I stared at her..no word came to mind ...my Ariel has been here all along and..... Her face remained blank as she stared at me with a crying ivory in her arms...

"now that our cover is blown, can you take us to the hospital ...my baby hasn't been feeling fine and she is getting worse" she said, her blank face now holding a worried expression..

"Ariel.." I started but was cut of by her.. Giving me a stern look "not now Jared , I can't deal with you now.. Ivory needs a doctor and if you can't get me there then I will go there myself" she said maintaining her glare.

Raising my hands in surrender "no, no..I will take you" I said not wanting to risk her disappearing again. I quickly mind linked the closest guard in the west border to send me a car.

Now Ivory was calmer and my whole body itched to be closer to my family but I didn't want Ariel to get agitated or angry so I maintained my place close to the door, staring at them with longing...I was distracted from my stare when the guard mind linked saying the car was already outside..

Muttering that to Ariel, I led them outside and into the car..the short journey was silent and I kept glancing at Ariel and our baby but she never spared me a look once. I felt down casted and the only thing keeping me happy was that they were here with me..

Getting to the hospital Ariel didn't waste time getting down and moving into the hospital.. She didn't even speak a word to me..parking the car anyhow I hurried to meet up with her ...

she was already speaking to the pack doctor who was looking so surprised to see her...glancing at me to make sure it was okay with me, the doctor ushered my mate and pup into the office for further examination

Looking round, I found all eyes on me and my mate that just disappeared behind the doctor's door. Immediately they caught my eyes they all scurried off...they must think I'm still psycho..

Now Ariel is back I need answers and to make everything right again... I just hoped that my pup was OK and my mate will actually listen to me.

Ariel

My heart felt like it was going to fall from all the beating it has been doing. He found out. It took everything to hide how anxious and nervously I was in his presence...I had almost forgotten how breath takingly handsome he was. And how attracted I am to him..I mean he is my mate.

The doctor said my baby girl was alright and she was just running a temperature that would soon pass .he said it was probably due to change of environment... I almost did not want to step out of the doctor's office and face Jared but I knew I had to.

Taking a deep breath I stepped out...he stood immediately he saw I and Ivory... He looked excited but mostly nervous..atleast I wasn't the only one.

"Your things have been moved back to your previous room so you and our pup can be comfortable" he said with a little stutter...

Still giving him a blank look, I nodded and decided to leg it back to the pack house since it was very close to the hospital... I sensed him still following me until I made it back to my room.

As I opened the door he spoke..."Ariely can we talk?" He asked ...." Please Jared not now...please" I said not wanting to look at him, if not I might just give in..quickly shutting the door I released the breath I didn't know I was holding... Then I heard him whisper in a pained voice ... " I will not give up on you Ariely...I will wait no matter how painful it gets "
