Meera came out of the restroom wrapping herself in a white towel. Her hair is wet and water droplets from her hair dripped on the floor. She took a white T-shirt and grey pant from the closet.
After wearing her clothes Meera left her hair free to dry. She went near the window and the rain still pouring without a stop. She came out of her room and went down silently.
Vikranth still in his yesterday costume standing before the door and talking to someone on the phone. He looked tensed and he didn't notice Meera.
"Look I will come in ten minutes, the orders have to be sent by today itself. Can't you understand that Arjun?" he said in an irritated tone.
Meera heard this and looked at him. Vikranth suddenly stopped talking and turned, he looked Meera but she immediately shifted her gaze and walked into the kitchen.
"Arjun I will come now, wait in my office", he said and ended the call. He walked to his room
Meera prepared coffee, not only for her but also for Vikranth, but she doesn't want to give that to him. So she kept that in the kitchen itself. She came out of the kitchen and sat on the couch. When she was about to take a sip from the cup.
Vikranth came out hurriedly. He dressed in a formal and walked without looking her. Meera didn't call him or stopped him, just looked him leaving the house.
She thought in this weather where he's rushing to go. But why I have to care about him, ah... my stomach making a sound I have to prepare something to eat, Meera mentally said and drank her coffee in a gulp.
Vikranth went to his industry, he got down and walked even it is raining. He walked to the warehouse of his industry.
Seeing him his manager came with an umbrella. "What happened why these goods are still in the warehouse?" he asked him.
"Sir due to the heavy rain our truck drivers are not willing to go", he replied.
"But these goods have to be in Mumbai by this weekend are they playing," he asked him again.
"I don't know sir, but I think they are taking revenging for not increasing their salary" the manager.
"Where is Arjun?" he asked.
"He's in your office, can I call him", he asked me.
"No there's no need", he said and thought for a minute.
"Ok I know what to do", he said and went to his office.
Arjun got up from his seat and looked Vikranth. "Arjun call that drivers to our office especially the leader, we have to talk with them", he said.

"For what", Arjun asked in a surprise.
"You call them", he said and tapped his finger on the table.
(AFTER 20 MINUTES)
Vikranth is looking at the pouring rain from the window, he's still in his wet shirt and didn't care
"Excuse me sir" manager came inside along with three members.
"Sir they are our drivers", he said and the three members just looked at him blankly.
He observed them for a minute, "Okay I am coming to the point. If you people can't do this then I don't have another option than taking you all out from this job. I am not saying this to panic you... I want my workers to be sincere in the work. I know you people can drive even in the worse climate than this" Vikranth said and his dominative gesture proved that he's confident of what he planned.
"But sir we need an increase in salary, then only we can accept this" one man said.
"I can't increase the salary now, but I am planning on providing an insurance amount of five lakhs for all the workers. I know you people are working for us more than fifteen to twenty years. This amount will help you all. I already know that your kids are studying in our school with a scholarship, we are helping you in all possible ways, but why can't you people cooperate with us" he talked sentimentally and their heart was melted with his concerned words. Arjun looked at him shockingly.
"OK sir, we will continue the work", they said and Vikranth smiled with satisfaction.
After they left, "Are you crazy, why you're giving five lakhs insurance. For this you must have increased their salaries", he said.
"I did right, actually other company drivers are getting high salary than our workers. But increasing the salary will be a little loss for us. Think about this Arjun if we are increasing the salary it shouldn't be less than three thousand that's what they demanded, but if you calculate with the amount of money with the insurance, it will a profit for us. And in this situation we can't search for other efficient workers" Vikranth said.
Arjun nodded, "You proved that you're having more brain than me", Arjun said with a chuckle. Hearing that Vikranth laughed. "Now only you figured that I am having more brain than you?" Vikranth said teasingly and stood up from his seat.
They went to the warehouse, Vikranth overlooked how the work is going on. He stood even he got wet.
After finishing his work, Vikranth again went to his office and worked for some time because next two days are weekend, he can't come here and some other plans are there for him, so he finished some important works.

He noticed the time is 1.00pm and the rain is somewhat ceased.
He came out of his office and walked to the parking lot. He drove the car to the house. When he reached near his street, the car stopped suddenly. He tried to start again but nothing worked out.
He searched for an umbrella but thankfully there's nothing. He got down from the car and pressed the anti-theft lock. He walked in the drizzling rain and when he reached home he's fully wet.
He stepped into the house, and Meera rushed from the staircase with a towel. Vikranth looked at her surprisingly, like whether it is Meera?
Meera slowly walked towards him and gave the towel. But Meera carried another towel in her hand, she walked out of the house carrying that.
Vikranth is confused and by rubbing his hair with the towel he followed her. She went to the entrance of their and suddenly sat near the rose plant.
Vikranth tried to see what she's doing, but she's facing her back to him. Finally, Meera stood up and turned. In her hands, there's a small cat and that towel is around that cat. She walked into the house crossing Vikranth's intense gaze on her. Vikranth smiled thinking of how sweet Meera is!!
Now she got rained, but she dried that cute little cat. Vikranth watched all this and Meera looked him like she wanted to ask something.
"It's raining outside..... Can you allow this cat to stay here for today", she asked hesitantly.
Vikranth nodded his head controlling his smile. Meera smiled lightly.
She felt so bored. Today she took leave from her work and decided to quit this job at the end of this month. She doesn't want to work there and she decided to search for a new job.
She came out of her room when she felt so restless of constantly thinking about all these things. She watched the mesmerizing drizzling rain. That time she noticed a small cat hiding in the bushes, it is all wet and somewhat giving a weird shivering sound. At the same time, she saw Vikranth was walking in the rain covering his with his hands and he's all wet. She went into her room and picked a towel for the cat, she thought about Vikranth for a minute. Her heart pitied for him even her mind too. So she took another towel for him.
Vikranth handed the towel to her and asked her to dry herself. Then only she realized that she's also wet.
He went to his room to change his dress and came out wearing shorts and hoodie. Meera was still sitting on the couch and looking at the cat. Vikranth went into the kitchen and filled his plate with rice, sambar and potato cauliflower gravy. It looked delicious, and obviously, it tasted the same. He watched Meera by eating his food.
Meera felt so uncomfortable with his staring, she stood up with the cat and went to her room. She doesn't know why her heart is beating fast whenever she looked into his eyes.
Meera took a small box, she folded the towel and placed that on the box. Then she gently placed the cat in that box. She gently stroked the cat's head, she smiled seeing the cuteness of that cat.
Meera thought to change her dress because it is wet and she felt so cold. She changed into a salwar and again blankly sat on her bed.
She looked at the cat and that gave a sad look to her. She thought of bringing some milk for that little cat. Meera opens the door and came out, that time a heavy thunderstorm made her shock and again the rain started to pour. Hearing the thunderstorm Vikranth also came out of his room. They looked at each other. She's near him, and a very small distance is between them. But he can't do anything. Vikranth realized he has to do something to eradicate this silence between them.
Meera felt really uncomfortable, she doesn't want to be his wife, and she doesn't want to accept his love. But she can't live like this. Even if two strangers are staying in a house, there will be at least a formal conversation between them. But here there's nothing. She even thought to eradicate this silence.
She walked crossing him, but she stopped in halfway when Vikranth called out her name.
"Can I get a coffee Meera?" he asked hoping that she will say yes.
Meera thought for second and nodded her head as yes. She went to the kitchen and poured some milk into a small cup. Then prepared coffee for Vikranth. She went up carrying both.
First, she went into her room and placed the milk near the cat and it started licking it. She came out of her room and went to the balcony where Vikranth is standing and watching the rain.
Seeing her Vikranth smirked. She didn't look at his face and gave the cup to him. Then they both watched the rain...
That time Meera decided to ask the thing that she is having in her heart for the past two days.
