《SINNER - Klaus Mikaelson》TWENTY SIX

Pregnant— Adeline Andrew's was pregnant with Klaus Mikaelsons baby, that much she knew for sure. When she woke up— she was in a soft bed instead of on the cold floor, and the chains that bound her wrists were gone. She remembered Elijah and Klaus getting her out of there, and she was grateful to be safe and away from the psycho witches of New Orleans.
"Good morning." Elijah smiled standing in the doorway of Adelines room.
"Morning." She groaned sitting up to face him. "You're awful chipper this morning."
"I am actually." Elijah admitted. "For the first time, since my family and I became what we are— good things are happening for us."
Adeline felt flutters in her stomach at Elijah's words, she liked that he saw this pregnancy as such a good thing. She had never seen him quite so happy.
"You are a good thing that's happened to us." He admitted "probably the best thing."
"Flattering but I doubt that." She said modestly.
"I mean it." He said walking across the room and sitting on the edge of her bed. "I knew when I met you— you were different, in a good way of course."
Adeline smiled and wanted to thank Elijah for his compliments but was abruptly cut off by Klaus's intrusion.
"Elijah— can you give me a minute alone with the mother of my child?" He huffed, klaus was so easily jealous. Adeline could tell he didn't like his brother being as kind to Adeline as he was— he saw it as something more, when it wasn't.
"It's okay he can stay." Adeline protested. She wasn't ready to be alone with the Hybrid yet, she was still upset about him and the now deceased Haley.
"I didn't ask for your input." Klaus growled.
"No worries— I was just going anyways." Elijah stood off the bed, smoothing his suit before he headed out the door leaving the couple alone.
Klaus stood beside the bed, staring down at Adeline who was glaring back. She thought the silence was going to linger on forever— both of them just staring.
"How are you feeling?" Klaus asked, breaking the silence.
"I don't know— I don't feel any different yet." She admitted.
"It's still early on, probably takes a little I suppose." He shrugged. "Not that I know much about pregnancy, let alone supernatural ones."
Adeline just nodded and picked the book up off the nightstand behind her and began to flip through the pages. She wasn't really reading, she just wanted to distract herself from having to talk to Klaus. She was still hurt and it was hard to look at him.
"You can hardly look at me anymore." He sighed. He could always tell exactly what she was feeling, like they were connected.

"I'm hurt Klaus. You slept with someone else, so soon." She admitted.
"It meant nothing to me— it was a one night stand. I had been drinking, I was lonely." He huffed. "But I didn't... she meant nothing."
"Shes dead you know." Adeline pointed out. "Marcels men killed her— no wolves in the quarter they said."
Klaus rolled his eyes, just another one of marcels stupid rules that he couldn't stand. He didn't feel sorry for the girls death — after all he barely knew her. He just hated that Marcel had men loyal enough to kill on sight for no reason.
"Marcels men." He huffed. "Of course. Well, a shame I suppose."
"Yeah." Adeline breathed.
Klaus sat down on the bed with Adeline, inching closer to her. He placed a finger underneath her chin and pulled her face up to meet his.
"I am sorry. I am." He said and meant it. "I regret it— I just want you to know that."
Adeline could tell he was telling the truth. She also knew that he was seriously about regretting it, because klaus didn't apologize for anything ever. It took a lot for him— a lot of strength, change and love to be able to truly own up to his mistakes.
"And I need you to know I meant what I said in Mystic Falls— I do love you."
And just like that, her stomach was melting for him all over again. The fight no long seemed important. Three little words was all it took for her to let him back in— because she loved him too.
"I love you." she smiled, leaning it and pressing her lips against his. The moment they connected it was like a lightning strike in the sky, or a comet exploding in space— it was unstoppable. They were hungry for each other, kissing like it was the last time they ever would.
Klaus pushed Adeline back on the bed and climbed on top of her, straddling her body. He pressed there lips together again with force, sliding his tongue into the warm part of her mouth. She was everything to him— her taste, her touch, her scent. He wanted all of her, every piece of her soul, every part of her body.
Adeline tugged at the hem of Klaus's shirt signaling that she wanted it off, he obliged pulling the fabric over his head and tossing it to the floor. He started ripping her clothes of her like a savage, tearing the fabric, popping the buttons— he wanted her. He sucked on her neck, then her stomach, down to the tender part of her inner thigh— her legs shuttered when he ran his tongue along her sweet spot.
"Klaus." She moaned. He could make her crazy without even putting himself inside, he could tease her until she was about to explode. He knew all the right places— he knew how to please her.

"I want you — please." She begged. It had been to long, she didn't want to waste another moment. Their naked bodies were pressed against each other as he moved to her lips, kissing her again.
"Beg for it." He smirked, moaning into her ear. She knew he liked to hear her beg, that was just how Klaus was— he was a dominant, he craved the power.
"Please—" she begged. "I need it."
The devilish smirk on his face deepened and he granted her wish. He pulled himself to her entrance and pushed inside— it was euphoric for them both. Neither of them had ever felt anything like this, the way they felt as there bodies collided together was enough to send anyone into overdrive.
With each thrust Adeline moaned and whispered Klaus's name— pulling on his hair and digging her nails into his back. She bit her lip as he went further, then he finished and let out a breathy moan.
"I missed you." He smirked, pulling her into his chest.
"I missed you." She admitted.

Elijah walked into the house where Klaus was painting on a canvas and Adeline was reading in a chair nearby.
"Brother— it seems Marcellus is having some sort of party tonight." Elijah pointed out. "I think it best we go— try to get cozy to him."
"I know of the party. I already planned on going."
Klaus informed him. "No need to tell a leader how to lead." He smirked looking up from his painting at his brother.
"I for one would love to party." Rebekah said, walking into the house and putting her bags down beside her.
"Sister!" Elijah smiled. "You returned."
"Well when you said Adeline had returned and Nik was out of his insufferable angry phase, I knew it was safe to come back." She smiled. "Not to mention the news of her being with miracle baby caught my attention."
Adeline smiled as Rebekah moved over to her and embraced her in a hug. She gestured like she was asking if it was okay to touch her stomach and Adeline nodded in agreement. It was silent for a moment, then rebekahs face lit up.
"I hear it." She gasped with excited. "That sweet heartbeat."
Klaus and Elijah shared a small smile with one another and Rebekah hugged Adeline again.
"Life is looking up for us boys!" Rebekah laughed. "Now— let's get to work on taking down marcels pathetic excuse for a kingdom so we can unlink our families hope over here from the psycho witches."
"All in good time sister." Klaus smirked.
"Well we can start tonight, by getting in Marcellus good graces at this party he is throwing." Elijah nodded.
"I'll need a dress. I doubt I brought one fancy enough." Adeline scoffed. She was starting to get used to these lavish and extravagant parties. She knew she would have to expand her wardrobe if she wanted to keep up.
"No problem— I have plenty or we can buy you one or ten!" Rebekah smiled.
"No." Klaus blurted. "You are not going."
"What?" Adeline questioned. "Why the hell not?"
"It's to dangerous. We can't predict what Marcel and his band of idiots could do. You're not going." Klaus spoke sternly.
Adeline crossed her arms and glared at him. She was pregnant— not made of glass. She was a vampire too, she could handle herself. Plus there would be three originals there to protect her.
"I'm a vampire Klaus... I can protect myself now.
I'm not the fragile human you met when you came to mystic falls."
"Be that as it may— these vampires are much older than you hence they are faster and stronger." He explained. "You and the baby you carry are the two most important things to me, so no you cannot go."
"Klaus— please." She pouted. "When I get further along and start showing I won't be able to do much so please let me come. I'll have the three of you watching out for me."
Klaus was staring daggers through her. He didn't want her to go but he also hated having to tell her no. He could tell she didn't want to be cooped up here alone, he was just afraid for her. No one has ever meant as much to him as she did.
"Of course you can come Adeline." Elijah answered for klaus. "We will get you a dress and all of us will watch out for you."
It looks could kill, Elijah would be dead right now.
"Great! Thanks Elijah." Adeline cheered. "Come Bekah, I need to pick a dress."
The two girls dashed upstairs to begin going through gowns, trying to decide what to wear to the party. The two brothers stayed downstairs, with Klaus still eyeing down Elijah.
"Is that how this is going to be?" Klaus spat.
"I don't know what you mean." Elijah questioned.
"I'm going to be the bad guy— telling her no because that's what it takes to keep her safe but then you are going to swoop in and say yes, making her happy."
"Brother I assure you I am not trying to—" Elijah started.
"Enough. I don't want to hear it." Klaus cut him off. "After-all, we have a party to get ready for."

Tales of the Legendary Scholar
They meet in the most unlikely moment and turned their life around. Freidrech newly arrived in his own nation's capital city, which is so foreign to him compared to his village's idyllic and nondiscriminatory atmosphere, after he is forced to come. Now, he is facing a royal prince and tells him to bow. This draws out one of his late father's teachings from the deepest recesses in his mind. "The blood of your great ancestors runs in your veins. Don't easily bow down to anyone, or accept suppression by any being, not even from a monarch, unless you pledge your allegiance to him. Also, giving in to oppression is directly telling the oppressor that you're easy prey and open for manipulation." He is uncertain on how to face this oppression right now. Will he bows or not? What will he do to uphold his father's words while keeping his life safe? As for the prince, Theodrech has nothing to do with Freidrech, so he wishes to let this slip, but the boy opens his mouth and proposes the most ludicrous challenge he ever heard and triggers his curiosity. "I, Freidrech Goederf Gerboud, son of the late Village Chief Louvel Gerboud of Wrilon, will challenge you, Your Highness, to a battle of riddles… If you win, I will not only bow but be your servant for the rest of my life." This amuses the prince. It is the first he met a boy of the same age who is not intimidated by the air of authority he projects. Rather, this boy challenges him. "Why are you so headstrong? In fact, bowing to me is an honor. You saw the King's noble Knights. When they saw me, they bowed," says Theodrech, testing Freidrech. "Allow me to be forward, Your Highness. For me, bowing to a monarch does not guarantee loyalty. If I were you, I rather have men who stand straight in my presence but who got my back, than bowing men who are dreaming of my death," replies Freidrech. The prince’s curiosity increases. A huge smile is seen on his face. Prince Theodrech decides to take Freidrech under his wing. Little did they know, this boy who Prince Theodrech takes in as his confidant and friend in the most ridiculous fashion is someone indispensable in his life and the one who can help him succeed the throne when he almost believes he has lost. Thus, the Tales of the Legendary Scholar begins. ------ o ------ Old Synopsis: A famous ancient adage stated, behind a successful man is a woman BUT… In these lands, the monarchs are seeking not a woman to stand behind them but the man hailed as the Legendary Scholar.
