It was morning and everyone was up and getting food I was outside the academy at the spot where I filled my sister, Alexis and the others were with Jaden

"I can't believe it...find anything draz?" "Nothing...no trace of any of our spirits" what's going on? Suddenly my spirits are not with me Instead of Dragon wizard.

"Hey there lu, wanna come with to find a sub?" I turned seeing the others "she may not be up to date Jess?" "Sure why not, it boring out here anyways"

I saw Jesse smile and grab my hand "great! Let's move out y'all" "hold up! I'm going with you Jaden"

"Alright? But I thought you were hurt?" "I'm feeling much better, plus after Jesse saved me from that harpie it's the least I can do to say thanks"

I didn't by it one bit, something about Adrain made me not want him to come but I didn't want to worry anyone.

"You feeling okay there lu?" "Hmm what? Oh ah ya...I'm fine...totally fine Jess..." I went on ahead without knowing

"Okay she just zoned out there mates, she was thinking about something" "look there!" Said Jaden as he pointed "the sub! Looks like bastions right after all guys!"

"Jaden! Slade let's help him pal!" I placed my stick on the sand and a rope cane out of it "Jaden grab on!" I yelled, Jaden grabbed the rope and held it tight.

"Nice job There lu! Now who created that pit mates?" Something came out of the sand it looked like a duel monster

"Marvellous!" "Attack the doodle bug!" Just as Amethyst was about to attack his the scorpion disappeared into the sand.

"Where'd he go? He can't attack unless he's in a dessert field" "Jesse did you forget were in a desert?"

I saw him rub his head and laugh "oh right..." "that means any level 3 or below monsters are destroyed, but your cats not gone Jesse"

He saw me smile 'cause he knew I remembered the effect of his beasts

"So if monsters are real then life points are real! And the means Jesse could be in the duel of his life" as Jim said that I got worried, could this actually hurt Jesse even more that he could...

"How am I gonna win? This sand field keeps deserting all my moves!" I got Jaden up safely but I saw Slade down there with the spirits monster.

"Slade! Hold on there boy I'm a comin'!" I jumped down sliding on the sand towards Slade (Slade is my pet black snake btw)

"What the! Gah! Sand in my eye!" A wall of sand appeared blocking Jesses attack "cobalt get outta there!"

"I'm summoning my old pal 'Sapphire Pegasus' and now I'm placing a couple of face downs!"

"Wrong mistake rock! With that sand wall opened to get an attack out, I can get something in! Something with some force 'G-force'"

"Now your doodle bug is wide open! And here comes one of my beasts and I'm calling out 'CB.Topaz Tiger' and now he gets more bite cause Tina's gets 400 more Attack! Go Topaz insidesher shred!"

Jesses bio and lit up jay and I went to go help him

"Hello, anyone home!?" Yelled Jaden making a little echo "it's empty, I think it's deserted?" "That was quite the brilliant Didrikson Adrian! So what are we going to do now?"

"Let's spread out, here the list of first aid items miss fountain needed" "perfect! Me and Luna will look around for this! The rest of you guys can look for food and supplies we can bring back with us!" We all nodded our heads and went out separate ways.

It was quiet and a little awkward we both didn't say a thing to each other, I wanted to say something but couldn't get the words out.

"Why do quiet Luna? You aren't scared are you?" "W...What me scared of course not..." Jesse then touched my back making me Jump I heard Jesse giggle

"N...Not funny Anderson! Hey is that it? Bingo! Now we can go to the others" I then felt arms around my waist, I blushed a little as I turned my head "Jesse...is something wrong?"

"No...I just wanted to do this...sorry..." he pulled away then turned his back "cmon...let's see if there's anything else in here we can bring back" I nodded my head then searched.

"Gah...geez...what just hit me on the...head?" I found a note I didn't know where it came from as I picked it up I noticed Adrian's name on it "find anything lu?" "Uh...no nothing..."

I quickly put the note in my pocket and closed the cabinet "let's go find the others"

"Great news fellas we found all the first aid we needed! They had heaps of the stuff!" "Nice! And I found some food , well kuribo found it"

"Look here blankets" "Sorry guys but I got nothing, it's like a maze down here I ended up finding the communication centre but all the hard wear was fried, I couldn't get any info so what's the next move?"

I could feel Slade tugging at my hair I petted him so then he calmed down "Slade quit it...what's wrong with ya?" Just then scorpions came down the shoot "vice dragon come to the stand and help us!" (DEF:2400)

"Nice goin' there mate" "nows our chance let's make a run for it!" We all headed towards the control room axel closed the door shut.

"I reckon where safe now" I didn't see Slade anywhere "guys...where's Slade? He was in my pocket a second ago..." Jesse looked at me seeing I was worried "he'll be fine...right now let's try and get out of here!"

My monster was destroyed and the door broke with it "everyone alright?" "Ya but those scorpions might change all that!"

An army of scorpions came in, I was scared I didn't want to know how this would end "everyone ready?" "You can't take them on! You'll lose energy!"

"That's why I'll take em on!" "Jesse you can't! You've already lost energy I'm not going to let you lose more!" He turned to me the smiled "let me and my beasts Handle this guys!"

"This can't be good!" Jim said "we're sinking!" Jaden said worried "but how!?" Just as Jesse said that tons of sand came down and blocked the way out.

"We gotta move! Cmon crew!" We all ran as fast as we could to the next room "ya think this sub has a back door?" "Negative! The only way out is the same way we got in!"

I was getting worried, I was worried about Slade but I was worried about us we might get Buried alive in a submarine. Jaden started talking about an escape plan.

When we got to the torpedos Jaden opened one of them "you better hurry guys sand is coming in quick!"

Jaden had summoned his grand mole and his Neo's and fused them together to create grand Neo's

I felt something licking my face once I opened my eyes I saw Jesse carrying me and Slade licking my face.

"Seems like sleeping beauty's awake mates" "what...happened?" Jesse looked at me relieved "once we got out, I noticed you fainted so I decided to carry you back in case you couldn't walk when you woke up"

"Thanks Jess...I think I can walk" he put me down but I held onto his shoulder just in case I fell "wait...how did you guys find Slade?" "He was in your that big hair of your lu"

I heard Jesse laugh "let's just keep going..." "I think she didn't like the laugh Anderson" I looked at Slade then petted him *sorry Jesse...I guess I'm still not over it...*

I could feel someone grab my hand I looked over seeing Adrian, I pulled away then looked at him "what are you doing Gecko?!" I said confused "what princess, I thought you wouldn't mind me holding your hand" Adrian said as he winked at me.

I turned and walked a bit faster "who does he think he is flirting with me!" "Luna...you okay?" I looked over at my spirit who looked worried for me "just fine draz just annoyed with that Adrian kid...he just bugs me"

I could tell Jesse and Adrian were eyeing each other down I went over to Jesses side and looked at him "don't you dare start s fight k...I don't want any of my friends getting hurt..."

He knew I still wasn't over "it" I felt his hand on mine I didn't mind it since it was Jesse

I smiled that I had good friends by my side
