Naruto's pov

I woke up in the morning with Shikamaru already in the bathroom brushing his teeth. I stood up and stretched everything out. "Good morning Shika-chan." I hugged him from behind. "Good morning Naru-chan. I'm gonna ask Asuma-sensei if we can have the joint sparing today." "That's fine. In the past week alone, I had to escort a bridge building, kill Zabuza Momochi, escort an herbalist, and fight an Akatsuki member. I could really do with some sparing. However, if the pink headed banshee gives you any trouble, don't hesitate to tell me. She's on very thin ice with me." "Okay Naru-chan." I tossed Shika-chan his shirt and pulled my own shirt over my head before changing into my jumpsuit. "Shika-chan, I'll have Team Seven at Training Ground Six." "Okay Naru-chan, see you at seven." I ran out of the house with a piece of toast that Mrs. Nara gave me. I sat in the tree and waited for my team to show up. I saw Sasuke and Ino walking over with my pupils. I saw Kakashi in the tree next to mine. I hung upside down and got their attention. "Hey Naruto!" "Hi Ino. Ino, I was wondering if you would like to keep Lunar with you." "Sure, I love him." Lunar flew from my hair to Ino's hair. "Okay, he eats one field mouse for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, if he's good another one as a snack. It doesn't matter what you feed him along with the mouse, wild berries, birds eggs, or regular animal meat. He has to have a bath once a week, and his wings are to be wash with lavender shampoo, along with his fur." "Got it." I looked at Sasuke to make sure he got the information, cause I don't think Ino was paying attention. "Got it." "Thanks. Hand me that rock." I took the rock from Sasuke's hand and threw it over to Kakashi. He shushined over to the gate. "Today, we have Team Ten coming over here at seven for a sparing match." Sakura was huffy, but didn't say anything. Sasuke and Ino were neutral. My pupils were excited. I was happy to spar against Shika-chan. They should be here, now." We looked toward the gate and saw Shikamaru leading his team over to us, visibly excited, but trying his hardest not to show it." "Hey Kakashi!" Asuma and Kakashi bro hugged and lined our teams together. "Okay, who's sparing with who?" "Shika-chan/Naru-chan!" Shikamaru and I looked at each other and smiled. "Okay, I think that one was a given. Okay. Sai vs Sakura, Sasuke vs Choji. Ino will spare against the victor from Sai/Sakura's match, Inari will face the victor from Sasuke/Choji's match, and Haku will face off the victor from Naruto/Shikamaru's match." Shikamaru and I stood off to the side and started sparing. He went to control my shadow from a distance, but it I jumped onto him and we rolled around. He kicked me off and tried to trick me with three clones. I punch the real one in the arm. All of a sudden, the ground shook. We all fell and look up. It was a giant wolf creature with ten thick tails. "Kakashi!" He nodded. I disappeared behind a tree and changed into my uniform. I jumped into sight again. "UNSEAL BIJUU!" Kurama grew to his normal size and started fighting. "KONOHA, TAKE COVER!" I saw Jiji and the entire Anbu force run over. "JIJI! WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?!" "WE HAVE TO SEAL HIM INTO SOMEONE!" "I'LL DO IT!" Shikamaru yelled. "SHIKA-CHAN, NO! ITS TOO RISKY!" "NARUTO WE DON'T HAVE A CHOICE!" Jiji got to work on using the forbidden seal on him. I cried heavily under my mask and hugged Shikamaru. As the Ten Tailed Beast was being sealed, Shikamaru was in excruciating pain. The seal was on his left peck and he passed out. The village was going to treat him like trash. "Not if I could help it." I thought bitterly. I picked up Shikamaru and raced to Jiji's body. Kakashi picked him up and carried the body to the cemetery. I had the Team follow me to my home. "You will all stay here and take care of the Nara. If even one hair is out of place, there will be hell to pay." My demonic fox ears and tail broke/ripped through my uniform and my wings went black. "Don't open the door for anyone. I am going to assess the damage." I flew through the door and flew over the city. Kurama was in his human form helping the citizens who were trapped under ruble. I flew over to the Nara household to see it collapsed. I paled and searched through the wreckage. I only found Shikamaru's father with a pipe sticking out from his heart. He was next to the back door, so I assumed that he helped Yoshino escape. True to my assumption, I found her a few yards away, unconscious. There were no visible injuries on her, but I still to her to the hospital. I flew back to the house. I was about to break the door down, but the door opened and I flew into Shikamaru. "Shika-chan!" I hugged him tightly. "Don't scare me like that dumbass!" "Troublesome Angel. I'm fine. No long term damage. Now, what of my family. I know you went to check on them." My ears drooped. "Shika-chan, Yoshino I in the hospital. She didn't have any external injuries, but I didn't want to chance it." "What about Father?" I looked down. "I'll take you to him." I put Shikamaru on my back and flew him to his old home. "Brace yourself." I led him toward the back door. "Father..." "Shika-chan....can I bury him in the Namikaze cemetery?" "Please." He didn't show me him face, but I knew he was trying his damned not to cry. "Shika-chan." I faced him, and put his head in the crook of my neck. He just broke down. He sobbed into my shoulder until he fell asleep. I carried Shikaku to my compound and carefully buried him next to my parents. "I hope you find peace in the afterlife Shikaku. Mother, Father. I'm sorry, but I have to gain access to the compound. I have to reveal my lineage." I placed a bouquet of white water lilies on all three graves and carried Shikamaru back to Kakashi's house. I flew over to the council room. "We need to elect a new Hokage and quickly." "I humbly offer myself for the Hokage position." "No." I spoke up. I walked out of the shadows. "The new Hokage will be Tsunade Senju." "You are not a part of the council, brat." "No. I'm not. However, I am the Anbu Commander. This is Sarutobi's will. The next Hokage will be Tsunade Senju." I walked out and removed my uniform. I stood on top of the Hokage tower, facing the population. "ATTENTION KONOHANOGAKURE! MY NAME IS NARUTO UZUMAKI NAMIKAZE! SON OF KUSHINA UZUMAKI AND MINATO NAMIKAZE! JINCHURIKI OF THE NINE TAILED FOX DEMON, KURAMA!" All of Konoha were furious and thought I was telling lies. Then it all clicked for them. The only other person who had blonde and blue eyes was Minato. "I AM ALSO THE DEMON ANGEL!" I brought my wings though the jumpsuit and shocked all of Konoha. "Kurama, get your furry ass up here." I mumbled. Kyu-chan gave an elderly woman to a medical official and ean to me. Kurama was standing next to me, looking down at Konoha. He changed his form to his foxy faced self, about my size to prove his point. I heard various shouts of traitor and demon. "I AM NO DEMON. I COULD RELEASE KURAMA AND LET HIM KILL YOU ALL. IF I DIED HE DOESN'T DIE WITH ME. HE WILL BE RELEASED AND REEK HAVOC. THE ONLY THE STOPPING HIM IS THE CONTRACT I HAVE WITH HIM." They were all regretting trying to kill me when I was younger. "ON BETTER NEWS. THE NEXT HOKAGE WILL TSUNADE SENJU, THE SLUG PRINCESS! TEAMS SEVEN AND TEN WILL BE TEMPORARILY MERGED. HATAKE KAKASHI WILL BE IN CHARGE UNTIL TEAMS SEVEN AND TEN RETRIEVED TSUNADE SENJU! THE ANBU FORCE AND CHUUNINS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE CONTROL! DISMISSED." I flew to the ground and met the gaping looks of my team. "Sensei, was that the wisest course of action?" "No. It wasn't, but I didn't have a choice. They would all be after Shika-chan thinking that the Ten Tails had possessed him. I didn't want him to suffer the same fate I did as an infant. Kakashi go to the Hokage office and start getting things in order there. If need help, ask Ibuki or Anko." "Understood." "Have Iruka be put in charge of damage control." "Got it." "Dismissed." I turned to the team. "You are all under my watch. We are to retrieve the next Hokage. One mistake it will be disasterous. Go check on your loved ones. We leave in two days. Pack essentials for two weeks. Dismissed." They all left except for Sasuke and Shikamaru. "Sasuke, you can go check on the cemetery. Make sure the graves are still intact. When your done that go to Ino." "Okay."Sasuke ran off leaving me with Shikamaru. “Naru-chan, can you take me to mother?” “Sure.” I hoisted him on my back and flew him to the hospital. “Yoshino Nara.” The receptionist scowled at me. “Demons are not allowed in this hospital. Get lost.” “Yoshino Nara. What room is she in?” She went to strike me, when Iruka stepped in. “Madam, you wouldn’t want to harm the person who saves this village from the Nine Tails wrath, do you?” The grip on her wrist seemed to tighten, making her wince slightly. “Room 209 third floor.” I walked Shikamaru to the room and held the door for for him. “Mother?” Yoshino was sitting up in bed and was now facing us. "Shikamaru?" Her eyes were glazed over and were moving to try and find us. Shikamaru had silent sobs racking through his body. "Shikamaru, come here." I helped Shika-chan over to his mother. "Mother..." "Shika, darling being blind is not an issue. Now what happened? The house came crashing down and your father... He pushed me out of the house." "If was a Ten Tailed wolf demon." "What happened?" "Yoshino, the only way to save the village was to seal the wolf away. Shikamaru saved the village by volunteering to do so." "I see. In the basement, if it isn't damaged, I have a scroll on Jinchuriki. Kushina gave me, I guess because your father had the basement on lockdown and was the safest place at the time." "Okay. Yoshino, when you are able to leave, you and Shikamaru are going to live with me in the Namikaze Compound. I'm not taking no as an answer, so I will have a room set up. Shika-chan, will have to room with me for the time being." "Okay. Take care of my baby, Naruto." "I understand." "Bye Mom." Shikamaru kissed her forehead and left with me. I led him outside and led him to the Compound. I gave him a tour of the house and told him to take a shower. I took my own shower downstairs and dressed myself in a simple pair of black pants. I walked upstairs and heard the shower stop. "Naru-chan, can you get me a pair of clothes?" "Sure." I looked inside my dresser for something that would fit him. I didn't find anything small enough, but I did find a huge navy blue shirt in my Dad's closet. I grabbed that and a pair of boxers and handed them to Shika-chan. "Sorry, my clothes won't fit you. You're gonna have to wear that until I can get to the store." He stepped out of the bathroom with a towel hanging off of his head, which was soping wet. "Come here." He sat in front of me on the floor as I sat on the bed and dried his hair. Sometime as I was doing sit task, he nodded off. "Kurama." He showed up with a bowl of soba. "What's up kit?" "Watch the house and make sure, unwanted visitors, remain a sixty feet from the house." "You want to try and connect with the Ten Tails?" "Yeah." "Don't worry kit. I'll protect the place." He ruffled my hair and left. I placed my hand on the seal and passed my chakra through it.

In Shikamaru's mind state

I opened my eyes and saw a large cave at night, surrounded with bars. I stepped up to it. "Ten Tails." The wolf demon walked over. "Who are you cub? You are not my Jinchuriki." "Well, Ma'am, I am the Jinchuriki for Kurama. Your Jinchuriki is Shikamaru Nara. He is respected ninja." "I see, are you able to summon him here?" "Sure." I held my hands together and soon I had Shika-chan standing next to me. "Naru-chan?" "Shikamaru, this is your new friend. Treat her with respect." "Hello young Cub. My name is Tallulah. I do not wish us to be filled with hatred. I did not willing start the fight with Konoha. I was being controlled by a man with strange looking eyes." I looked at her. "Were the eyes where they supposed to be?" "No. They were on the arm. It was strange. Has this human had any issues having strange eyes in their arm?" "No, you just helped me so a case. Thank you, Tallulah." "You are welcome, Cub." I snickered." "What is the joke, Cub?" "Oh, it's stupid. You and Kurama both call us something. He calls me Kit, and I guess you're gonna call us Cubs." "If you do not like it, I do not mind calling you by your names." "No it's fine. It's cute. Shika-chan, is there anything you want to ask Tallulah?" "No." "Okay then, Cubs. I will see you another time." I sent Shikamaru out of his mind scape and let him continue sleeping. "Tallulah, I'm going to make you a human jutsu and an unsealing jutsu. Is this okay with you?" "Yes cub."

After an hour I finished the scroll. "Okay, if Shikamaru agrees to the summons, you should be able to appear as a human or your wolf form." "Thank you Cub."

Outside Shikamaru's mind state

Shika-chan was still sleeping, so i wrapped my arms around him and dozed off myself.
