《SINNER - Klaus Mikaelson》FIFTEEN

A few days had passed since Adelines transition. She was still trying to get her emotions under control, but things were getting a little better. She only had drunk from blood bags, and barely left the Mikaelson house. She was afraid of what she might do around humans. Bonnie made her friend a daylight ring that Adeline now wore on her right index finger.

All the original family were surprisingly kind and were trying to help her ease through her transition. It was almost like they had accepted her as one of their own, and Adeline appreciated that—especially since she no longer had a family of her own.

Klaus and Adeline hadn't touched since the kiss they shared before she drank her first sip of blood. He was letting her sort through her emotions without adding more fuel to the fire—Adeline also hadn't spoken to her friends about her and Klaus. Now that she was a vampire, the guilt of lying to them was suffocating. Elena had her suspicions, but she refused to believe it.

"Good Morning love." Klaus smirked from the head of the table as Adeline joined the originals in the dining room.

"I made breakfast." Kol laughed, tossing a blood bag down in front of the girl.

Adeline picked up the blood bag and began to sip, draining it of its contents.

"So—I thought I would go back to my house today." She started, staring at Klaus on the opposite end of the table. "I mean, I've been staying here long enough—I appreciate your help with my transition."

Klaus slammed his cup down on the table but didn't say a word—instead he stared at the girl with cold eyes.

'Adeline, you do not have to leave." Elijah spoke gently. "You are more than welcome to stay with us."

"Thanks." She smiled at Elijah. "But I think I need to learn how to survive like this—you like the new me on my own."

Elijah smiled sympathetic at the girl. He understood what she was saying, but he knew his brother would not feel the same. Klaus still sat in his place, running his tongue over his teeth, staring at the blonde.

The tension in the room was building so Adeline decided to leave it at that, if Klaus had nothing to say—then so be it. She walked up the stairs and started gathering up her things. She was in the middle of shoving a shirt into her bag when her wrist was grabbed tightly.

"Ouch." She turned around and glared at a visibly upset Klaus.

"Why are you doing this?" he scolded.

"All I'm doing is going home." She insisted. "I need to learn out to survive without you babying me."

"Then learn here."

"I can't!" she argued.

"Why not?" he shouted.

"Because!" she yelled. "Because I don't even know what this is! I haven't told my friends anything about whatever is going on between us and you know why Klaus? Because its wrong. Because you have hurt them and me. You murdered so many people."

Klaus's eyes narrowed and he scoffed under his breath.

"This again then?" he snapped. "One moment you are asking me to kiss you and the next you feel guilty and think I'm a monster?"

Adeline shook her head. She didn't think Klaus was a monster—maybe she used to. She used to think he was heartless, but she knew now that wasn't the case. He had protected her and cared for her. She was just having a hard time sorting through her emotions, everything was becoming so jumbled together.

"Klaus— I'm just trying to sort through my feelings." She breathed.

"Go then!" he shouted. "Get the hell out of my house!"

Tears filled Adeline's eyes, tracing lines down her cheek. She never expected Klaus to blow up at her like this. Adeline grabbed her back and slung it over her shoulder, taking off out of the room without another word. She moved passed Elijah with haste and he could already tell something was wrong. As soon as she slammed the door behind her, Elijah bolted up the stairs to find his brother.

"What happened?" Elijah questioned, with anger towards his brother laced in his voice.

"Didn't you hear us brother?" Klaus scoffed. "She has to sort through her feelings."

Klaus wasn't good with being left—or feelings. He didn't understand what Adeline needed or why. He thought it was as simple as if she had feelings for him, she would stay but that wasn't the case.

"Niklaus, she is newly transitioned. It doesn't mean anything about her feelings for you." Elijah tried to tell his brother. "She is just overly emotional; you know how it is."

"Just stop!" Klaus yelled. "I know you think she is the one who will save me—the one who will change my ways. I am not blind brother. But let me tell you, you are wrong."

Klaus tried to stomp out of the room, but Elijah jumped after him, pushing his brother against the wall.

"This girl is the best thing that has ever happened to you, believe me when I say that." Elijah spat. "Stop trying to act to tough to care Niklaus, it's ridiculous. Now get it together and go talk to the girl. She is overly emotional now, thanks to you and out on her own."

The Hybrid pushed his brother off him and stared him down. He contemplated fighting him further, but knew he was right. Klaus didn't say a single word to Elijah, he just took off out of the house.

Adeline was walking past the Mystic Grill headed for her house when she smelt it. The overwhelming, inviting, delicious aroma for fresh blood wafter under her nose and caused the veins to protrude from under her eyes. Normally she may have been able to fight herself—force herself to keep walking but not today. Today she was already upset, she was miserable—her mind was all over the place and she couldn't stop herself.

She followed the scent; it was coming from the alley behind the Mystic Grill. A waiter had cut her hand on some glass bringing the trash out. Adeline stalked towards her slowly at first, but the closer she got the worse the burning in her throat felt. She used her newly acquired speed to rush over to the guy, grabbing him forcefully by the arm.

"Woah—hey there." He said, looking shocked by her sudden presence but not afraid...yet.

"I'm sorry." She huffed, and the veins reappeared under eyes. Her fangs popped out from her gums as she opened her mouth and sunk her teeth into the man. He was struggling at first—but the more blood she drank the weaker he got. Drinking straight from the vein was so much different then the blood bag, it was fresh—it was addicting. She drank and drank until there was nothing left, and his lifeless body dropped to the ground.

"Oh my god." She cried, taking a step back to look at man and realized what she had done. It was her first kill. She leaned her back up against the cold brick wall behind her and slid down it, sitting on the ground and crying into her knees.

Klaus had gone looking for Adeline once he got to her house and realized she never made it there. He could hear the faint sobs coming from the alley and he knew it was her. He sprinted over there and saw her curled-up crying.

"Adeline—" he spoke softly, not wanting to startle her.

She looked up from her knees, the lower half of her face was covered in blood as was her shirt. Klaus turned to the dead body on the ground—of course it didn't faze him, but he knew how hard this was for her. This was the first life she had taken. He had taken hundreds, thousands even but Adeline was different, she was good.

"I didn't mean to." She cried. Klaus knelt beside her, pulling her head into his chest so he could embrace her.

"I know you didn't." he comforted.

"I'm a monster."

"You are not a monster. Believe me I have killed far more people, in far worse ways." Klaus started.

The blonde looked up at him and rolled her eyes. "You aren't helping."

He laughed under his breath, he knew he wasn't the best when comforting her, but he tried and that is what mattered.

"We just need to teach you control and channeling any emotions you have in other ways." He smiled, grabbing her hands, and pulling her off the cold ground. "Come on love, let's get you cleaned up."

When they got back to the Mikaelson house, Klaus walked in the door hand and hand with Adeline who was still covered in blood from her first victim.

"Brother." Elijah gasped, staring at Adeline with wide eyes.

"She's alright Elijah." Klaus assured him. "She just needs to get cleaned up."

Klaus led Adeline out of the room and up the stairs. This time instead of leading her to the guest room she had been occupying, he took her to his room—the master suite.

"You shower off in there." Klaus pointed towards his large bathroom. "I'll wait for you out here."

"Okay." She nodded, stepping into the bathroom, and closing the door behind her.

She got undressed and stepped into the hot water, letting the crimson-colored blood wash off her skin. She told herself over and over again what she did was an accident—she didn't mean to kill anyone. She said it enough to where she finally was able to convince herself. She knew the only way she could move forward and try to return to some level of normalcy was to forgive herself and let it go. She remembered Stefan telling her every vampire slips up somewhere down the line, but it is about forgiving yourself when you do.

She felt a lot better after her shower, like she had at least silenced the guilt she was feelings. She slipped into clean clothes and opened the door to the bathroom, walking back into Klaus's room. He was standing by the large window, staring outside until he heard her then turned to meet the gaze of the girl.

"Feeling any better?" he questioned.

Adeline stared at the Hybrid, a new emotion growing in her stomach as she looked at him in his black shirt and dark jeans. He looked like a dream standing there, like he was too attractive to be real. He cocked his head to the side, trying to figure out what was running through her head.

"When you said I need to learn to channel my emotions another way, how did you mean?" she questioned, looking Klaus up and down. A smirk grew across his face and he walked over to her, closing the gap between them so that they were within inches.

"What did you have in mind?" he whispered, pulling her hair to one side of her neck leaving the other bare and exposed.

Adeline bit her bottom lip causing Klaus's smirk to deepen. She was looking at him with lustful eyes, every nerve in her body was screaming at her to grab him and kiss him. She had never experienced this level of passion and want before but she wanted him.

"Why don't you show me?" she whispered. Klaus leaned in and lined warm kisses down her neck.

"How does that make you feel?" he whispered into her neck.

"Good." She breathed.

He kissed her neck more, swirling his tongue on her soft skin and giving it a suck. "And that?" he smirked.

"Really good." She purred.

He pulled his lips off her skin and looked her in the eyes. She didn't want him to stop touching her—she was desperate for him to keep going.

"Why'd you stop?" she pouted, grabbing him by his shirt and pulling him in tight. He laughed at her urgency and ran his hand over her cheek.

"What is it you want love?" he smirked. He was teasing her, and she knew it, it was obvious what she wanted but he enjoyed playing with her.

"You know what I want." She huffed.

"Sorry—I don't. I'm afraid I'm going to have to hear you say it." He teased.

She rolled her eyes at him, but she was hungry for his touch. She leaned in and pressed her lips against his, and kissed him slowly, sliding her tongue into his mouth and taking her time before pulling away. "I want you." She admitted.

This was the new her, the vampire Adeline. She always felt something for Klaus, she cared for him but the heightened emotion version of herself needed him, she craved him.

"The experience is entirely more...stimulating as an immortal. Are you sure you can handle it?" Klaus smirked.

Adeline swallowed hard—this was the part she wasn't sure about, the part where she didn't know if she should tell him the truth. But he already knew something was off based off her reaction to his words.

"What's wrong?" he questioned. "We don't have to—"

"No, it's not that. I want to." She cut him off. "I just need to tell you something before we do."

"What is it?"

She took a deep breath and looked up at the hybrid who was anxiously awaiting an answer from her. "I've never actually done it—I mean I'm a virgin."

Klaus look at her with a blank expression. He had never met anyone quite like her. Every day she found a new way to surprise him and he loved it. He also loved the idea of being her first and if he and anything to say about it, her last. He was possessive and competitive in that way. It was satisfying to him to know no one else had ever touched her the way he could.

"Okay." He smirked, leaning back into line kisses down her neck. She let out a soft moan into his ear and that drove the hybrid crazy. He picked her up off the floor and she wrapped her legs around him as he walked them to the bed.

Adeline's back collided with the soft mattress and Klaus climbed on top of her, straddling her small body beneath him. She reached for the hem of his shirt and pulled it off him between hungry kisses. Their hands were running down each other's bodies, feeling every inch as their lips rolled together in unison.

Klaus sat leaned up and didn't waste time pulling her shirt off—instead he tore it right down the middle and flung it to the floor. They were kissing and touching, moans escaping both their lips until every article of clothing was removed from both of them. He kissed down her body, licking the soft skin on her upper thigh.

She pulled him back up to her face and smashed her lips in his.

"I want to hear you say it." Klaus whispered into her ear. "I won't go any further unless you say it."

She didn't want to wait any longer, she wanted him—all of him. She caved into his demands.

"I want you." She said in a breathy whisper.

The satisfied smirk spread on Klaus's face and he gave in to her, letting himself fully have Adeline Andrews—he was careful with her at first, but he couldn't control himself the whole time. The way she felt, the way she tasted was the better than he could have imagined. He took his time with her, hitting every spot and making her moan his name.

Adeline's eyes rolled back in her head as she clutched the sheets tightly. Klaus Mikaelson was like a drug to her and now she knew-- she was addicted.
