Two days.

Two days already wasted and they came up with nothing. The clock is tickling too fast, time is running out.

Everyone is on edge with sleepless nights, doing everything in their power to find out any loophole to stop this nikaah but seems like life is really not a movie where suddenly a mericle happens and everything turns out fine and in favour.

Tomorrow is the Nikkah and they can't see anything like mericle happening in their life; not yet.

Abeer has left everything in her creators hand, praying day and night locking herself in room because seeing random people going in and out of her home safocating her, in attempt to make her nikkah day perfect as ordered by her father. The sweets and invitations already have been send to all the important people of the city and around and well Alaya still isn't allowed to be around Abeer.

Money is getting wasted like water, her parents look so happy and well her mother a little emotional too. She remember when her mother came last night to show her wedding dress sent by groom's family. She was glowing and felt emtional , kissing Abeer multiple times taking her in her arms. Those typical lecture, asking her to forgive her father for what he did and that did hurt her. Abeer's mother justifying his father's action, telling her that he is doing all this for her only, for her happiness.

Abeer laughed in response. She still remember the conversation she had with her mother from last night.

"What's really good in that for me Ammi? If it's all for me then why I am not happy?"

"You won't understand it now but soon you will realize that your mother was right. And will thank your father for making best decision of your life."

"Ammi! please baatain to na bnae.." She chuckled. "You and I both know, Mr Rahman Khan is doing all this to satisfy his ego."

(Mom, please stop making lies)

"Abeer ! Baap hai vo tumhare!"

(He is your father!)

"Agar baap hote to shayad esa na karte..." She wiped the tears of her eyes.

(A father will never do this to his daughter.)

"Abeerr!" Her mother yelled angrily.

"Single, just tell me a single flaw about Omer and I will happily agree to this nikkah. You know him since he was a kid, Ammi.)

"Oh! there's many.."Her mother answered casually.

"He is just a spoilt brat, living of his father's money counting on top!"

"You didn't tell me Rayan has his own company, did you?" She mocked her mother who looked away instantly.

"Don't argue with me! Do what your father has asked you to do." Saying this sternly she left from there, living Abeer alone with company of her tears.

Her mother is no different.

Mr Rahman was checking some office file in his home study. He was looking tired and older than his actual age as if these two days fell like a sky on him. Marriage stress, Abeer's crying and begging memories, guilt of raising his hands on his daughter and then office work. Its all taking a toll on him.

Knock Knock!

"Uncle Rahman...."

After working for hours, he was disturbed by a knock on door before a charming face popped inside and Mr Rahman tired face morphed into the grinning one.

"Arey Rayan! Come! Come my son." He happily asked him to come inside.

Rayan faked a joyful smile pretending to look happy before taking the empty seat in front of him.

"So what's my son-in-law doing a day before the wedding?" Rayan inwardly cringe hearing the him address as his son-in-law.

"Well..I.. just wanted to take your permission about something if you allow me..." Rayan asked nervously rubbing his neck.

Rahmaan frowned. "Let me hear you then..." He encouraged curiously.

"I..I want to take Abeer out today if..if you don't mind. " He asked hopefully twisting his fingers feeling scared and nervous. Mr Rahman didn't look to pleased but before he could speak Rayan added. "I..I know what you are going to say..look I can guarantee you, my intentions are pure just to get to know eachother. And if you don't trust us you can send Alaya with us too." He offered.

After the mention of Alaya, Mr Rahman looks thoughtful pondering over the decision meanwhile Rayan was desperately praying for him to agree. Mr Rahman was calculating the pros and cons of the situation in hand. After a long thinking session he came up with decision to agree. Perhaps, it will turn out in his favour.

Abeer needs to leave her room and try to get to know the man she is going to marry. He himself wasn't very convinced when he called Hajra out of stubbornness but soon after few meeting with Rayan he realized the guy is a gem and Abeer will be happy. The forced decision turned into the content one . Rayan is a good guy and hopefully Abeer will agree to this a little more readily after spending time with him.

"Okay!" He answered and Rayan stared at him in disbelief. He was convinced so easily.

"Don't forget I am trusting you my both daughters with you." He sternly told him and Rayan nodded grinning at him greatfully.

"Thank you so much uncle." He smiled genuinely.

"You wait downstairs, I will ask someone to bring Abeer and Alaya to you."

"Sure!" And then he left.

*********

"Rayan..."

"Rayan..."

"Raaayannnn..."

"Rayan jijuuuu!"

"Don't call me that!" Finally he bite back snapping at Alaya who was sitting behind in car.

Abeer was continuously calling Rayan who was sitting deaf ears, driving silently until Alaya teased calling him jiju knowing it will annoy him.

"Aap sun hi nahi rahe the..." Alaya shrugged innocently, receiving his death glare from front mirror.

(You weren't listening.)

"Rayan tell atleast where are you taking us.." Abeer asked desperately.

"Didn't your father tell you?" He mocked her playfully.

"Rayan I am not in mood of your lame jokes!"Abeer glared. "Yaha hamare sir pr talwar latki hai or tumhe ghumne ki pari hai.."

(A sword is hanging on our head and you are concerned about your adventures.)

"ye jo bakra halal karne se pehle hm use khub sair pr leke jate hai. Yeh bhi wahi kr rahe hai. Kyu Rayan bhai?" Alaya joked munching on her chips while leaning on front between Rayan and Abeer now.

(Its similar to the goats we take on walk before slaughtering him. Right brother Rayan?)

"Indeed!" Rayan laughed.

"Not funny at all Alaya!" Abeer snapped but her eyes are glaring at Rayan.

"I will disagree here though.." Rayan added after sobering up. "Your sister is quite a character." He commented laughing.

"Bhej du tumhare ghar?" Abeer gritted out sarcastically. "Do din me hi wapis chor jaoge Khan mansion." She challenged and this time it was Alaya who glared at her sister. "With all your family secrets that took years and years for your ancestors to hide away."

(should I send her to your place then?) (I bet you will drop her back just in two days.)

"Ab aisa to nahi kaha maine..." He shrugged.

(I didn't mean it like that.)

"By the way what secrets?" Rayan asked curiously, switching his eyes between two girls.

"That I know that Hajra isn't your real mother and how she blackmailed you into this marriage." Alaya herself answered sheepishly before Abeer and Rayan mouth left open in shock and disbelief before he glared Abeer accusingly.

"Don't look at me like that!" Abeer surrender raising her hands. "She found out everything on her own, I swear!"

"I can't believe!" He gasped in shock.

"Oh shit!" He slammed the steering in disbelief a thought crossed his mind "And by the calm look of her face it looks like she already have an idea where I am taking you. Don't you?" He asked suspiciously.

"Maybe, Maybe not."She shrugged not answering and Rayan narrowed his eyes scrutinizing her and Abeer staring at her sister in disbelief who was now looking outside sheepishly, trying to avoid their accusing stare.

*******

The car was finally stopped in middle of somewhere, the area look familiar but Abeer can't point out from where exactly. Its evening already, small cabins on hills glowing like fireflies, green stream flowing down below the damaged road. Shepherds passing by with their herd of sheeps. Few small shops for locals necessities was on the side under the worn-out wooden house. It was a rural town in the outskirts of the city.

"Ra..Rayan where are we?" She stepped down from the car and asked confused looking around, inspecting the area.

"Just follow me." Rayan locked the door of his car after Alaya also stepped out, looking around.

"Oye!" Alaya called them suddenly to stop when they both started walking ahead.

"Now what?" Abeer rolled her eyes looking annoyed. She is already really impatient and nervous about what's going on in Rayan's mind.

"Joda to lelo!" She reminded pointing the car.

(take the dress atleast!)

"Joda?" Abeer asked confused looking at Rayan for answers while Rayan looked like a deer caught in headlight.

(Dress?)

"Tumne vo b dekh lia!" Rayan exclaimed throwing his hands in air in disbelief and she shrugged again innocently.

(You saw even that!)

"I saw you sneaking into Abeer's room." She mumbled honestly looking away.

"Tumhari nazro se kuch nahi chupta." He shakes his head in exasperation and she smiled arrogantly at him.

(Nothing is hidden from your eyes!)

"Told you!" Abeer jabbed smirking at him.

"Bow down to you my Queen!" He dramatically added bowing down Infront of Alaya like an English man and the three of them laughed.

This is the most at ease they ever felt in these three days and all the credit goes to Alaya with whom no one can ever have a dead moment.

Rayan grabbed the dress from the car while Abeer stared at it suspiciously.

"Why you bring it with you?" She asked curiously.

"You will find out!" He answered eyeing Alaya uneasily with the corner of his eyes before dragging both of them with him.

Three of them started walking passing by the mountains and getting inside a rocky street like pathway. The street looks isolated until they reached Infront of a very old but looking well maintained two storey cabin. Probably, the best one in this area.

It looks awfully familiar while Alaya has no memory of it unlike Abeer. Abeer stared at it unblinking, trying to remember from somewhere and finally gasped.

"This is......"

********

"What the hell is going on here?" Abeer exclaimed in horror.

The old small living area is crowding with many familiar faces of her friends Zoya, Maya, Danish, Kartik and cousins Ahmer, Samra, Zaif even Omer's sister Hana were all present there laughing and joking as if they are here for a get together until her voice echoed stoping them turning to look at her.

However Hana specifically look behind her and blushed like a tomato. The only reason she is against this marriage. Rayan. She was really never attached to Rahmaan's family and they weren't close even, so it really doesn't matter to her whatever Abeer's father do with her.

"Waoh! Finally she is here the one we were waiting for!" Ahmar commented joyously getting up from there and coming to hug her.

"What's going on here? And what you all are doing here? And did dadi gave you permission to hang around in her personal space?" She bombard them with question, her head is spinning.

This is Sadaf Khan's personal space, allowed to no one. She is emotionally attached to this place. It reminds her of the time when her husband wasn't rich and it was her home. She stepped in this house as a bride for the first time. This place hold many memories of her loving days with her husband. Abeer remembered she visited this house for the first and last time when she was 7 or 8 years old and she had so much fun here.

Everyone in the family knew about this place but no one dared to mention it, knowing Sadaf Khan's possessiveness towards it. She never even like crowding this place with people because according to her it saffocates the her precious memories. So why they all are here today? And and who allowed them?

"Look!" Ahmar exclaimed "She is here to answer your questions." And pointed in a direction.

Abeer followed the direction of his finger and saw her grandma approaching towards her along with Omer with a grin on her rinkled face.

"Da..Dadi.. Whats happening here?" She is flabbergasted, she can't wrap her head around.

"Rayan!" She did answer her but called Rayan who came rushing to her side.

"Joda!" She stretched her hands and eyes fixed on Abeer shinning with mirth.

(dress!)

"Abeer..." She sighed presenting the red dress infront of her. "Go change into this.." She said lovingly caressing her face meanwhile Abeer switched looks.

She gulped taking the dress with shaking hands. She isn't that fool, she is getting the hint of about what's going to happen but she doesn't want to address it.

"Bu..but why dadi?" She fumbled.

"Tumhara or Omer ka nikaah hai aaj." She cupped her face and cooed.

(Its your and Omer's nikaah today.)

Abeer eyes grew big in shock, her jaw touching the ground in horror. She can't believe what she heard. Why her grandma is doing all this.

"Bu..but how?" She blinked feeling uneasy her head is spinning. "My..nikaah is already fixed with Rayan tomorrow. We don't have any other option. All the important guests will be there. My..my father's reputation!" She was freaking out mumbling incoherently.

"No! No!"She gulped shaking her head. "So.. sorry but I can't do this!" She immediately gave the dress back to her grandma who stared her with hurt in her eyes so does Omer.

This is the only option they are left with. It took them entire day to finalize this plan that has no plan at all. Its better than seeing Rayan and Abeer getting married forcefully. This is the only way to postpone this wedding tomorrow. It will even save Rayan from Hajra blackmailing. That's why they even got her a bridal dress yesterday and Rayan sent her in Rayan's name.

"Abeer if it's your father you're thinking about then don't!" Sadaf Khan shook her. "He is my son and I know him. He is selfish, he has sacrificed his family and trampled the reputation of your father for the sake of his ego and pride. Whatever he is doing right now doesn't concern him in anyway."

"still.." She stubbornly shook her head. "Still he is my father Dadi. I can never do that to him. Never! I don't care what he did to me but I won't be able to look myself in the mirror my entire life after putting his name to shame." She cried pleading her to her grandma who stared at her helplessly.

They made her sit on the sofa trying to calm her. She is panicking too much and this is something no one expected. Abeer is a little sensitive when it comes to relations and the people she loves.

After she was calm down they started trying to convince her. But she was stubborn and wasn't ready to listen but somewhere deep in her heart something was melting that cold decision. Seeing so many support from her family, cousin and friends standing against their father was a little convincing that maybe she should stop giving a damn too. Its better than her own father ruining three life.

"But still dadi..." she tried last attempt not knowing what to say.

"You just say yes, I promise we will figure out something." Omer and Dadi tried to convince her and everyone around her agreed in chorus.

"Its time Abeer to trample their ego and pride, we all have been oppressed by. Especially Dadi. It's much needed for them to learn, what happens when Karma bites them back!" Alaya told Abeer with determination shining in her eyes. And everyone stared at the youngest one with so much pride and aww shining in her their eyes.

"Okay fine!" And the crowd hooted with joy.

***********

"Omer Ibrahim Khan wald-e-Ibrahim Khan, apka Nikkah, haq mahar ada 50 lakh pr Abeer Rahman Khan wald-e- Rahman Khan k sath tai kia jata hai kya apko Qubool hai?"

Maulvi asked Omer when it was pin drop of silence in the room. Everyone dressed to impress, looking at their best.

Omer cleared his throat to tone down the excitement and the ticklish feeling in his stomach before answering three times Maulvi while fixing the collar of his black sherwani.

"Qubool hai!"

Qubool hai!"

Qubool hai!"

Abeer heart started racing so fast, hearing all the loud cheers and hoots from their friends and family. Her hands feel sweaty fidgeting with each other.

He has accepted her as his wife!

Now her, she says the word and she will be his forever. Abeer smiled shyly at the thought, greatful enough for the long veil covering her.

"Abeer Rahman Khan wald-e-Rahmaan Khan, apka Nikkah, haq mahar ada 50 lakh, Omer Ibrahim Khan wald-e- Ibrahim Khan k sath tai kia gaya hai. Kya apko Qubool hai?"

She started feeling nervous, words arent ready to slip from her tongue. Two words and her life will be changed overnight.

"Abeer!" Hana and Alaya pushed her.

"Q.. Qubool hai!"

"Qubool hai!"

"Qubool hai!"

"I may pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kissed the bride."

Zaif joked making a strict face like a father from church and everyone burst out laughing slapping his head while Abeer blushed and suddenly her eyes clashed with her now husband across from her smiling mischievously.

It was done finally! Both now belong to eachother, no third person between them. Just the two and their love. Both have stupid giddy smile plastered on their faces, heart ready to jump from the ribcage. It all feels like dream and a lone tear slipped Abeer eyes.

Omer narrowed his eyes at her crying face and looked worried but she shook her head in assurance smiling at him.

"I am taking my wife with me now." Omer announced, fixing his sherwani unbothered by the weird look he received and Abeer blushed at his blondness. "Go do whatever you all want and whatever you want to eat. The bill is on me tonight.." He instructed them firmly while approaching Abeer with predatory steps who is fidgeting with her fingers now.
