As soon as I reached up to my room I answered the call.
"As salamu alaikum wa rahmatullah hi wabarakatubu, Arshad Khan speaking" I said.
"Mohammed Arshad Uzayr Khan when I call you, ALWAYS ANSWER!" screamed a familiar voice
I was startled. Why did she call so damn suddenly!?!!
"Why did you call?" I said coming to the point.
"AWWWW..... I am good and how are you!?" she said sarcastically.
"What do you want?!?!!!" I said sighing
"Fine!" she said giving in.
"I wanna know everything about Naqeebah Ahaya Luqmaan. I wanna know everything about her!" she said fiercely.
"Ah now what did that poor soul do to you?" I asked her
"ALOT!" she said angrily.
"Okay why do you want me to do it? you could easily get people to do it for you by your manipulative skills" I said, my lips twitching slightly.
"Oh you know..... just the fact that if you don't do it, you know what will happen" she said.
"Why are you such a......." I said
"Call me whatever you want..... but I want to know everything about her!" she said
"FINE!!!" I replied in frustration.
"You better be serious!" she said
"What do you mean?" I asked her clearly frustrated
"Oh you know.." she said seductively.
Damn I hated girls who did that! No respect at all....
Before she could speak I cut the damn call.
I sighed as blood pounded in my head. How could I fulfil her wishes?
A knock came on the door followed by my Ammi's entrance.
"Arshad?" she said
"Salaam Ammi" I said
"Arshad You okay?" She asked me
"Yes Ammi, I am fine!" I said as she put her hand on my forehead.

"Ya Allah, Your forehead is hot as a boiler!" she said
"Ma It will be fine soon! I just need some rest..." I said as I held her shoulder.
"Okay but by dinner if you are not okay, We are going to a doctor!" she said
I hated hospitals. It was a thing in me. Hating hospitals. Damn.
I sighed in defeat.
"Okay" I said smiling.
She smiled victoriously and walked out of my room gracefully.
"Be down for lunch hun" she shouted over her shoulder as she walked out closing the door behind her.
I set on my bed thinking about the call. I had to tell Abba about it.
I got up and flipped my laptop open.
I took out my Sighania comapny projests and started working on them.
But my mind kept travelling to the name she said.... Naqeebah Ahaya Luqmaan. I feel I know her.... but.... I didn't know who she was..... hmmmm....

I opened my eyes to an unfamiliar mountain peak standing tall above me like seeing a skyscraper from the street. Soon the chilling burn of the snow that covered me began to invade my senses and I flung my torso upward, sitting up straight. I grabbed my head in confusion as my eyes surveyed the area around me: The corner of a mountain wall stood menacingly in front of me accompanied by thin, dangerous looking paths on either side. The likes of which only adrenaline-seeking psychopaths would use. I turned my head backwards and felt my heart drop as what looked like an infinitely long freefall met my gaze. I was sitting on the ledge of a snow-covered mountain. "CRKKKK" A heart-shaking croaking sounded from above me further up the mountain and I jolted backwards at the impossibly loud sound. 'Shit, wasn't there nothing behind me?' The sound of cracking stone accompanied the heart dropping sensation of descension. As I plunged down backwards, the last thing I saw was the deep-set brown eyes of that blue-skinned monstrosity further up the mountain. ----------------------------------------------------- Levi Laplace is a former genius biochemistry student that died a simple and laughable death on earth. Having studied profusely and written many papers published by large firms he was well-respected and accomplished in his field. But that did not prevent him from having his own problems in his personal life. Having chased behind the back of science for so long he had neglected his social life, ending up lonely and without a partner in his early twenties coming out of his studies. He decided that the best way for him to rekindle his social prowess was to retire to teaching high school science in a small town. He never ended up falling in love as he dreamed but he did find surprising contentment from dealing with the troubled raccoons he taught on a daily basis. Finding himself summoned to a strange world by unknown forces he is confronted with harsh issues and the struggles of its people. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.
