Imagine being in the basement of and ranch sitting on a corn farm. Spacious, alone, and with a male stranger who is mid-divorce and already made a declined pass at dinner on you.
I just had the basement to go. This was the home he shared with her so occasionally he would rant about her ineffectiveness as a wife. Which I didn't care to hear or be a part of.
I was in the bathroom shower in the basement, which was the size of a standing coffin with a shower nozzle in it. Wiping the walls, the next thing I knew I slipped and fell right down to my ass in this confined plastic death trap.
My ankle landed right on the metal bar for the shower door frame, right smack on the ankle bone.
Ouch!!
I screamed it hurt so bad. I had tears running down my eyes. You could see the instant purple spot arriving on my skin. I was worried I had broken my ankle it throbbed so damn bad.
Mr. Knight and Shining came running to my rescue. And I am eternally grateful for his help, it was the most awkward experience I have ever had while cleaning.
When I fell, I grabbed the knob for the cold water. I also have white teeshirts with my logo printed on them for "professional purposes". That day was the day I learned to always wear a black sports bra to work under white. Forever.
He valiantly picked me up, soaking wet, cold as ice, nipples basically showing, and carrying me upstairs. With my breasts like eight inches from his face as he tried not to look, several times.
He ended up having to drive me home because it was my right ankle. Go back to the farm, and have his dad drive his truck, while he drove my van to my house and then drove me to urgent care after we dropped his dad off back in the county.

Where I begged him to go and that I would be fine, and he waited the entire time in the lobby. Just so I would get home safe and sound. This man also stopped by Walgreens, grabbing ice cream and chocolate for me so I had "munchies" while I recovered.
He kept asking me out for a year after that day, and I never said yes.

She captured The Star of Orion on its way to London. Little is known about what happened in their final days on the high seas, until now.
