Everyday I can't stop thinking about death. Because it is all that is around me. Everywhere I look I think about it. Jonathan is worried about me. All I do is jump and hide. Any time someone makes a noise I jump. I haven't slept for a few days because I'm either scared or I'm crying. Jonathan had started staying up with me at night,but I know he's just as tired as I am. Finally getting some sleep I curled up in Jonathan's arms and laied against his chest. It worked because in my normal dream with Jonathan's arms wrapped around me I feel a protective wall around me. Maybe that's all I need.

I sit on the bar in the kitchen watching Jonathan as he makes me eggs and toast. Its been a while since I've been able to just relax with him, but hard times call for things to be taken away. He feeds me some bacon and takes the eggs off the stove. He divides them onto two plates and we sit at the kitchen table. We start talking about the past and he brings up the first time we met. He talks about how he was so mad when he found out a guard had hit me. I smiled about that day. I for sure thought I would die. I knew someone was going to capture me, but I didn't know it would be the Alpha of a pack. I smiled as he held my hand and we kept talking. He brought up his attempted first date with me. He took me to a pretty clearing in the forest that had a beautiful lake on the inside. We stayed there for what seemed like hours.

"You splashed me with water!" I yell.

"Because you weren't listening me!" Jonathan says.

I shake my head,

"I was listening to you. When we we're sitting on the rock I was admiring you."

A small blush comes across my face. His hand comes into my cheek and his thumb makes small circles.

"Its been a long time Renee."

I nod and kiss his hand before breathing in sent. I open my eyes and see his eyes glazed over. Before I can ask what's wrong someone mind likes me.

A guards frantic voice sounds inside my head.

Jonathan asks.

I add.

I ask.

What could they want?

* Jonathan says.

Jonathan and I hurry down the hall. We run to the end and into the grand hall where the King and Queen are gathering people and giving orders.

"Luna." Diane says, "We are going to fight along side them. We first are to get all the Woman and children in a safe place before guarding them with four guards."

"How many have been rounded up?"

"Almost all of them, but we have a few more people to go." She says while ushering some people to the back doors.

Jared comes up and grabs Diane whispering in her ear. She nods and there's worry and anger in her eyes,

"They've broken through the west wall and are charging towards the gate."

"We got this." Jonathan says nodding towards Jared.

Jared smiles nodding back and kissing Diane. He whispers something to her and she nods with a small smile. She looks at me,

"We will finish up here and go."

I nod and start helping people get to the safe room. The guards come with a few more people before they close off the door and stand guard in front of it. Me and Diane run down the hall stripping off our clothes. Once we're completely naked we shift. Our bones crack and shape taking the shape of our wolves. We land on all fours and bust through the palace doors. Everyone is fight and I frown knowing I have to find Jonathan. My eyes scan the crowd of fight wolves until they land on Jonathan fighting another Alpha. I growl and jump off the stairs right into the battle tackling a wolf in front of me. He growls and claws at me, but I bite his neck and rip before running again. Jonathan is far off in the middle of the fighting field. Looking around I see that there are at least four packs here. Meaning there's four Alpha's.looking around I only see three. Where's the four__. Found him. He knocks me to the side making me hit a pair of my own fighting warriors. They push me up before finishing off the one they we're fighting. They turn around and join me. I growl and crouch down letting my teeth show. He copies this and lunges at me. I move aside and grab his neck when he lands. My warriors bite at his legs and claw at him. He growls and tries shaking me off. My grip gets stronger and I can taste the thick liquid start pouring into my mouth. He flips and I fall off. He is hurt but he is trying to heal himself. I take this advantage to tackle him and bite him again. He growls and bite down hitting his windpipe. He let's out a whines and turns human. His wolf is dead. I smirk over his body and run off letting my warriors finish him off. I run past many fighting people. Bite the leg of a wolf letting the other warrior take advantage of the distraction. I finally reach Jonathan and jump into the back of the Alpha is fighting. I bite down hard on his shoulder before he throws me off. He looks at me and growls before jumping at me again. Jonathan knocks him away from me and I bite his neck. I hold on tight as flings me around trying to break free. Another wolf hits me and I fly. I land hard on the ground and the other wolf starts attacking me. He bite and snaps at me. I shake and try jerking away. I finally get a kick in his stomach and he whimmpers before I bite his neck. He yanks back causing me to keep most of his flesh. He lays on other ground chocking and finally turns human. Another wolf kills him off once this is done. I run back to see another wolf attack Jonathan and I freeze looking around me. Something isn't right. I look around and see nothing. Exactly. I hear growling and whimmpering. I turn knowing its Diane. I see a glimpse of white fur and dash towards it. I see an Alpha and a few others surrounding and attacking her. I push myself to run faster. A wolf lunges towards me. I latch onto his side and throw into the crow if other fighters. I keep my path and run towards her. Whe n I'm close enough I tackle the first wolf in front of me and them stand by Diane. She nods towards me and we both growl. The Alpha looks between the two of us and I realize he is confused. He shakes his head and comes at me. J doge him and turn around resuming attack position. He turns towards me and growls a loud growl before running at me again. This time I attack him head on. I claw at him end up matching his stance and standing on my back legs. I claw at him and bite anything that comes close to me. Finally latching on to something I knock him down. Once I'm back on all fours I'm attacked again. This time by another wolf. Diane is attacking a wolf that was about to lunge at her. I bite and thrash around trying to rip it apart. I clawed at the wolf until I hear him howl in pain. I bite his neck, but get pushed off before I can even sink my teeth in enough. Taking a good look at the wolf I realize it is a she-wolf and her mate is the one that attacked me. I look at Diane and she tackles the male distracting him. I grab the female by the neck and bite down hard. I hear Diane howl and I jerk my head ripping out her throat. Diane is laying on the ground with the male at her throat. The female let's out a finally howl then goes limp. The males head jerks towards me and his eyes widened. At that moment I launch towards him killing him once my teeth since in ripping out his windpipe. I turn to we Diane stand back up and nod towards me saying she's okay. Thunder sounds all around us and it starts rainningm looking up at the sky I see how its getting dark and the clouds look angry. My fur is soaked now and I see Diane shake away some water in her face. I look at the Aloha that was attacking Diane when I first got over hee and he locks beyond mad. Killing a mated couple in his pack probably killed him on the inside. I'm about to launch at him when all hear the most soul shattering howl slash scream. The Alpha's head snaps to the right and I see a small brown she-wolf drop to the ground. He brought his Luna. I think to myself. Now she's dead.bhow could he be so stupid? He brought Hus Nate who is probably no where near as powerful enough, judging my her size, to even take down a single one of my warriors. The Alpha growls and launches at Diane knocking me I bro the crowd of fighters. I realize Jared was the one to kill her. A wolf is now on top of me and he's is claw at NY chest. I claw at his under belly sinking my claws in with every stroke. He howls and I bite his neck becmfore throwing him to the side. I see the alpha attacking Diane. She looks weak as she backs away. Ibsee Jared running towards her, but there is no way he will reach her in time. She howls as the Alpha snaps at her leg. I run as fast as I can and jump on top of the Alpha just as he is about to rip out her windpipe. I grown and rip at everything that enters my mouth. I claw and sink my teeth into the fleshy part of his stomach. He howls and tries to shake me off, but had tight and bite hard on his leg. He collapses and I take that time to jump on him and snap his neck. I turn to Diane who is in her human form coughing and spiting up blood. I turn human and rush over to her. Warriors make sure no one bothers us as I cradle her in my arms. I brush hair from her face and look into her eyes.

"Renee." She whispers.

"Its okay Dianeim here." I tell her rocking back and forth."

"Y-you have t-t-to fin-ish this."

"No Diane! No! We will do this together! Me and you!" I scream feeling the tears stream down my face.

"Stop and j-just listen." She studders, "if you u-use your p-power th-then you can s-s-stop th-this war."

I shake my head frantically,

"No Diane! I don't know how!"

"Y-yes you do." She says touching the side of my face.

She closes her eyes and I feel her shautter. I look up and around before my eyes land on Jared's lifeless body on the ground still in wild form. I look back to Diane and she opens her eyes,

"A-at l-least I w-wont go a-alone."

I shake my head,

"You we're never alone."

I lean down and kiss her forehead and then her blood stained hand. She smiles painfully and closes her eyes for a moment,

"I feel h-her." She whispers.

"The moon goddess?" I ask looking at her becoming paler by the second.

"Yes." She say, "she's s-so beau-tiful."

I'm sobbing hard now and I cradle her against my chest,

"Please don't leave me." I whisper.

I feel her soft lips kiss the side of my cheek,

"Never give up love." She whispers.

I nod look down at her. The sight is beautiful. One eye is her natural color, but the other eyes is black with a flash of gold representing her wolf,

"Let us live on in you." He wolf says

Her eyes close and a single crystal year falls down her face shining in the moon light before mixing in with her blood stained face.

Pain and anger swarms through me as I stare down at Diane lifeless body in my arms. Its almost like at the water stops falling. It freezes in mid air. Everyone stops fighting and their now staring at me. I'm shaking worst than I do normally. All my emotions sworm inside of me and I stand up on my feet. My wolf burst out of me before I can control what is happening, but I feel different. My arms and body are bigger as I stand tall. I feel all my emotion come bursting out all at once and I growl making the very ground underneath us shake. Every wolf here whimpers and bows there head to the ground in submission.
