She looked familiar.
"Neha?" said Ahaya from behind me.
The girl looked behind me and squealed in happiness.
Ahaya ran and hugged her.
Okay, question time, who is she?
How are you my lil doll?" asked Ahaya
"Appi! salaam!" she said smiling
"Wa alaikum mus salaam! How are you?" said Ahaya laughing with her
"I am good, i could not wiat to meet you!" the girl called neha said
I cleared my throat.
"Oh right, Arshad, this is Neha, Neha Arzoo Luqmaan! My little sister!" said Ahaya
I stood there dumbfonded
when did she have a little sister!?
"She was in boarding school as these years so she-" said Ahaya indicating Neha has no idea about all this things going on.
I nodded.
"As salamu alaikum!" said Neha smiling brightly at me
"Wa alaikum mus salaam! Arshad!" I said
"I know, my sis talks alot about you!" she siad
I looked at Ahaya and she blushed deep red.
"I gather it was not so good things?" I said
Neha grinned
"Not really but she praises you alooott!!" she replied
"Okay! That i did not expect!" i said smirking in Ahaya's direction
"Neha?" said Ahdia coming in the view with Fawaad. Guess they are okay now
"Ahdi appi!!!" squealed Neha and hugged her.
"And you must be Fawaad jiju?" she said looking at Fawaad who laughed.
Ahaya stood by me
"I gather she talks alot?" I say to Ahaya
"No, she blabbers alot!" she replied
"Oh but i like her, she is so cute... like the older sister!" I winked at her
"Arshad!" she whined as she pushed me playfully
I laughed.
"Wanna go out?" i aksed her
"No!" she replied playing with her ring. it was not my ring but she played with it.

"Ahaya I-" I started to say but ammi beat me to it.
"AHHHAAAYYA!!!" She screamed as she hugged my fiance-to-be
Ahaya laughed and hugged her back.
"Oh i see Neha is also here! come here baby!" said ammi to Neha who was smiling at her.
I wonder how ammi knows Neha? hmmm.... Ah well, it was ammi we were/ are talking about here! She knows everything!
Neha hugged her and coughed when ammi's hug became violent and bone crushing.
"Ammi, leave her! She will die!" I said to ammi.
"Oh Arshad, we needed to talk!" she said
I nodded and she started off in Turkish. sometimes I wish she did not learn such languages. I would not have to keep up with her language disaster.
'Arshad, we need to plan the type of nikah you want!" she said in Turkish
"Ammi simple please and ask Ahaya!" I replied in Turkish
"No! She said to ask you!" she replied back
"Ammi, Ammi, Ammi, just ask her! Please!" i said
"NO!" she replied back in turkish.
Please don't switch languages, please, please!!! (I kept chanting that!)
"Fine!!!" she p[ut her hand up in surrender as she spoke in Turkish.
Yup thats how me and ammi communicate at times, in Turkish, her fave language.
I turned aorund to see Fawaad smirking, Ahdia, Ahaya and Neha looked at us as if we were from outer space.
"What?" I aksed them
"Oh they are just amused at the language, Arshad!" said ammi
She went to Ahaya and hugged her again.
"My soon-to-be daughter-in-law or just daughter?" asked ammi looking at Ahaya over Ahaya's shoulder.
"Daughter!" replied Ahaya smiling at ammi.
"Awwww...what about me and Neha?" asked ahdia as ammi laughed but opened her arms to let them in the group hug.
"Bhai, why do I have a feeling that Ahaya Bhabhi and Masi are gonna kick your butt after marrige?" asked Fawaad and I let out a low chuckle
"You hae a feeling they would? I know they would!" I replied

He laughed and my phone buzzed. I checked the message.
Arshad,
Congrats for your wedding to the whore but I know you did great!
Kadeer
"Hey Fawaad?" I said
"Yeah?" he replied
"Do they give phones in jail here?" I aksed him
"I don't think so!" he replied and Ichecked the number. It was unknown so...
I have to reply and I knew perfectly what.
Dear Kadeer.
Well thank you! Ahaya is not a whore and I assume you do not know the status of women in Islam? well here is something that will remind you of it.
I attached the image that i had in my phone about status of woman in Islam and sent it to him. (Image on the side)
I sighed.
"Arssshhhaad!!" that was ammi, again.
"Yes mah?" I said as I checked the time. It was almost Zuhr.
"Can you go and check the flowers and all on the terrace?" she asked me using her puppy dog eyes.
"Ammi, i am going for my zuhr prayers, can I do it later?" I aksed her
Prayer is important alright!
"Okay! But be back soon!" she said as she walked away.
I smiled and then called up Fawaad, Talha and Rehaan bhai so we can go pray.
********
"Arshad, how about this one?" asked ammi
I was in the middle of the selection of dresses for ammi, masi and badi mah. Neha and ahdia were also selecting the dresses while Madiha Bhabhi was not there.
"As salamu alaikum!!" screamed Madiha bhabhi
Speak of the devils wife and she appears! Don't tell that to bhai, he will eat me alive!
Everyone muttered their replys and I noticed that there was some other girl with her .
"Ruhaysha!!!!" semi yelled ammi.
Okay now ammi is creeping me out! How does she know all unknown girls?!!
"Aiiza aunty!" said the girla nd walked to hug ammi. she was girly ublike ahaya and Ahdia.
"Hows my baby girl?" asked Badi mah as she hugged her too.
"Oh Arshad, meet Ruhaysha, well Ruhi" said ammi
"salaam!" she muttered smiling.
"wa alaikum mus salaam" I replied
"Ruhiii!!!" yelled Ahdia and Ahaya.
Why is everyone yelling!?!!
"Ahaya, Ahdia!" said Ruhi and walked to hug them.
"Arshad, have you-oh damn!" said Rehaan bhai.
I turned to him.
"what?" i aksed him
"When did she come?" he asked looking at Ruhi
"Umm... now. Mads bhabhi bought her here!" I replied "Why?"
"Oh.. ah... i- she-" he stuttered and Fawaad and Talha bhai laughed from behind us.
"She is his fiance-to-be!" explained Talha bhai
I smirked
"Another bhabhi eh!" I said and Rehaan bhai blushed deep red.
"She is just- well was just a co-worker-" he said
"Wait she is a cop?" i asked him and he nodded
"Ohhkkaayyy!" I said as the rest chuckled
"Where are Adnaan and Azma?" asked Fawaad looking around for them.
"Right here!" said Azma from the front door.
"Where were you!?!" asked Talha bhai as she hugged each one of us.
"Oh.. ammi had some shopping to do and i had to accompany her!" she said
"Ammi is here?" said Rehaan bhai confused.
"No bhai, I mean Adnaan's ammi!" she replied as she also yelled out the girls names and ran to meet them.
I closed my ears at this. It was too much of a ear ache.
"AARRSSSHHHAAADDD!!" yup ammi again.
"Yes ammi!" I said as I walked to her.
The rest followed us.
"Choose one for Ahaya, you have to gift her!" she said
"Ammi, call her to choose, I will pay!" I replied
"No you choose and you pay!" she replied and then switched to Malay language.
"You do it or else.." she siad threateningly
Fawaad and Talha bhai laughed at this
"Ammi!!!!" I whined in Malay
"Arshad, choose!" she said sternly
Then she switched language to urdu
"Arshad.. this one?' she asked in Urdu.
I hsook my head and took out my phone. I messaged Ahaya to come downstairs to select thigns.
She replied a while later saying she will be there and minutes later she came in the hall with the rest of the "Squealing Girls"
She set by ammi and ammi changed her language to hindi.
"Oh.. I see Arshad has already called you!" said Ammi wiggling her eyebrows.
Ahaya blushed deep and looked at the clothes.
I smiled at her and she smiled back, leaving my heart to flutter stupidly in my chest.
I don't think I will ever get used to that feeling.

The Edge of Endless
Due to some unforseen and significant life events, this story will be on hiatus for a time. Reborn into a strange but familiar world, Alex makes it his mission to uncover the mysteries of governments, gods, and the arcane realm known only (and inaccurately) as the Unending Depths. Slowly but surely, he grows in ability and meets new and interesting people. tEoE is an epic fantasy LitRPG with a focus on plot, writing, and hopefully original twists on the standard formula of 'MC picks cool class, levels up'. Give it a read if any of the following appeals to you: > 3000-5000 words per chapter, chapters released at least once per week, usually several times. Expect good grammar. > Story focus on illusions, secrets, and traps (along with the usual combat and character stuff). > Progression fantasy, but one where progress is meant to feel earned, moderately paced, and reasonable. Some advantages, but not big, unfair ones. > If a random reader can work out that putting a big rock in a bag of holding, lifting it, and then dropping the rock is free energy, then so could an adventurer who's owned a bag of holding for twenty years. Side characters have brains too. > Blue boxes! Levels! [Classes]! [Skills]! Loot! > No uncomfortable sexist undertones. Ambivalent about including relationships. Definitely no harems. There are a number of arcs planned and this will be ongoing for some time. I am very appreciative of the kind reviews and comments left so far.
8 179The Monster Inside: The First Vampire
Despite appearances, there was once a time where monsters did not exist. Where peace and prosperity reigned over all life. But those sinful and demonic forces that had hidden themselves in the shadows just couldn't help themselves could they? They wanted a piece of that prosperity too. They wanted to taint it, corrupt it, revel in its dark side. This is the story of a boy who was tainted. Of a boy who unintentionally bore a seed of sin and who in his naivety let it out. This is the story of how that boy was shamed and disgraced. Of how he was outcast for simply being. This is the story of how that boy learned to embrace the darkness that made him different. A darkness that would later make him known as the Lord of Night. Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.
