I can't let her go, every time my brothers reach for her I draw her away, wrapping her so deep into my arms, you can barely see her.

"Son, you need to let her go" Gus puts a hand on my shoulder and I glare at him, knowing he is right but every instinct is telling me she is safest in my arms.

I can see the pain still on Jett's face, on all our faces, we all feel we have failed her. She twists slightly in my arms, wriggling her hand up to cup the side of my face. My gaze catching hers as I look down at her. "Raven, I'm okay, now let me down before they riot"

I glance over her shoulder and see my brothers all within touching distance, I know she's right but my mind is fighting it. "I'll stay close" she promises and I nod, opening my arms and growling as she is immediately plucked off my lap by Jett. His body dropping down next to me on the sofa, helps to ease the worry, recognising she is still within touching distance.

At Gus's request, she tells us what happened, how they called her out of class and locked her out and how when she came round she found a weapon... a tyre iron and used it on them. she told us what she had heard and her feelings about the frat. She had turned to Jett and asked him about the arrest, then she had wanted to track down the girl who had made the accusations, when her gaze had gone to Dom and Leo they had both straightened, and we could all see the guilt on the faces.

"It's not your fault, they got past everything we had in place, no one could have seen they would be this stupid" she told them as she leaned back into Jett, his arms around her as he buried his head in her neck and just breathed her in, one hand coming out to hold mine, the other reaching for Ash who had sat the other side of her.

The police turned up just as she finally moved from Jett to Ash, and as the officers came into the room, they were accompanied by Pa, two suits and the state governor...

"Uncle Chester" she greeted him, not trying to move from Ash's lap and he had smiled at her, as his gaze had swept across us all before he greeted Gus and Luca and introduced the officers. They had seemed uncomfortable about taking Viri's statement with us all here but she had told them it was fine and that she wasn't going to another room. Gus had agreed with Viri so they had to proceed and after a discreet cough from her Uncle Chester, they had taken her statement, asking questions but nothing outside what we had already talked about.

Pa and one of the suits showed them out when they were finished and I got up to collect glasses and pass drinks round to everyone.

"Cheers" Gus had said raising his glass to his daughter who was being passed from Ash now to Grey's lap. "You know she can sit on a chair" he gripes and she laughs at him.

"They are more comfortable and they need me" she tells him and we all grin at her, glad that she understood our need to keep hold of her after the scare today.

"We all need you Viri" her dad muttered into the silence. His phone beeping in his pocket and he pulled it out with a look of worry, passing it across to Viri. "Call your mother please, before she jumps on a plane to check on you"

Viri laughs and settles back into Grey, starting a video call, "Hey Mom"

"Don't you hey me, what in the world is going on, are you okay, are you safe, what happened" Viri's mum rushed out and we all grinned as Viri let her keep going till she stops and stares at her daughter through the phone.

"There was an incident but its dealt with now" Virir tells her calmly and we all wince as her mother shouts back.

"What incident, were you harmed, who did it!"

"its over mum, please don't worry, dad can tell you all about it when he gets home"

We all smother our grins as Gus groans and Luca laughs, causing Viri to narrow her eyes at him. "Uncle Luca can also tell you all about it, he was here too" she tells her and we hear her muttering about men keeping her out of the loop and what she will do to them.

Viri laughs at the expressions on Gus and Luca's faces before getting her moms attention. "There's someone I would like you to meet... so please be nice, don't scare them away" she grins at her.

"Is it those boys... show me" she replies causing us all to blush as Viri turns the phone around and introduces us one by one.

"Oh my, well I can see why you are smitten with them" her mother fans her face with her hand as Viri covers the screen with her hand whilst telling her mum to shut up before throwing the phone back across to her father, muttering about parents with no limits.

"So your smitten with us" I lean close to her ear and whisper, grinning as she shivers and turns heated yes my way.

I can see her nerves but she smiles at me "I'm more that smitten with you, with all of you" she admits.
