Ariel's POV :

Today is my first ultrasound appointment with the pack doctor and i am very excited but a little bit nervous. I just wish that things were normal in my life , that Jared was a loving mate and the two of us would be sharing this special moment...but he wants non of that ..only his heir is all that matters to him. I shook my head not wanting to get upset, at least looking on the bright side my best friend Derek will be there.

I sigh as i put on my flats and combed my hair. I stepped out of my room and went straight next door and knocked. Derek opened the door completely dressed, he smiled at me " lets get going?" He asked. I smiled back "sure" I said taking his already outstretched hands.

We waited until we were called before going in. Derek helped me settle on the bed as we waited for the doctor. Suddenly the door opened, i smiled expecting to see the doctor but instead came eye to eye with Jared.... what the __?

"What are you doing here?" I asked him with a frown on my face.
