And my guess is that she isn't aware of how bold, and influential she can really be. So let's just get a good night sleep, and we'll all deal with it in the morning."
The songbird said nothing, as she crawled under the covers. He began to undress, as he too was soon down to nothing but his underwear. As he crawled into bed, she just lay there silent. She was facing him, and he could tell that she had fallen asleep. With that he had immediately placed his arm around her, and held her to him.
Gabriel smiled, as he place a kiss upon her forehead. He then placed the songbird's head in the crook of his neck. All of a sudden all kinds of horrible thoughts went through his head, at was those bastards had almost done. He became angry, but those feelings of anger soon turned to fear. He didn't know what he ever would have done, if anything had happed to her or to Rosy.
One thing was for sure, he would die before he would ever let anyone hurt her again. And he would never let her go. As he continued to cry, and firmly hold her close to him, the songbird began to mumble in her sleep. But he was only able to hear one thing the she said. "Please save me!"

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.
