I was happy, in fact for a while now I have been nothing but over the moon... My Ariely was every thing.. everything to me.. now that I had her.. I wonder how I was able to neglect her before.. she was sweet and caring and sometimes shy but cute.

Smiling, I tried to hurry in finishing my work so I can get back to her.. "Whipped" I heard Nate say from the door.. I was so into my head, I didn't hear him come in .. "what?" I asked .. " you are whipped man" he chuckled " you and Ariel hum.." he looked at me with a knowing smirk.. I smile " yes ... I and my mate" .

" I'm happy for you, you finally came back to your senses.. if you hurt her, I will hurt you" he said.. glaring at him , my wolf felt slightly angry at the disrespect.. but I understood were he was coming from..

" I love her Nate, I won't hurt her" I said.. he stared at me for a while, I knew he wanted to ask something but was holding back.. dropping my pen" you can ask Nate" I said looking at him. " You sure you really love her and all this is not about the pup?" He asked skeptical

My wolf felt angry, every one was doubting his love for his mate. Our love for her.. standing I glared at him " I love Ariel, she is my everything...let's get things straight.. before, yes it has always been about the baby and not Ariel but..." Before I could complete my sentence, we heard him the shattering sound of glass...looking to the door..I saw a wide eyed Ariel, looking at me like I took something precious from her, like I betrayed her..

No no no, I rushed to her...she kept on starting at me in horror.. I felt my heart squeeze "Ariel." She interrupted me "all this while you were just pretending..I gave you another chance and let you into my heart and you were..just pretending!!" She sobbed as she clutched her belly..I went to touch her, to explain.. "Don't touch me" she screamed at me.

Suddenly clutching her stomach tighter, I heard her whimper just like all those months ago.. I looked at her worried "Ariely" I called out my voice shaky.. I can't lose her ... Fuck.

" Talk to me Ariel, what's wrong?" I asked moving closer to her .. glaring at me "the baby is coming" she said in a pained voice.. then I noticed the water pool on the ground.. I moved into action.. carrying her to the car and telling Nate to bring the baby bag filled with things that Ariel and I bought.

After much convincing from the doctor, Ariely allowed me to be there while she gave birth to our baby girl...it was a nerve wrecking experience but our little girl was worth it all..

Now both Ariely and our baby way sleeping side to side on the hospital bed and I watched them ..I would make things right, I won't let her leave...I can't lose her..I won't lose her.

She started stirring before waking up.. once her eyes landed on me ,she turned away.. " Ariel " I began as I moved closer to her..she interupted me " I'm hungry, get me food" she whispered sounding drained ... hesitating I asked "now?" ... "Yes,now" she muttered sounding angry.. "ok..I will go get you food but once I'm back we will discuss this" I said looking at her..she just stared at me blankly.

I rushed to get the food so I could get back to my mate and pup and I needed desperately to clear the air between us.. walking back into the room.

Ariel and our baby were gone...all I found was a piece of paper and it said " her name is Ivory"...
