I and Derek met when I was in the pack orphanage few months after my parents past in a clash with another pack... Ever since then everything changed. i found out people used to smile and pretend they liked me just cos my parents were the beta of the pack.. I on the other hand didn't take my parents genes cos I was always smallish. At the time the pack had no problem with it but immediately my parents passed they all started showing their true colors.

The bullying started...and the one that always got me.. The verbal abuses...They never stopped until I met Derek.. He was my rock... We met in the orphanage when his family came to do charity and we clicked right away.. When he was around they left me and life became bearable.. At some point I had a huge crush on Derek but he advised me to wait for my mate like he was waiting for his...it hurt at first but I got over it and all was good... He was my protector... A brother to me.

When I found my mate during a pack ceremony ..Derek was so happy for me.. Even I was happy.. However after I moved in with Jared and faced the neglect.. I couldn't face Derek..i didn't want to worry him.. He had done so much for me over the years.. So I endured until I could no more. ..when I made up my mind to put an end to I and Jared., I called Derek.. He was mad but he promised to come be with me for however long I had left here and his presence has been like a breath of fresh air..

I heard a loud growl heading towards I and Derek ..Derek immediately held me behind him as he faced the huge black wolf who just happened to be my mate... This made Jared even more upset... Why was he so upset that he was growling and had a feral look!.

He slowly approached Derek like he was looking for a clean spot for a kill... Whatever this was Derek wouldn't stand a chance.. 'Derek? ' I called out panicked... This seems to aggrivate Jared more as he charged for Derek so I did the most stupid thing ever..
