《I Cant Help Falling In Love With You {L.S}》We'll Meet Again (II)

Day quickly turned to night as the newly reunited pair sat on the rock, watching as the changing colours of the sky beautifully reflect on the now calming waters before them.
"Hey Lou?" Harry mumbled, his head still laying in the boys lap
"Yeah Haz?"
"How is this possible? Why did we meet like this?" He asked
"We were meant to be" he laughed softly, straightening out his legs as Harry let out a small giggle
"Really though? It's a really weird coincidence, don't you think?"
Louis pondered for an answer for a while
"I think that this all happened for a reason. You know how particles and stuff work, with all the patterns and how they're predictable? I think we're like that too. If you think about it, were so small and insignificant in comparison to the universe. But we're also so big in comparison to cells and stuff" Louis spoke softly
"That probably sounded dumb" he cracked a smile
"No, it was cute" Harry smiled
"We could just be dust floating in the wind out of a car vent. And it's scary, how little we know about things like that. Things shouldn't be forced, but when they happen like this, naturally, we can't ignore them" Louis spoke softly as he ran his hand through Harry's sunkissed hair.
"I'm too sober for this" Harry chuckled, buring his nose into Louis' calf.
"But I agree, I don't want to ignore this. Do you?" He
"Don't think I could if I tried" he smiled

It was a month later, they were taking things slow and they were both more than comfortable with that.
Harry's eyes grew heavier as he yawned, laying his head back on Louis' shoulder. Louis had to stop himself from kissing the boy.

Niall had finally grew the balls to ask Ashe out, and they've been together for 2 months. They were cuddled up together under a blue fluffy blanket on the other couch.
The credits of the movie rolled over the screen, the room once illuminated with flashing colors was now dark.
Harry stayed pressed up against Louis' shoulder, not making any effort to move, as Niall and Ashe were already sleeping peacefully.
"Bed time Harry" Louis whispered
Harry's green eyes cracked open, a dopey smile spread across his face as they stood up, walking across the creaky wood floor trying not to wake up the sleeping couple.
They cracked open the door, laughing softly as they raced down the carpeted hallway. Their quiet noises echoed through the desolate house.
They opened the front door and stepped outside into the cold night. The stars shined above them as they walked down the middle of the road, breathing the fresh crisp midnight air.
Louis took his hands out of his pockets as they walked in silence.
He brushed the back of his hand up against Harry's, and when the taller boy didn't pull back, he made the move to take a hold of his cold hand, interlocking his small fingers with Harry's.
He watched as a light blush crept over his cheeks, a small nervous smile on his lips.
Harry swung their hands back and forth, a giggle escaping his cold lips.
Louis looked up as a cold drop of water patted him on the forehead. The rain fell down, hitting the ground with a splat.
Harry's hand tightened around Louis' as he let out another giggle, pulling him forward through the rain.
They ran and laughed, stomping in puddles as they got soaked.
Harry wrapped an arm around Louis waist, interlocking their fingers with his other hand as they spun around and danced on this desolate road. Darkness on all sides of them as the light post cast a white glow on their skin.

In a sudden move, Harry picked Louis up, spinning him around as the rain continued to fall. The pair turned into a giggling mess as their hair plastered to their faces and necks.
They stopped moving, Louis arms resting on either side of Harry's shoulders.
By now they were soaked to the bone, their clothes were vacuumed to their skin and droplets ran down their faces, across their brows and dripped off their hair.
Louis cradled Harry's face as he brought their lips together. It seemed as if this was straight out of a movie.
Harry smiled into the kiss, slowly moving his lips along with Louis'. They pulled back and rested their foreheads together.
"Can I tell you a secret?" Harry asked, Louis nodded, pecking him on the forehead.
"I think I'm in love with you"
The rain continued to fall
"I know I'm in love with you" Louis replied
They connected their lips once more, and everything was right in the world. In their world, because that's really all that mattered at the moment.
•
2 weeks later, Eleanor moved out of their flat, and in with Taylor. Ashe moved in with Niall, and Harry was about to move into Louis' flat.
Louis asked him out one night last week, back to the rock where they had their first kiss. That night he made them official.
Even Harry's mom noticed he looked alot happier, but she didn't know the reason.
"What's got you in such a good mood today, hm?" She laughed as Harry set the table for them
"I met someone who makes me the happiest I've ever been" he replied with a wide grin
"And who might that be?"
"Louis"
"Louis? The Louis?"
"My Louis" he nodded
Anne brought him into a hug
"Bring him over for dinner tomorrow, I want to see him again" she replied
•
Louis agrees happily to the dinner, he stood outside Harry's door, clutching a yellow rose close to his chest.
He brought his hand up to the door, knocking 3 times before Harry opened it.
Even though they saw eachother earlier that day, Harry immediately engulfed him in a hug, nestling his face in the crook of his neck.
They stood there wordlessly, rocking slightly back and forth on their feet, arms wrapped tightly around eachother.
Anne peeked her head around the corner, leaning against the doorframe as she watched the boys love eachother.
"Louis, it's so good to see you again" she said, making them turn their heads around to look at her
"Anne-" he looked at her worried,
What if she hates me for moving away and breaking up with him?
She cut him off by bringing him in for a hug
All 3 of them caught up for a few hours, eating dinner and laughing. The boys never left eachothers sides, they always had to be touching in one way or another, whether it was holding hands, hugging or just interlocking their legs under the table.
They've been away from each other for too long, they wont take another moment for granted.

The Painter: A fantasy psych thriller and epic
*** June 21th Update ***- New chapters are being posted! I haven't figured out a schedule yet, but stay tuned!- Thank you to everyone who has read and reviewed, I'm happy to say The Painter is in the top 200 best-rated fictions. - Readers of The Painter have suggested reading through Chapter 6 before making a decision on this book.- The story takes place in the Lootverse, but you don't need a canonical understanding to appreciate the storyFinally, a warning or reader beware: This is not an action novel (despite the coming fight scene) but a slow-burn psychological thriller of sorts. For a time, the Painter's life was simple. He lived in the small town of Kinon (called Kinney by locals) with his wife, Kahriah and his son, Thesdon. The story begins with him alone and unable to travel more than a few hundred miles from his home. For 5 years he tried to chart his prison until one day a letter appears with a mysterious commission that will see him test his condition and his boundary. Set roughly 50 years before the impending end of days (from Loot canon), The Painter is a story about loss, grit, and exploration of a seemingly normal man in a world of magic and monsters. The Painter will follow the man on his adventure to restore his family, uncover his commissioners and discover the nature of his condition. Loot is the decentralized, global, community built fantasy world based on Dom Hoffman's art/tech experiment: Loot. Fun fact: The cover of our book is painted by the artist, who the MC is loosely based on and the same person painting the Banners (digitally) IRL for an art/worldbuilding project.
