"What do you mean their father took your sister?" she asked. "Why would he do that?"
"Because, she was the only female sea dweller left." Damor explained. "Poseidon ended the existences of all sea dwellers expect those of the two royal families. He then made us all immortal, but only within our own kingdoms."
"Why?" She asked.
"To punish us." He explained. "To be immortal, and alone, is far worse than death itself. The loneliness itself is maddening."
"But why were you being punished?" She asked.
"Because our kingdoms were at war." He explained. "The Cacaelian king killed my father, the Atlantean king, because he wouldn't join forces with them to declare war against humanity. There had always been animosity between are two peoples, but we agreed on one thing, man was evil. For centuries we just never let ourselves be known to man. But the more comfortable mankind felt about going deeper into our oceans, the more of a threat he had become."
"You think I'm evil?", she asked.
"No, of course not." He replied. "But you must admit that man has done things to our oceans that made us wary of him. My father believed there was good in all creatures, and that it what he taught me. That is one of the reasons why he didn't want to wage war, that and the destruction it would bring on everyone. But the Cacaelians King didn't like my father's answer, so he killed him."
"I'm sorry." She replied feeling sad for him.
"For what?" he asked as he furrowed his brow at her.
"That you had to go through that." She answered. "And for my kind being somewhat indirectly responsible."
"Holly, the Cacaelians were somewhat of a barbaric race." He replied. "At least the royal family was. If we had joined forces, they would have eventually betrayed us. They were looking for an excuse to start a war. So they gave me a reason to retaliate, and I declared war on them. It turned out that their plan all along was to either get us to help them conquer the surface dwellers, or to conquer us, and then attack surface. Either way the end goal was the same, entire domination of the planet."
"How did he killed your father." She asked. "What all happened?'
"When their king and his Entourage arrived, I noticed that he couldn't keep his eyes off of my sister Alliea." He explained. "Like you she was beautiful, with the same kind and caring soul. But I could tell by the way he was looking at her, that it was uncomfortable for her. But she didn't want to cause trouble, so she said nothing to our father. Plus, she thought that maybe it was all in her head. But I know it wasn't, I know he wanted her."
"So what happened?" asked Holly.
"The meeting was under the guise of a diplomatic negotiation." He replied. "But when he started talking about declaring war on humans, my father wanted nothing to do with it. Their king became angry, and struck my father down with the Cacaelian trident. You see Poseidon, gave both royal families their own tridents. Both were equal in power, so that neither kingdom would have the upper hand over the other. But they used the one thing we never saw coming, the element of surprise."
"Is that when he took Alliea?" Holly questioned.

"No." Replied Damor. "As soon as he killed my father, he got back to his territory as soon as possible. The kraken, which had always been under Cacaelian control came for him. We were no match for that beast, as it took out many of our soldiers. But the coward left his own guards behind as a diversion. I was so angry, and full of hate over what had occurred. I did something I'm not proud of."
"What did you do?" She asked while feeling some apprehension.
"I had them immediately beheaded." He replied. "All ten of them, in fact I did it myself. I don't think I was ever the same, and I know that Alliea looked at me differently after that. But I was angry, and it was soon after that, the the Great War had been declared. Many Atlanteans, and Cacaelians were killed. It got to the point that Poseidon became angry enough to interfere. He wiped out all of the under sea dwellers that did not have royal blood."
"Even the ones who were innocent?" She asked.
"The death and destruction that was caused, was far worse than mankind could even comprehend." He explained. "It wasn't just octomen, and mermen who were dying. All life, from the great white sharks, to the tiniest of algae was being destroyed. As far a Poseidon was concerned, there were no more innocent sea dwellers. So he punished everyone by ending their existence. Alliea, the Cacaelian king, and myself were the only ones that were spared Poseidon's wrath. But he made us immortal, so we would forever live with the guilt. But our immortality only exists within our borders. If either entered the other's territory, we become vulnerable. And if either royal blood line is wiped out, that the remaining one with have total control of the sea."
"But when did he take Alliea?" She asked.
"After all that had happened, the Cacaelian king never forgot about that undersea princess that had unwittingly stolen his heart." He told her. "He always found a way to spy on her. I never found out how he did it, but it was a power that he had discovered. Then one day she got too close the the border, with out realizing it. He ordered the Kraken to capture her. Telepathically she cried out to me for help, and I went looking for her. He had hidden her somewhere in his kingdom."
"Did you ever find her?" Holly enquirer.
"Yes." Damor responded. "But it took me a year. I didn't care that I could die if he attacked me in his territory, I just wanted Alliea back. My sister was all that I had. But to my surprise, by the time I found her, they had fallen in love. Not only that, but she was pregnant with twins. So because of their love for one another, we actually made peace. Even after all the hatred, and bloodshed, our two kingdoms were finally at peace. Alliea's pregnancy seemed to be a symboled of two kingdoms coming together. And for the first time ever, we were welcome in each other's kingdoms. In fact, I was there when she gave birth. I didn't even care that they were octomen, they were my nephews."
"Wait!" Cried Holly. "Are you're saying what I think you're saying?"
"Yes." Replied Damor. "Algar, and Kree, are my nephews. And they are a lot less vulnerable in my kingdom, than I am in theirs."

"If everything was growing great, what happened?" She asked.
"As I said." He replied. "My sister was the only female undersea dweller that was left. And my nephews were not the savior we had hoped for, it didn't mater to them that she was their mother. The urge to mate among Cacaelian males has alway been strong. So like Oedipus, they killed their father, and raped their mother."
"Oh my god!" She cried. "Their monsters! And they have Alicia! What happened to their mother? What happened to Alliea?"
"Kree was angry that she wasn't returning their feelings for her." Damor told her, as tears came to his eyes. "I know, because she contacted me just as she had done before. She told me how they killed their father, and how they were raping her. I then saw everything through her eyes. Algar was trying to calm Kree down, warning him that he was being too rough. But I saw the look in his eyes, it was as if he was under a spell. After Kree finished, Algar tried to comfort her, but she was done with both of them. Perhaps Algar wasn't rough like his brother, but he still forced himself on her. I guess Algar got Kree away from her. She couldn't stand the thought of her own sons raping her. They had a collection of human weapons that they had taken from ships they had pillaged over the years. Alliea found a knife, and killed herself. She was in the Cacaelian territory, so she wasn't immortal."
He then placed his hands on Holly's cheeks. As they looked into one another's eyes, both began to cry.
"That's why I had to save you that night?" He cried. "That's why I can't risk my life to save your stepmother. I can't stand the thought either one of those bastards, getting their filthy tentacles around you. If they kill me, you will belong to them. But if we conceive, they wouldn't dare attack. Even though their offspring will be one third Atlantean, ours will be one half. Our kingdom will be safe, and so will your world."
"So you want them to just rape Alicia, until she kills herself?" She asked. "You want me to do nothing? Just like you? Why didn't you try and save her while they were raping her?"
"I DID TRY AND SAVE HER!" He cried. "But by the time I got there it was too late! SHE WAS ALREADY DEAD! I took my trident with me, and Algar and I were in an epic battle. But I was in their territory, so he got the upper hand. They have these shells, that can capture voices. That's how they learned to speak different human languages over the years. As Algar and I were fighting, Kree had stabbed me from behind. The pain was so great, I cried out in agony. So Algar took my voice. That's was ten thousand years ago, that's why I couldn't speak. When I ran into him the other day, he gave it back to me. I didn't know why, but now I do. He knew you would eventually ask me about your stepmother, and he knew I would try and hide the truth from you. And now you feel betrayed."
"How did you escape?' She asked.
"Before they stole my voice, one of Zeno's ancestors heard my cries of pain." Damor explained. "His family have always been loyal to the Atlantean Kingdom. He had been patrolling the border, when he heard my cry. Algar was about to deliver the deadly blow, when Zeno knocked both brothers into a current with his tale. He couldn't hurt them since we were all in their territory, but he gave me some time to swim back to Atlantan territory. I had completely healed, as soon as I returned, but my voice was gone. Please Holly, you have to believe me. If I could save Alicia, I would. I would—."
All of a sudden he heard Zora crying our for help. Their family was in danger!
"Oh my god!" Cried Damor.
Holly could tell something was terribly wrong.
"What's is it?" She asked.
"Those bastards!" He cried. "They've released the Kraken into my kingdom. It's going after Zeno, and his family!"
"Why would they do that?' Holly cried out in horror.
"I don't know how." He replied. "But they've figured out where I am keeping you, It must be a distraction. It's not safe here. We're going to have to find a new place to live."
"I'm coming with you!" She cried. "I can help!"
"No!" Exclaimed Damor as he grabbed her upper arms. "It's too dangerous! Listen to me, stay in this cave! Do not go outside at all! I'm going to put up a forcefield around both entrances! You will be able to leave, but only I will be able to enter. They are doing this so they can try and capture you! Promise me you will not leave this cave until you see me return!"
"But!" She began.
"Holly please promise me!" He cried.
"Alright I promise." She replied "Just hurry back, safely."
"I will." He said as he gave her a loving smile. He then gave her a quick kiss on the forehead, and dove through the underwater entrance of the cave.
Holly sat down, and started to cry. She was worried for Damor. Even after finding out about Alicia, she still loved him. She may not have agreed with what he did, but she understood why he did it. She was also worried about the beautiful family of whales that she had just met. It would be devastating if anything happened to them. But she was also worried about Alicia. If those sick fucks were willing to rape their own mother, than what were they doing to Alicia?
Then, all of a sudden, she heard the faint voice of a woman crying form outside.
"Holly! Help me!"
Alicia?
"Holly you have to help me, please!" Thee voice cried out.
"Alicia is that you?" Holly cried.
"Holly, please you have to help me!" Alicia cried. "I got away! But they are angry! Holly! they're going to kill me! They're going to—NO! GET AWAY FROM ME! HOLLY! HELP!"
"ALICIA!" Cried Holly as she ran out of the cave. She had promised Damor that she wouldn't leave, no matter what. But Alicia needed her. As soon as she exited, she was horrified to see that a another octoman was standing right in front of her.
"Hello beautiful." He said with a triumphant smirk upon his face. She screamed and turned around, hoping to make it back into the cave. However to her horror, the very demon who killed her brother was now right in front of her. Now trapped, she had no where to run!
"Get away from me, you calamari freaks!" She cried.
"It's good to see you again, too, kitten." He laughed. "Just like our Alicia, you now belong to us!"

A guy reincarnated as a sloth and is too lazy to be a protagonist
Hey, so do you also love a Story about people getting isekai’d into another world into a body of a monster that can evolve? Yea, sucks that most of them are either Harems (honestly, at first I was like "weird flex but okay", but now every fucking story that looks like it could go somewhere just throws the MC a new love interest every 3 chapters or so), or idiots that trust the first human they see to not kill them. Also, is it just me, or do most of them evolve into a human-ish Form way too fast? I mean what is the point of a monster MC if the guy is practically just an overpowered human? Well, after like about 3 years I am kinda running out of good stories, so I'm gonna try to make one myself. It's probably gonna be pretty bad to be honest, but it has no harem so it is already better than 3/4 of novels out there. And I haven't even started yet! But to be serious now: The story is about a pretty lazy guy who reincarnates as a sloth....I haven't really planned more for now... well, good luck to me I guess. Also I am not sure if I want this to have blue screens yet... I mean they look pretty neat but personally I'm kind of sick of them. PS: If you wondered, no I am not the person that took the photo of a sloth with sunglasses...god, that dude must be living the Life...
