《SINNER - Klaus Mikaelson》THIRTY

The friends caught up and laughed all night before heading to there separate rooms for bed. Stefan hadn't said much, it seemed like he was still trying to process everything.
"Goodnight guys!" Adeline called walking to her bedroom with Klaus.
"Night Addy!" Bonnie smiled
Adeline walked into the room, closing the door behind her. Klaus had already been waiting for her inside, he was staring her down— she already knew what was coming.
"Klaus don't start." She huffed.
"You called Stefan." He snapped. "Stefan!"
"He is one of my best friends!" She defended. "I wanted them all here for this."
"When things get tough, Adeline runs to her knight in shining armor— Stefan."
"Are you kidding me?" She spat. "What's it going to take Klaus?"
"I don't know what you mean." He shrugged. He was back to having his self destructive, jealous attitude. It was petty— Klaus acted like she was some prize pony at the county fair. He didn't know how to act, how to love.
"What's it going to take for you to believe you are the only one I want!" She yelled. "I'm marrying you Klaus, I'm pregnant with your baby. Is that not enough?"
"What if I said no?" He spat. "What if I said I wanted more— I wanted everything. I want you to myself."
Adeline looked at him with wide eyes. He was acting like a spoiled brat, like a little child on the schoolyard.
"You have everything, all of me! I've given you everything. My heart, my body!" She yelled. "I left my friends for you!"
"And yet, here they are in my house."
"They are helping us! Is that what you want? For me to not see my friends?" She scowled at him.
"I don't want you to see Stefan." He huffed. "I remember that kiss on the front porch, I remember what he said he wants what's mine."
Adeline crossed her arms and sighed at him. She loved this man, she loved him with all her heart but he really could be so frustrating. She was trying to be patient with him, because she knew if someone had kissed him, she would be jealous too— she couldn't lie to herself about that.
Stefan was her friend and she wanted him here. He had been there for her through a lot and they had grown close. She couldn't toss him aside but she wanted to diffuse the argument with Klaus before it got worse. She stepped forward, closing the gap between them and cupped his cheek in her hand.
"I love you— you know that?" She whispered.
She could see the anger in his eyes slowly fade at her touch. He reached his hand up and rested it on hers.
"I love you." He breathed, letting out a deep sigh.
Those words coming from his lips still sent shivers down her spine. She could still melt into a puddle at his feet when he said those words— they would never get old. She knew even when they had been married for 100 years she would still feel this way.
He leaned in, breathing his hot air against her neck, teasing her with his slow motions.
"You are mine." He whispered into her skin, lining her neck with kisses in the area he knew made her weak in the knees.
"You're impossible." she laughed.
He laughed under his breath, locking eyes with his bride to be. The hunger inside him grew, he pushed her back against the nearest wall, slamming her against the hard sheet rock. He pressed his lips against hers, rolling his tongue into the warm part of her mouth.

She let out a quiet moan and he dove his hands into her hair, tugging on her long locks. He pulled her head back so she was looking up at the ceiling and lined her neck with kisses, circling his tongue before letting himself bite into her neck and suck the sweet blood that flowed through her veins. She dug her fingers into his back as he sucked, her eyes rolled back into her head.
"Drink." He ordered holding his wrist out to her. She listened, sinking her teeth into his veins and allowing the blood to trickle down her throat. When she was done and they were sure his bite had healed, he lifted her off the ground and tossed her into the mattress.
He climbed on top of her but she quickly flipped them around, mounting herself on top of him. A smirk spread across his lips at her eagerness and aggression. It was no surprise that Klaus preferred things rough. She leaned down forcefully pressing there lips together, he ripped her shirt open exposing her white lace bra— she followed his actions, ripping his shirt from top to bottom.
She leaned down, tracing kisses from his neck down to his abs. She unbutton his pants and tugged them off, standing off the bed to remove her own. He watched with a smirk on his face and light eyes as she climbed back on top and took him into her. He grabbed her hips and guided her up and down, watching as she worked. Breathy moans escaping both their lips as they came undone.
She laid down beside him, letting her body relax on the soft mattress.
"Come here." He muttered, pulling her under the covers and into his chest. Within minutes she was sleeping soundly in the one place she always felt safe— in his arms.

The next morning everyone in the house met down at the dining table for breakfast that was being laid out by the housekeepers. Adeline looked around the table and felt happy— she had everyone who she loved with her. Sure, it was messy and they had work to do and scheming to complete but they were here, all of them.
"So you said we can't use magic here because some evil vampire on a power trip has some little witch telling him when magic is used?" Elena asked, passing the fruit bowl to Bonnie.
"Right." Adeline nodded.
"Then we take Adeline out of the quarter and do the unlinking." Stefan shrugged.
"You think we have thought of that?" Klaus scoffed. "The stupid witches won't let her get out of town, if they sense she is leaving they will take action— why don't you let the people who's plans don't always turn into epic failure work something out?"
"Klaus." Adeline spat, urging him to be nice. A angry smirk spread across Stefans face and he shook his head looking down at his plate.
"I was informed this morning that Marcellus is throwing a little party he wants our presence at." Elijah announced. "We go, we talk, we distract him with our new friends that have came into town and we find that little witch of his."
"We distract her while Bonnie here unlinks my fiancé from Sophie so that I may kill her." Klaus smirks.
Everyone stared at the two brothers, taking in the plan. It was a good one— it would probably work, not to mention it was the only plan they had.
"Okay— so a party in New Orleans. I can handle that." Damon smirked and the group of friends laughed.

Adeline got dressed in a sleek red gown, she wore her hair in big curls topping the look off with red lipstick. When she walked down the stairs to her friends that were waiting for her all eyes fell on her. She was getting used to this whole staring thing— it used to make her tremble and her plans sweat. It still made her nervous, but she had come to realize staring was good thing, at least in this sense.
Stefan watched her every step, Klaus watched as her hair bounced and shined under the light and Elijah slightly smiled seeing her wearing a color all three men found irresistible— red. Even Damon who only had eyes for Elena was locked on the blonde.
"You really know how to make an entrance." Bonnie laughed.
"That's my girl— always stealing the attention of the room." Klaus smirked, wrapping his arm around Adelines waist.
"Well— we should get going." Elijah nodded. Everyone walked outside and piled into the back of a limo.
"Do you guys do anything just normal? Like Ubering instead of ... this." Caroline laughed looking around the limo.
"No, not really." Elijah answered honestly which made everyone laugh.
It didn't take long to get to Marcels but the group did chug a bottle of champagne between them on the way— Adeline excluded, she was handed a bottle of water by Klaus who laughed at her.
When they walked into the party, there was a live band playing on stage and people dressed to the nines in every area of the room.
"This guy really knows how to throw a party huh?" Damon scoffed.
"He likes to think so." Klaus rolled his eyes.
They had barely been there two minutes when Marcel made it a point to approach the group.
"Klaus! Glad you could make it." He smiled. "Looks like you've got a bigger crew rolling with you tonight."
"Ah yes I do. Some old friends of ours from Mystic Falls." Klaus introduced.
"We're Adelines friends— just to be clear." Damon teased and Klaus glared at him.
"Welcome to the French quarter! Eat, drink, party." Marcel grinned.
"Don't mind if we do." Caroline smirked, walking towards a cute brunette vampire.
The group spread out and tried to enjoy the party for awhile. They didn't want to huddle together all night and look suspicious, it needed to seem like they were actually here for the party.
Klaus was off making the rounds, trying to sniff out any information he could about Davinas whereabouts and of course, trying to seem like he was there to party and drink with his friend Marcel.
Adeline saw Stefan stranding by a table and decided now might be a good time to get a chance to talk to him. They had barely spoken since he arrived to New Orleans.
"Hey Stef." She smiled.
"Hey." He kept it short.
"You having fun?" She questioned. She could tell something was off with him, and it was obvious it had something to do with her being pregnant and getting married to one of his biggest enemies.
"I guess." He shrugged.
"Stef— are you going to talk to me about it? About how you are feeling?"
"I feel like you are marrying a psycho. I feel like you are pregnant and... I feel like it's just all so permanent." He admitted.
"You were the one who told our friends about me staying behind while Klaus left so they would encourage me to go— what happened to that guy?" She questioned.
"That guy was stupid." He spat. "That guy didn't know you would marry him."
"Stefan..." she breathed. He was her best friend and she hated this. She hated him being upset and she hated fighting. "I won't apologize for loving him."
He looked over at her, studying her ocean blue eyes and he knew she meant it. As much as he wanted her not to, she did love him.
"I won't ask you too." He breathed.
She smiled at him and reached across the table, placing her hand on his. A small smile cracked on his lips and she knew they were on the upside of things now. Stefan would be okay with this eventually.
Marcel was watching the blonde and her friend, before he turned his eyes to Elijah who was watching with an expression he knew all to well— jealously. But why would Elijah be jealous watching his brothers fiancé? He turned his attention to Klaus who was wearing the same expression.
"We might not have needed our little party trick after all." He scoffed, talking to Thierry. "Looks like the Mikaelson brothers have something brewing between them already— history may be repeating itself with those two yet."
A smirk grew across his face as Marcel thought about the trouble that was already on its way to this party. His phone rang and he pulled it from his pocket pressing it to his ears.
"Send her him." He smirked, then hung up the phone. "It's show time boys."
Marcel walked down to the stage where the band was playing— he cut them off and grabbed the mic.
"Is everybody having a good time?" Marcel shouted and the crowd answered with cheers. "Alright alright! That's what I like to hear. I wanted to come up here because tonight I have something special for two old, old friends of mine!"
The crowed clapped and cheered except for Adeline and her friends. Klaus and Elijah were watching Marcel on stage with cautious eyes, no one excepted this or knew what was coming next.
"I brought someone here tonight for my friends and mentors, Klaus and Elijah Mikaelson." Marcel smirked. "Someone they knew thousands of years ago— hell from what I've heard it's someone they used to fight over! Please let's give a New Orleans welcome to the lovely, Mikayla Flores!"
A girl in a tight black dress walked in with a smile flashing her perfectly white teeth. She had long black hair and dark eyes. Both the original brothers looked like they had seen a ghost but Adeline was just confused. She had no idea who the girl was.
Marcel walked with the girl, leading her over to the group.
"What have you done?" Klaus spat.
"What? I thought you two would be happy to see her." Marcel smirked. "When she came to see me over 80 years ago, she was looking for you two. I sent her away, because you weren't here and I didn't think you ever would come back but then you did!"
"I'm confused." Adeline spoke up.
"Make that two of us." Damon scoffed.
"Oh you don't know?" Marcel mocked. "Mikayla here knows your fiancé and his brother. She was the girl the both fought over in there little village when they were still human. When they slaughter there whole village, they only spared her and years later she met a vampire convinced him to turn her and then has been looking for these two since."
"I'm sorry— did you say she has been alive and looking for them for a thousand years?" Stefan blurted.
"Yep— I guess they all really had something special. She was so excited when I called and invited her here to finally reunite her with her two loves." Marcel smirked.
"Wait I thought—" Adeline choked. "Elijah said and everyone said that—"
"That you were the first and only one Klaus Mikaelson loved?" Marcel cut her off. "I guess not."
"You little piece of—" Klaus growled, charging Marcel and throwing him into the air and against the wall with ease. The anger was dripping off Klaus, it was pure rage.
"Niklaus!" Elijah yelled. "This isn't going to help." He gestured his eyes to Adeline who was watching in horror with a tear sliding down her cheek.
"Adeline—" klaus stepped towards her.
"Don't!" She shouted. "You lied to me— you both have been lying to me." She looked between the two brothers, both of them looking broken while watching her unravel.
"You need to listen to us." Elijah urged.
"No!" She argued. "I just— I can't look at you right now."
She headed for the exit, with Stefan walking beside her step for step, his hand resting on her lower back to help guide her through the crowds.
Her friends glared at the two originals and the new girl, then followed there friend out.
"What just happened?" Kol walked up and asked his brothers, then he spotted Mikayla. "Oh good god."
"Marcellus just made a grave mistake is what just happened." Elijah warned.
Klaus wasted no time— he sped across the room and ripped out the heart of two of Marcels most trusted day walkers from his inner circle. After that he bit into a couple of his night walkers necks, sentencing them to a slow death. His final attack was on the girl he knew Marcel had his eyes on, the bartender. He ran behind the bar and snapped her neck. The blood was splatted on his face and stained his suit. His hands and face were dripping with the blood of his victims.
"This is only the beginning." Klaus yelled. "You mess with me and my family, I will sentence you to a faith worse than death. Consider this my warning Marcellus— you just started a war."

I’m writing this all down because I don’t know what else to do with it. This whole experience has been so completely insane that I must record it so people in the future can understand what is going on. Maybe someday someone else can make sense of it. Maybe that person is you, I have no idea. JR awakens from a dream to find that he is late for work! When he tries to call in, he realizes that something is not right. That’s when his friend and co-worker, Frank, calls him and informs him of what just happened to their workplace. JR finds himself in a world that grows increasingly surreal with every passing day. There are basic facts about himself are missing from his memory. When was his birthday again? Taking place in Chicago in the near future, strange buildings, strange events and stranger people populate this world on the other side of the looking glass. JR is left to struggle with his new job and new surroundings, but luckily his old friend Frank is still there to help guide him. He makes many friends who have interesting takes on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. First alerted by Frank, JR slowly becomes aware of a danger lurking in the background that is gradually spreading despite the fact that no one else seems to notice it or acknowledge that he might be on to something. All of this combines to make the novel Continuity about fear, anxiety and paranoia in a perplexing world that seems to be both real and not real at the same time. Rumored to be about 15 chapters and less than 200 pages the novel is written in a first person perspective that breaks the forth wall and will either leave you laughing with delight or scratching your head in confusion, or maybe both!? The one thing it won’t be is boring!
