I could hear and feel my heart skipping... Ariel was crying in arms and I had never felt so useless and helpless in my whole life..

" Nick can't this car go fucking faster... If anything happens to my mate, I swear to God I will kill you" I screamed at my gamma.. Deep in my mind I know it was not his fault but I was fucking desperate. " calm down Jared we are close to the alpha Maxson's pack" Nate tried to calm me.. I glared at him " you fucking expect me to be calm... My mate is bleeding, fucking bleeding Nate and you want me to calm down" I screamed at him .

I heard Ariel's whimper and turned to her.. Hugging her tight to me " it's gonna be fine baby.. Please don't cry my love.. Nothing will happen to you " I whispered to her. She sobbed harder and I kept whispering sweet nothings to her.

"We are here Jared " Nate said.. I didn't wait to be told twice, I carried my Ariel and ran only stopping by a surprised Alpha maxson to ask were the infaminary was. I ran until I got there... " some one help please " I screamed in the lobby but no one responded.. Anger... If was what I felt so strongly in that moment. Immediately nurses and doctors swammed I and my mate and put her in a stretcher.. Moving her into the theater. " sir please you can't come in" a timid looking nurse said to me. I glared her down " the fuck I can't go in. Move or I will move you and trust me it will hurt" I growled at her.. " sir" she hesitated. I growled at her not letting her even continue.

As I took a step to follow , a hand held me back. Turning to glare at the person who dared to stop me.. I saw Nate. He shook his head at me " if you go in there Jared, you'd make the nurses and doctors nervous and nervous people can't help your mate right now"

I grabbed my hair and growled.. He was right but I was worried and scared.. I didn't want anything to happen to my mate and pup.. I didn't know how long we stayed like that.. Him comforting me while I thought of the worst case scenarios.. That was how the doctor met us " alpha? " the doctor called.. Quickly standing I walked up to him "how is my mate? Is she alright? And the baby?" I asked him frantically.

He looked at me nervous.. I was irritated " are you going to stand there and keep staring or will you open your fucking mouth and tell me how my mate is doing " I growled while glaring at him. " I'm sorry alpha" he bowed his head. " your mate is fine but a little drained so we put her to sleep" he said.. I exhaled relieved .." and the baby? " I prompted

" she bled quite a lot and the baby won't have survived if you weren't here for a few minutes longer.. The baby is fine. .what caused this was her inability to control her emotions.. She must have been stressing for a while for it to come to this.. However the baby is safe but your mate is still in danger of a miscarriage, she needs a lot of rest and care .. I will be putting her on bed rest for one week and after that we can check for progress alpha" he said

My heart slowed to its normal pace.. My mate and pup were alright.. That was what mattered. Looking at the doctor I asked "can I see her? ". " of course alpha, this way please " he said leading the way

Opening the door, I saw my Ariel sleeping peacefully, her red hair splattered on the pillow. Sitting by her side, I held her hand and kissed it "thank God you are ok my Ariely, I will take care of you this time.. I promise my love" I whispered.

I must have fallen asleep cos I was woken up by someone tapping me.. Looking up.. I saw her beautiful emerald eyes.. My Ariel...

I smiled at her but she stared at me confused " Jared? " she asked in a surprised voice.
