1. The is used to talk about facts and statements that are believed to be true.

For example, Amanda estudia español.

This tells the readers that Amanda studies Spanish. It is an objective fact, so we use the indicative.

2. The is used to talk about desires, doubts, wishes, and possibilities. You are not 100% sure about what you are talking about.

Dubo que Amanda estudie español.

This tells the readers that there is doubt about Amanda studying Spanish, so we use the subjunctive in this case.

*Here is how you can conjugate subjunctivo.*

-ar verbs:

-e, -es, -e, -emos, -éis, -en

-er and -ir verbs:

-a, -as, -a, -amos, -áis, -an

For ejemplo(example),

hablo – o = habl

habl + e = hable

habl + es = hables

habl + e = hable

habl + emos = hablemos

habl + éis = habléis

habl + en = hablen

REMEMBER!!! Turn the infinitive verb into a "yo" form and then take out the last word then conjugate!

Another example,

como – o = com

com + a = coma

com + as = comas

com + a = coma

com + amos = comamos

com + áis = comáis

com + an = coman

The conjugation for the indicative verb is the same as how you conjugate your verbs in present tense(you should know how to do this by now!)

~A/N~

Hope this helped! :)
